Get the wonton soup-the wantons had a good chewiness which indicated they're homemade. The rich broth had a ton of flavor. Orange chicken had a perfect crunch and wasn't the typical over fried and breaded crap most restaurants serve. The spice had a nice hit kick too. Vegetables in the cashew chicken were ample and thick so they weren't soggy. It had good flavor and wasn't mild spice-wise. The servers were lovely and fast. I recommend!

Food tastes good!! All of it..i would say its the best within colorado springs. Servings, its on the worst side. Both pictures are worth $100. 1 order is not enough for 1 person. Theyre busy so order ahead.

Very subpar Chinese food experience for us. We ordered takeout and noticed an odd smell immediately. The host was very nice but stated it would take about 15 min when it in fact took less than 3 minutes. This and the appearance of the food made us believe it had been ready and sitting for a while so definitely not fresh. The lo mein has a different and strange taste and honestly looks like just oily spaghetti. Super disappointed and still searching for a decent Chinese place we can frequent.

Still my favorite Chinese restaurant in all of El Paso County. Great service. Clean. Consistently delicious and made to order. I highly recommend. I wish it wasn't so far from my house! Owners changed but still great.

This place was a delight from the beginning until the end. We were greeted with a welcoming smile and parted with the same smile. The menu was simple and easy to read through. The lay out felt cozy which was very nice. The jasmine tea was delicious and came out in a small press type set up. Adorable. The food though! What a hit with the family. Their homemade pork and green onion dumpling with a slightly spicy dipping sauce were out of this world! I got a beef noodle soup, my husband got the egg foo young and my daughter got the chicken lo mein. Everything was delicious. We couldn't find a negative thing about this place and can't wait to come back and eat again!

We loved getting takeout from Lanshing Cafe frequently many years ago, but haven't been in a long time after moving away from the neighborhood. I'm happy to report it is just as good if not better than we remember it! We ordered online and picked up our food to go, the online ordering time estimate was nearly perfect and very quick! I wanted to try something that the average American Chinese restaurant doesn't have, so I ordered the noodles with black bean sauce based on previous Yelp reviews. This was a new dish for me so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I really liked the rich flavor and the thick creamy texture added to the noodles. The pickled radish complemented it well. I wish they had a vegetarian version so that others I was with could have tried it! We also ordered the shrimp with seasonal vegetables, the crab meat cheese wontons, and the sesame pumpkin pancakes. Everything was very good, especially the sauces! The pancakes made the perfect dessert, the sauce added a balanced sweetness to the sesame and pumpkin, and the pancake texture was soft and slightly chewy inside with the lightly fried/sesame coated exterior. I can't wait to order food here again next time I'm in the neighborhood!

I recently moved back down to springs from northern colorado where I had so many choices for various authentic Asian food, today on Christmas I was in search of a good place to pick up food and I was amazed at the unique authentic dishes this restaurant serves and also how close it is to me! I love Jajangmyeon and was surprised cause not many restaurants in southern Colorado serve it and usually have to go up north so that was already a win!The Jajangmyeon and Taiwan style beef noodle soup is amazing and I'll be back to try all the Szechuan dishes!

My order had so much hair in it, it was like someone shaved their head into the fryer. I feel like I'm going to vomit.

Everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The staff spoke English as well as either Cantonese or Mandarin, which initially gave me high hopes for the food. **Food** I won't lie--I came in with pretty moderate expectations. After chatting with the staff in both Mandarin and Cantonese, I thought we were in for a really authentic meal. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. We ordered five dishes, and it quickly became apparent that the food is heavily catered toward American tastes. Several dishes contained ingredients that traditionally wouldn't be included, while other key ingredients were missing altogether. The biggest issue for me was the sweetness. Three of the five dishes were noticeably sweet, which isn't what I expected from the dishes we ordered. The standout dish of the meal was the Mongolian Beef. It was flavorful and wasn't overly sweet. That said, it lacked the spice I typically associate with the dish. The Mapo Tofu was probably the biggest surprise. It was missing the ground pork that usually gives the dish so much flavor and texture. Instead, it included bell peppers, onions, and water chestnuts--ingredients I've personally never seen in Mapo Tofu. Rather than being spicy and numbing, the dominant flavor was sweetness. The Chicken Pan-Fried Noodles were difficult to enjoy. The sauce was very sweet, and the noodles were cooked to the point where they were tough and chewy. Instead of the thinner noodles commonly used for this dish, they used thick noodles that reminded me more of lo mein. We also ordered a Beef and Scallion dish. It felt more like a beef chop suey variation with scallions added. The scallions themselves were cooked perfectly, but once again the sauce leaned much sweeter than expected. The Hot and Sour Soup was actually the first item to arrive. I jokingly told my family that if the soup wasn't good, I might be worried about the rest of the meal because hot and sour soup is one of those dishes that really showcases balance and technique. Unfortunately, it ended up confirming my concerns. It lacked the bold sour and spicy flavors that make the dish so enjoyable. By the end of the meal, we had a lot of leftovers. The only items we brought home were the Mongolian Beef and a few pieces of beef picked out from the Beef and Scallion dish. **Overall** This restaurant may appeal to diners who enjoy sweeter, Americanized Chinese food, but it wasn't for me. Based on this visit, I wouldn't return, and I wouldn't personally recommend it to anyone looking for the flavors and dishes I grew up eating.
