The place looked like a typical Chinese restaurant and the menu offered usual Chinese entrees, but when I did a search for Vietnamese Pho noodles, this place came up on my search. I called ahead to see if they have MSG in their food, they confirmed that they didn't. Yes! So I decided to give this place a try. The price for veggie pho here was pretty reasonable and the portions were pretty good too, wish they had more in portions. They usually use beef broth for the veggie pho but on special request they will replace it with veggie broth which is what I did. It tasted great and they had assortment of veggies. The pho was full of goodness, fresh and clean from any unwanted ingredients. The restaurant was clean and neat, seems like a family run business and the service was great. I dined in but many usually order take out or pick up. Definitely worth checking out again in the near future. read more

This USED to be so good when owned by the previous owners. Today my daughter and I went in and we could not even stomache the food. Chicken Pad Thai might as well have been fish sauce soup, it was so fishy. Bun dac biet was no better. The meat was chewy and somewhat a mystery as to wether it was chicken pork or beef. The Vietnamese egg roll was overpowered by ginger. SAVE your $$$$$. This horrible experience set us back $36 and wasn't even palatable:( The owner was not at all friendly. Support any other local business as I'm sure there is no where else as bad. Poor fish in the aquarium in the restaurant couldn't even see out because of the algae. I have order thier pho which is the main thing I have came back for and thier egg drop soups. They are both a 10/10. Honestly looks sketchy from the outside, but don't let it stop you! This place is such a find with big portions, cheap prices, delicious food and fast/friendly service. It was empty inside when I went (seems like most people do takeout), so there was practically no wait for our dinner. The vegetarian egg rolls are SO crunchy and delicious! It comes with sweet and sour sauce but I'm partial to soy sauce with them. I choose kung pao tofu for my entree with steamed rice, but you can upgrade to fried rice for $1. Tried to go to Saigon Tapioca, which we love, but they were closed so we ended up a mile away at this horrendous place, after all this place has 4 stars. They deserve the 1 star im giving them. Im from Dallas and have eaten at Pho places since I was a teen; service can sometimes be lacking as a cultural difference but typically the food makes the experience enjoyable. Not here. Our waitress brought out our ice water with 2 pieces of ice. The warm cloudy water so refreshing. We then asked for straws which she was happy to basically throw them on the table at us. Only one other customer there. Not busy. I could say more but lets move on to the food. Hmmmm, suspect. We ordered Pho Tai and Combination Vietnamese rice plate. The pho was literally the WORST ive ever had. The broth was super cloudy. A previous review by someone stated that the broth tasted like watered down chicken broth. That person must have gone on a good day. Our broth tasted like dirty water. I didnt even try the rare steak because that wasnt my order; I had the rice plate. My rice was fine. They at least cant eff up rice. My meat looked and tasted like 4 day old chinese flavored meat that they pawn off as Vietnamese. The meat was edible if you think in terms of survival and havent eaten in 7 days because theres a zombie apocolypse outside, other than that I would desribe the taste and presentation of my dish as glorified DOG food. We barely ate a few bites then left wondering when NOT if we were gonna get sick. If you want Vietnamese food DO NOT go here. Go to Saigon Tapioca 1 mile away. Maybe this place has decent chinese food but ill never know. This place by no means deserves the rating it has and I question rather or not it should even be open and running. read more

They were fresh, hot, and not drenched in oil. My mom ordered the deep fried seafood combination and I got the sesame shrimp. All the foods came out in decent time. The deep fried seafood combination was very good. I really like how they put the sauce on the side so the fried seafood remained crispy. The sesame shrimp was delicious too. It wasn't heavily breaded and the sauce was not overly sweet. Our entrees were delicious, flavorful, not salty and fresh. We both very much liked the sauces that came and was on our dishes. My mom likes it so much she started scooping the sauces and putting it over her rice. Lol. We enjoyed the food and finished everything we ordered. Don't let the outside of the place fool you. The food is good. It is a Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. I look forward to coming back here again to try something else whenever I'm in the vicinity again. I first walked in and the waitress seemed to have an attitude when I didn't hear what she said when I first walked in. I ordered steamed dumplings and rare steak and meatball pho, the dumplings were okay but weren't hot/warm. Just felt room temperature. I NEVER leave a bowl of pho full but it just wasn't good.. like at all. I tried to add hoisin and siracha to fix it but the broth tasted like nothing, the meatballs tasted sour/old, and the noodles were so soggy. Seriously one of our all time favorites. I've never left a follow up review but this place has proven consistently great. My partner and I are rather picky (both of us are chefs), and I have to point out the care taken in the food. You can tell the ingredients are all well chosen, and that whoever makes the food really puts care into it. New ownership. I will miss the Crab Asparagus soup, the Bo Quon Tom, and the dishes beyond the usual Pho and Noodle Bowls that the old ownership did so well. The men's restroom is definately not as clean as it should be, and when we walked in, most of the tables needed bussed. That has kept my review below 5 star. Unfortunately, they were also out of the Hoan Thanh Mi soup, so I had to switch to the combination Noodle Bowl. Nonetheless, the food was lrepared well and the Nuoc Cham was quite good. Delicate and not over sweetened (though it could have used a smidge more lime) It is a little out of the way for me, though and without the menu going much beyond Pho and Noodle Bowls, it is unlikely that I will.continue to go out of my way to come here in the future. Absolutely incredible. The service alone was impeccable. We had just finished visiting Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods and my husband did not feel well. Our waitress went above and beyond for him by packing us extra soup for him to feel better. She was kind and attentive to a group of seven people. Each one of us were impressed with her service. I've tried both the combination rice noodle bowl and the combination rice bowl. Both are delicious, just depends on if you're in the mood for rice, or rice noodles. The combination bowls come with chicken, grilled pork and shrimp. The grilled pork is absolutely incredible. And I will only eat shrimp from here, nowhere else. So that says a lot. The meals also come with a egg-roll, which is by far the best egg-roll you will ever try! The rice bowls come with a fried egg, which I am not a fan of, but my dad is so he ended up with two eggs. Portions are large for the price. We ended up ordering extra egg-rolls as well. Only reason we gave 4 stars is because wait time is pretty long and it's hard to order over the phone. read more

My favorite pho place! I absolutely love their pho here! As I travel across the U.S. I always look for the best pho. It's comfort food for me and I finally found a place I will return to every week. I know! I love it that much! I tried 3 others in Colorado Springs and thought there was nothing else so I thought I would just have to settle. I am happy I decided to try another place. The new owner is so sweet and wonderful and she remembers my order all the time. I am not the type that covers my pho with condiments and if the broth is perfect, I come back. Especially when the customer service is wonderful. Thai tea and fresh spring rolls (AKA summer rolls) is great too.
