Came for Pho and wasn't disappointed. I had a chicken one, huge portion, very flavorful and can't think of anything wrong with it. The place has kind of "hole in the wall" vibe, so don't plan anything romantic there, but if you are going for a good bowl of soup - this is the place. Service was super nice, 5*+. Overall, highly recommend if you are into Pho. They also have a Mexican menu there with a chef from Guadalajara (idk if it's permanently there or just a seasonal thing) - but we haven't tried that.

Had seen lots of good things about Pho King Wing on the COS Foodies Facebook group, so thought we'd try it. Boy, were the good things I'd read accurate...some of the best fried catfish I've ever had! Coleslaw was tangy and crunchy. My husband loved his jambalaya with the sauce/base really standing out as excellent, with lots of andouille, shrimp and chicken. It's a big platter and enjoyed the leftovers today. Oh, and we also had the crab cheese wontons, which were hot, fresh, and tasty! Uriah definitely helped make the entire experience. He recognized we were thirsty and brought a carafe of water. He was a huge help with the menu and just generally kind and welcoming. Finding out I was a southerner, he brought me out a new bottle of hot sauce for the fish. The only thing the fish platter was missing was a thick slice of onion, a southern thing. Not complaining and I'm sure I could have asked for some. 10/10 and we'll be back to try other things on the menu, in addition to probably getting some more catfish.

    Injected chicken wing

UPDATE: I went back the very next day due to my cravings and picked up a 6 injected wings and fries as well as a red velvet cake. Everything was horrible. The wings were so burnt they were black and tasted burnt. I spent $10 on the cake when I buy a much better one for $3.99 at king soopers! I couldn't even eat half my meal it was so bad and I was super hungry. So I put it in the fridge and planned to call the next day to see if they could remake it. I'm dealing with an acl injury and didn't call the next day so I took the $ loss. Due to the $ loss I tried reheating in the air fryer and tried one bite before sadly tossing it all in the garbage. I ate the red velvet cake the night I got the food and I only ate about half of it as well. Super disappointing and huge waste of my money when I'm not working due to surgery. After this experience we will NOT be back.

Ordered online for pick up at 7 pm and when we arrived, the door was locked but the sign said open. There was 1 person inside, and they saw us outside and did not try to acknowledge that we were even waiting at the door. You can see the person in the video can clearly see us.Called multiple times and no answer. This lack of professionalism when running a business is how you loose money and customers. I didn't get a chance to try the food but I 'm glad I didn't if it tastes as good as their service

Love the name! Funny theme. Cozy little spot. Super friendly service. Tasty sauces and flavorful food. The catfish was super salty. To the point we had to eat it with other things to offset the saltiness, and at $20 for two pieces, this was a giant disappointment. The fries, fried ocra, hushpuppies and pho were all good and seasoned well. The coleslaw was very good. I could eat a bowl of that stuff. One honest critique; Hot dang! $13-18 for 6 wings? We will have to pass. I like the idea of injected wings so maybe next time? Not sure. But, worth mentioning the bleu cheese, cracksauce, spicy ketchup and red chili sauce was nice at the table.

Great place! Delicious and affordable. The staff was nice and seemed clean. It would be nice to know if they're opening later than stated times. But other than that, totally great place:)

Ya'll! Pho King Wing is legit! My wife got the fried catfish with fried okra and hush puppies. We both thought it was the best fried catfish we've ever had and I don't eat okra, but she said it was probably the best she has had as well. I had the 2lb crawfish boil special for $25. Man it hit the spot. I haven't had crawfish in a few years since moving here from Texas. I like mine spicy, so I brought my own can of Old Bay from home They also gave me a fried rice to sample. It was also fantastic. The service was just as good as the food. Uriah is one of the owners and his service skills and personality make you feel like you are a guest in his home. As we were about to leave, another couple that was sitting by us had just gotten their appetizer of cheese wontons and they were freaking out as to how good they were. Y'all, go support this new small business. You will not be disappointed.

10 wings - great garlic Parmesan and Kicken' Cajun dry rub

When we arrived at the location, after following yelp directions, the outside signage was not what we expected. Instead of "Pho' King Wing." the sign was for "Pho' Original Asian Cuisine" (although a sign in the window still reads "Pho' King Wing"). We were greeted at the door by the co-owner/host/server, Uriah, with the question, "Are you hungry?" When we replied that we were, he said, "I've got food!" and directed us to have a seat wherever we wanted. I would almost call this a "World Kitchen". Upon perusing the menu, we realized that this restaurant served much more than pho and wings. The menu had soul food, southern cuisine, Greek gyros, burgers, Asian appetizers, and even had Mexican food during their late happy hour. (Although they did not have iced tea readily available, Uriah made hot tea for me and poured it over ice, which I greatly appreciated) We decided to try their namesake foods for our first visit. We ordered the Pho Chay (Vegetable), medium size, and the 10 Pc Wing which comes with 2 choices of flavors - we chose Great Garlic Parmesan and Kickin' Cajun Dry Rub. Uriah brought out an extra bowl along with the small bowls of veggies and other accompanying pho additions. Then the main bowl and chicken wings arrived. The food looked and smelled delicious! We dove in! The Pho was full of wonderful veggies and tofu and had a delicate, delicious taste. (I like a bit more spice, so I added some sriracha.) The wings were also delicious. I liked the Cajun dry rub best while my hubby enjoyed the garlic parm more. I even made a point of adding some of the extra dry spice to my bowl of pho. We look forward to returning to try more of the amazing and eclectic food!

We walked through the front patio area and pulled open the door. It was a bit dark, and I immediately saw a bar. I was concerned that this was a 21+ restaurant but noticed a child sitting in a booth nearby. Thank goodness! The bartender motioned that we could sit anywhere. We initially sat at a table, but it was a bit wobbly, so we moved to a booth. She came over with some menus shortly along with silverware. We let her know we'll be sharing a few plates, and this is what we ordered: * Basque Mussels $16 - The mussels were good and the broth was enjoyable as well. 4/5 * Blintzini $16 - This was an enjoyable crepe with wild mushrooms and bleu cheese cream. 4/5 * Fishermen's Stew $14 - The stew was just okay. It was very hot from the beginning to the end. It just wasn't a wow dish for us. 3/5 * Spanish Oxtail $26 - Now this is a winner of a dish! The bison just fell off the bone and was so flavorful! It came with their signature Summa pots. We did inquire on how long it would take to have another order, but we were in a time crunch, so we didn't get a chance to. In retrospect, we would have ordered two plates of this along with another order of Summa Pots or Loaded Summa Pots. 5/5 * Pineapple Mango Cobbler $12 - Listed on the menu as seasonal fruit, we asked what kind of fruit it was and pineapple and mango was the answer. It was enjoyable and had me looking up recipes to make cobblers at home. 4/5 The bartender was also our waitress, so she had to move around quite a bit. Therefore, we did need to ask for more water or wave for another napkin. Overall, we enjoyed our visit at Summa! They have various events including Trivia Sundays and weekday happy hour options.

Stopped in for lunch on a weekend. Soon realizing we've eating at the Public House Burger Bunker…read moreover at Red Leg brewery before. Not a bad thing though because we really liked it when we had it at Red Leg. Small tucked away restaurant that was pretty busy but still a table to sit down right away. We started out with Pretzel Knots which were great. Would recommend but also a lot of good sounding appetizers so probably can't go wrong. We ordered the Pub Classic burger, Rampart Reuben, and Colorado Cheesesteak. All of this was great. The Colorado Cheesesteak was awesome! Would recommend! The prices were I feel like $1-2 high per item for a pub, but honestly the food was great so it is what it is. One disappointment was the kids menu was a little bare.. my 4 year old wanted a cheeseburger and there's no kids burger so the Pub Classic was for a 4 year old which was a hard pill to swallow $17 for a 4 year olds lunch. On Yelp there's a photo of a kids burger and that doesn't appear on the menu anymore, things like Mac n cheese, grilled cheese, personal pizza.. Overall though it was all good tasting, good service, and a cool vibe.

Cool Vibe, Average Food…read more I wanted to give The Public House at The Alexander a shot because of all the positive reviews. The setting definitely has something going for it--the building's history as a former movie studio gives the place a unique, hip atmosphere. But unfortunately, I felt like the vibe was a bigger part of the experience than the food. The restaurant was warm inside, and the cleanliness was a concern. Our tables felt sticky, the overall dining area didn't feel particularly clean, and there was a pesky fly flying around while we were eating. We ordered the wings, the Craft Burger, and the Candied Valente Burger. We specifically asked for the wings to be extra crispy and light on the sauce. Unfortunately, they weren't crispy at all--the skin was actually somewhat soft. One of the wings also seemed questionable as to whether it was fully cooked, which was concerning. I will give them credit for one thing: the wings are huge. The ranch dressing also wasn't very good. My wife thought the flavor of her burger was good but said it was overcooked. My burger initially came out overcooked as well, but the staff did fix it, which I appreciated. The burger itself had a nice grilled flavor, but with all the toppings together, the overall burger was just so-so. The fries had a light batter on them, and I think they could have been really good, but they were just average. We also tried the Diet Coke, but the fountain mix wasn't very good, so we switched to iced tea. Unfortunately, the tea didn't taste freshly made either. Overall, The Public House has a cool, interesting vibe, and I can understand why people enjoy the atmosphere. The former movie-studio setting definitely makes it different from your typical restaurant. But for me, the food was average at best, and the cleanliness and temperature inside took away from the experience. Maybe the atmosphere is what people are really coming for--but based on our meal, I don't think the food lived up to the hype.
