As it's getting to peak winter season and the weather is freezing cold - I've been on the hunt for delicious Pho and/or ramen spots! And Eve's Garden hit the craving plus so much more. Everything about the restaurant is trendy with its own unique vibe. From the minute I walked in, I found the atmosphere to be very welcoming. The team are all super energetic, friendly and clearly have a passion for what they do - which added to the ambiance. The FOOD was all DELICIOUS, and plated with the utmost care and attention. We devoured each and every course, while enjoying the live music which they have every Friday. Everything was amazing, but the highlights for me from the menu were the: * 'Fall-off-the-Bone Pho Stone Pot Adventure' which was superb -- with the freshest ingredients, and broth that was nothing short of divine. The depth of the flavours in the broth were really apparent, along with the richness of the ingredients used to make the broth. 10/10 * 'Garlic Noodles Paradise' which was chef's kiss decadent!!! As lovers of spicy food, my friend and I opted to have ours made spicy , which in my opinion elevated to entire dish. It was sooooo delicious. The banh mi was superr good, and they gave a lot of peanuts with it. We ordered both stone pots and two cocktails as well (fallen angel and the lychee one). The cocktails were a huge hit, they were strong but did not taste strongly of alcohol. Our waitress was really nice, but service was slow despite the restaurant being fairly empty. The restaurant itself was super cute, I really liked the lighting, and it's a nice little spot to have a chill meal. We ordered both stone pots. I wouldn't recommend getting the stone pots, mainly because they ended up overcooking the noodles as the dis stayed hot for too long, so the noodles fall apart and need to be spooned up. The broth pouring was a bit awkward as it spilled on the table and the floor from the kettle for both pots. Wow, this place was a great find by my former colleague for a get-together. It's tucked away down in the new Reston development areas, but the food was amazing and it's got a super cool vibe. Mocktails were damn good - particularly the Sunrise in Italy with Lychee. We had the lemongrass beef and fish sauce wings to start, and they were damn good. I had the hot stone pot fried rice with grilled beef for my main, and loved it. The rice at the bottom got crispy and chewy and added so much to the dish. My friends split the hot pot pho for two and it looked amazing too. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone in Reston. read more

The stone pho pots are extremely overpriced. Staff said it's a larger portion for two people but it's equivalent to any small pho order at any other restaurant. Everything tasted great. Just don't waste your money on the expensive stone pots. We left hungry. read more

The waiter forgot to put in our appetizer order. Didn't realize the mistake until our entrees arrived. We waited 30-45 min for our appetizer to finally arrive. I ordered the vegetables with grilled meat. By the time we were ready for our entree, the food was so dry and almost inedible. The meat was like jerky. Was disappointed with the amount of vegetables as well. Food was a little pricey for what I got. Place was clean and a lot of floral design made the place look nice. This was a bit of a drive for us, so unfortunately will not be giving this place a second chance. Two parties that came in after us finished their meals and left before us. My friends and I came here for a happy hour which is only available at the bar! But we got seated at a table and it was so cute inside and the service was very fast and everyone was kind. I got the Vietnamese garden with chicken and absolutely loved it, and would eat it again! I highly recommend coming hungry because the portions are big, but also perfect for sharing! They had plenty of indoor seating and one bathroom, and it is street parking, but there is some garage parking to the side of the restaurant. The 2nd time not so much. 5/5 Ambiance- Oh this place it so chic like to match the names Eve's Garden, you would never expect them to serve full plate menu. The decor and music is on point. Pho stone pot adventure $34 2/5- Ok this is such a waste of money just get the normal pho bowl instead paying double the price for broth to be serve in hot pot. Why ? Well the stone pot didn't stay hot any longer at all to be honest, they poor a luke warm broth in to a hot stone bowl so it didn't do much. The meat was presently nicely bit precook and overly cook super dry. I was so disappointed First Bloom mocktail $10 4/5- Cute but doesn't taste like watermelon at all like the girl suggested. We told her that my sister don't like flower and this too me taste like overly sweet lemonade with flower taste. I saw this place popping up in my feed and was excited to try it out. AND I AM SO GLAD I DID! Hahn (apologies if I got the name wrong!) was spot on with his mixing and, my goodness, his mocktails were on point - flavorful, refreshing and you can suck those down all night and feel fine in the morning Lenny, our waiter was helpful and attentive and gave us great recommendations. The pork belly buns were delicious, all that fresh herbs and tender juicy pork...#mouthwatering... the buns were a little tough, but that seriously didn't matter, the fillings were that good. I can't say enough about the freshness of the vegetables and herbs, they really transformed the Pad Thai (I know, so plain Jane, but listen I really like the dish AND they did an excellent job with it). Their garlic noodles were also DELISH - I mean these guys know how to prepare pork - and they had some pickled carrots in their that cut the richness in all the right ways... c'est magnifique! We went on a Thursday, so their menu is paired back - they just opened - but there is so much more they have to offer and I can't wait to be back to try their lunch and weekend dinner menus! Away from the hustle and bustle in Reston, the "Lantern House kitchen & Bar" is a perfect date night place with cozy lighting, simple yet elegant decor and warm ambiance. I think once the Weihle construction is done it will help. I go for the pho and Rice Vermicelli. They don't serve the rice vermicelli in a traditional bowl more like a large plate. I've had the pork and beef and both are delicious. The pho is rich and full of flavor. And unlike most Vietnamese they actually give you a large iced coffee that's equivalent to a Venti. Everyone seems to like the Blazing Harmony. I was looking for was seafood option and chose the shrimp. The disappointing part of this dish was the size of tiger pawn. The Crab Curry rice wasn't bad; definitely could have used more flavor ~ The Mussels Royale was delicious - soft mussels and the BROTH made it so worth. Also the portion is HUGE - most certainly a meal in itself. The Crispy Pan noodles tasted like the korean snack 뿌셔뿌셔 (which are like raw ramen noodles with the sauce packet). Wasn't really a fan - just tasted like crispy crackers Loved the sauce and veggies on the noodles but I wish I had it with actually cooked noodles. Service wasn't special - would say they are on the less attentive side and had to personally get up a couple of times to ask for things. Our friend really liked the atmosphere of this new Asian restaurant in the neighborhood so we decided to give it a try. I love Asian food and try to support new business whenever I can, so was very excited for this new gem. The restaurant was pretty empty at 6:15pm when we arrived. Only one other table was there besides us. The place looks clean and the decor was more upscale than other run-down Vietnamese restaurants but nothing too impressive. Chairs were pretty comfortable so I'd give the setup a 4/5 rating. Proceeding to the menu: wow can you make this menu any more confusing? Most items listed had interesting made up names + protein options, but no information about what's in the dish or how it's made. No pictures either. Tell me, how does one know what Vietnamese Garden is if they haven't eaten there before? Poor execution (1/5) We ordered two dishes and a glass of wine. The garlic noodle with chicken was alright. Nothing special but it was flavorful. Definitely not worth $20. Would probably pay $15 at most at other restaurants. The pineapple fried rice was absolutely boring. No pineapple flavor. Tastes like a flavorless fried rice you'd get from a Chinese take out. Honestly Panda Express's fried rice is probably better than this and more flavorful. Definitely not worth $21. I'd paid $13 for this if it's just fried rice and bits of chicken pieces. Now onto the wine, where do I begin... my husband insisted on ordering a glass of white wine (sauv blanc) for $13. The pour is so small that it seems to be only half of what you normally get at other restaurants (so really you get maybe 1/3-1/4 of a tall wine glass pour). And guess what? The whole bottle at a grocery store or Total Wine costs $14. I get that alcohol has the highest markup, especially for wine. But if your bottle only costs $14 and you charge $13 per glass, at least give us a normal pour. Honest review: 2/5 for food and drinks. Overall experience, absolutely disappointing. If you manage to get in there on time for Happy Hour, maybe it's worth ordering something there at a price that seems "discounted" but would have been normal prices elsewhere. Take your business somewhere else. Completely overpriced restaurant with poor execution and lackluster food. I noticed they changed the restaurant name very recently so maybe a change of ownership? At the time I went, Eve's Garden was fairly new. The restaurant has a nice ambiance. Very chic and elegant decor. The food however, was a bit disappointing. Everything was beautifully plated, but the taste was just mediocre. I think the stone pot pho was supposed to be the highlight/specialty of the place and it basically was just like hot pot. We did have to send a dish or two back because they weren't cooked properly. Could've just been new restaurant kinks that they hadn't figured out. The service was fantastic though. Wasn't too crowded on a Wednesday seat and got seated immediately, although service was rather slow at times. I enjoyed my plum Japanese whiskey drink, lamb chops (tender, sauce, flavour, on POINT!), and banana dessert (flambéed banana with ice cream, raspberries, caramel and nut worked great) were all fantastic. To be honest, I didn't really try any of the Vietnamese / Asian dishes so have no idea what they are like, but the "fancier" items / specials definitely were a hit for me. The blazing harmony was a straightforward/simple dish, but all elements were executed very well - very homey and comforting. **Update on review after paying the bill. The 10% discount promotion was presented to us by the waitress in a very misleading way. We were told that posting a review and following on IG would get us a 5% discount each. After posting on both apps, we requested the waitress provide us the final bill and she told us that the discount would only be 5% since we were a party of 2, and the 10% discount would only apply to a party of 1.
