This is exactly the romantic boutique hotel that we were hoping to find in Sedona. The hotel room is charming and the hotel owner made sure every detail was considered. We had our own deck with fireplace and our favorite place to "hang out" was the swinging chairs in the Zen Garden surrounded by bamboo and a waterfall. I just spent the night at the Latern Light Inn in Sedona AZ. It was a Fantastic winter retreat! I'm not a review writer, and I mostly stay at big chain resorts, but everything about my stay was great. From check-in to check-out. First off, Frank and Daisy,the owners, were warm friendly and right away put you at ease. They are everything you want in B and B owners, and nothing you don't want. My room #114, was decorated just enough to make you feel you are on a exciting getaway, but also enough to make you feel warm and at home. The main living room had 2 big comfy couches. The kind you can watch TV in with a nice hot toddy. It was the perfect place to unwind after sight seeing in Sedona all day. The beds/mattresses are new and will get you to a good nights sleep. No problem. Outside our bedroom door we had a small terrace like area to ourselves, with a very cool above ground modern fire pit/feature. We enjoyed sitting out there all bundled up with a glass of wine to end the day. Not only will I be back on my next visit to Sedona, but I'm bringing friends. I cannot stress it enough, Lantern Light Inn is conducive to a great time all year round. read more

Excellent bed and breakfast for a weekend getaway. I brought my wife here for our 2 year anniversary. It's in a great location in town that is within 5 minutes of a lot of really good restaurants and in a location that does not have too much traffic congestion. The grounds are very beautiful. It was raining when we arrived so we were unable to enjoy the grounds as much as we wanted to. We did get to use our outdoor fire pit and patio on our last night when it was dry and it was quite nice once I figured out how to get the pit up and running. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room is kind of small. There is a clean Keurig machine with pods. The staff also gave us a bottle of champagne and two glasses which was really nice. We did not notice noise from other guests like other reviews wrote. The breakfast basket was cute but was not a lot of food so you will likely need to go somewhere else for breakfast. It's Ok for one night. It's a nice place to stay, I suppose. We were here for one night and that was enough for us. On a positive note, Very friendly staff, and the grounds are very nice. Room is quaint with a nice large TV. Parking easy. Joining rooms are not very quiet or private, however. You will hear your next door visitors sneezing, talking, or the sound of their TV through the wall. Floors are creaky. Our in-room porcelain coffee mugs clearly had only been "rinsed" out from the previous guests, and not washed via dishwasher. Dried coffee residue in both. The included breakfast choices were fine, however I selected the "protein shake" that stated it was Muscle Milk or similar. This arrived in an unsealed jelly jar (as if homemade), and tasted like non-fat milk with powered coffee creamer in it and tons of sugar. After the coffee cup fiasco, there was no way I would drink that. I'm a germ/clean freak, so my advice to the staff is to just offer a sealed (new) bottle of actual Muscle Milk or something similar, or just don't offer the breakfast thing at all. People will find thier way to a good breakfast. Also, while the tile floor in the shower looked clean, it felt greasy/waxy. yuk. Could use a good bleach rub-down. Unfortunately, the $270 price tag for a one-night stay was just not worth it. Sorry folks. read more

Beds are comfortable, staff polite and accommodating, the cucumber water is refreshing. A great place to stay when it's warm and you can enjoy their patios. Also not a bad place to stay if you're out hiking/exploring all day. If you plan to use your room and spend time here there isn't much room. A step above a motel. I just checked in less than 2 hours ago and I already am ready to rate this place. This is an OUTSTANDING facility. It is dainty, yet sparkly clean and elegant. The female owner(husband and wife ownership) is super friendly. She was easy to talk to and cared about our stay. She asked if we had any questions, recommended good hiking trails & good restaurants as well. Our room smelled so clean and fresh when we walked in. The entire room is upgraded with cool AC, ceiling fan, king sized bed(comfortable!!), walk in tile shower, large flat screen TV, charging stations on each side of the bed, coffee maker(coffee or tea available). 10/10 recommend!! read more

This bed & breakfast is one of the most adorable B&B's I have stayed at. We only booked one night and wished we had more. It's a little tucked away, so just look for the lantern. The property is secluded with lush foliage. Recently remodeled, each room is nicely decorated with comfy beds & pillows, large flatscreen tv, fridge, breakfast basket delivered to your room and many more amenities. I really enjoyed my stay at Lantern Light Inn this summer. It has been totally remodeled, so everything is modern and new. The rooms and gardens are immaculate. There is no pool and children aren't allowed, so it is a quiet and peaceful retreat. The bed was comfortable, as were the couches in the living room. Wow! 10 stars! First of all the location. Close to everything. Right off the main highway but you would never know it. They have created such a beautiful and relaxing space. When you pull in the parking lot you can almost feel your body just melt into the tranquil oasis they have made. The outdoor space is filled with greenery. The swinging chairs are so comfortable you will surely fall asleep to the birds chirping as you breathe in the fresh scent of the blossoming flowers all around you. The room was beautifully clean. An amazing porch and view to wake up to. Lights up like a magical forest garden at night with fireplaces to cozy up by. And the service was beyond! I called to reserve a room over the phone and it was so EASY. I felt like I had been catapulted back in time when someone answered my call, took my name and said see you in a couple of hours. Then they upgraded our room to a king once we arrived. I could go on and on. This is by far the best place I have stayed at in Sedona. read more

We had such a nice stay at the Lantern Light Inn! First we were greeted by the owners who were sweet, relatable and were able to give us great tips about what to do in the area! They gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations and also told us about some great hiking. Then we were brought back to our room, and they walk you through the most peaceful garden area, complete with soft music, fountains, lights and perfectly manicured outdoor space. And the best part is, all of the bedroom doors open right up to it! Our room was clean and peaceful. Breakfast was delivered at the time we wanted to our front door. Prices were great compared to other hotels in the area. 100% would recommend! We will be going back for sure! read more

I absolutely adored this place! I liked it so much I just had to write about it! The Lantern Light Inn is so quaint and peaceful and I loved my one night stay. Upon arrival Susan greeted me at the office and was so kind and welcoming. She took my breakfast order (they deliver a little breakfast basket right to your door!) then personally walked me to my room. The room was cozy and clean. The area around it was beautifully hung with fairy lights and lanterns, had great fountains and greenery, cool patio furniture, and overall just had a very relaxing atmosphere. It was just awesome. She is extremely professional yet personable & takes a lot of pride in her business. Lantern Light was one of my favorite things about my trip to Sedona... the property has beautiful gardens surrounding it... feels a bit like Europe. Gluten-free muffins for breakfast were delicious & filling. Bed had a pristine white comforter & sheets. Quiet, peaceful, clean & a perfect place to unwind. My fiancé and I traveled to Sedona for the first time over Memorial Day weekend. Our stay at the Lantern Light Inn could not have been more perfect! Frank was incredibly kind, and he really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and our stay was special. We really appreciated the map he gave us and the time he took to see what we were planning to do and hoped to get out of our stay. His tips and recommendations were really helpful and made our experience more authentic. The Inn itself is stunning and in the perfect location - very central to everything you'd want to do yet still quiet. It felt like you were in a little oasis. Our room was beautifully decorated, sparkling clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We loved sitting by our private fire pit in the evening. Frank also remembered that we were traveling for my fiancé's birthday, and he had the most delicious piece of cake waiting for us in our room complete with little ice creams! Such a thoughtful touch! In the beginning, I was hesitant to book here. The reviews made it seem like the rooms were abysmally small. Not so! After speaking with the new manager, Frank, and explaining what I was looking for (primarily a quiet/private room), he set me up in the Mountain View Room. This room was a beautiful and perfect size! It was a reasonable rate, too. Upon arrival, Frank was extremely friendly and helpful. He asked about our plans and had great recommendations for hiking, photo ops, and restaurant!!! All recommendations were knocked out of the park (airport/devils bridge trails, Thai spices/Elote/Mariposa, etc...)!!! I will say the breakfast of the B&B was on the lighter side... a drink, a muffin, and fruit/protein drink/Clif bar. But, to be honest, I'd rather have that than cold cereal and a stale Danish from a hotel continental breakfast. My one complaint is that I felt the water was not hot enough. Nevertheless, Frank was so incredibly helpful that I will book here again. Not only was the venue beautiful/cute, I'd gladly return for the wonderful customer service. read more

This is my favorite place to stay in Sedona. We found this place by accident as our "regular" hotel chain was sold out. So happy that it was. Clean, quaint rooms with beautiful, quiet, relaxing patio area. Great price! Managers are extremely attentive and willing to go the extra mile to make our stay perfect. The continental breakfast has a preselect menu and delivery time, which is placed in a basket on a hook outside our room. The flowers, trees and garden are gorgeous and well kept. We will never stay at a chain hotel again and plan on returning here often. This feels like home away from home. read more

My husband and I stayed here for one night during our trip through Sedona. We luckily were able to book a room last minute and were pleasantly surprised at how well run an establishment this was. The front desk attendants/owners were very hospitable and willing to accommodate just about every little request we had. We were getting in late but they gave us a courtesy call to ensure we would be able to get into our room without issue if we arrived after the office closed. The room was a bit small, but we just needed to sleep there, so it served our purposes. The bathroom was nicely decorated and very clean with a large shower. Although the building itself is older, the interior has had to have undergone a recent remodel. The bedding was in very good condition and the bed was very comfortable. It was a quiet area and we didn't hear any noise coming from nearby rooms. The surroundings were very beautiful and gave you a quaint garden feel. The breakfast they provided was delicious and it was beautiful how they placed everything into a cute little basket and hung it outside our door first thing in the morning. It was a very safe area and we were overall very happy with how close it was located to nearby attractions (specifically Devil's Bridge). Overall, we would love to come back and stay here again. If you are a couple and looking for a romantic getaway, or are traveling with a friend and want to be in a centralized location to some of the great hikes within Sedona, this is an excellent choice!
