I dropped off a pair of pants at the Bellevue location on 7-27-26. I stated on the service request that I wanted the seam in the crotch repaired because it was coming undone. I was notified that it was ready for pickup on 7-29-26. I then picked it up and paid on 7-30-26. When I got home I found that the seam had not been repaired. When I contacted the company I spoke with a female. She informed me that the does not do alterations or repairs. She tried to make it sound like it was my mistake. I then rechecked the website (and took a screenshot) and it does say that the company offers "alterations and repairs" as services. When I told her about this, the female on the phone just said that she would contact her boss to have that removed from the website. She then acted like I should just eat the loss of money. I was charged for a service that the website says they perform, but they apparently don't actually do. This may be just a mistake (but not by me), but this looks like false advertising. When I told the female that I expected a refund, she was apparently surprised. She then said that she would talk to her boss and "try" to get someone to call me back. Potential customers should not take them at their word for what services they offer going by what they have on their website. I will not be using them again. read more

Pretty disappointed with this experience. I dropped several items off to be cleaned on 1/3. During drop off, I went through any defects of my items with the employee at the counter. There was only item I dropped off that was damaged and it was a cashmere sweater with a snagged hem that I've been meaning to get repaired. The employee said she made a note of this in their system. Upon pick up on 1/6, the employee at the counter informed me that there was a stain on an expensive Burberry dress that I dropped off that they could not get out. I explained to the employee that this stain was not there when I dropped my items off and I was upset about this damage. She told me that she could would have the owners reach out to me, but I still have not heard anything from anyone regarding this issue. The stain on the dress is on the front breast pocket. It appears as if the garment was caught in something and then tugged out which left black scrapes/streaks. This dress was a milestone gift from my husband and retails for more than my rent which makes the damage done to it that much worse. I'm really saddened by this experience and hope the owners eventually reach back out to me for a resolution. I was excited to switch to Lapel's because of their eco-friendly dry cleaning method, but now I'm feeling like it is not worth the extra hassle if my garments will not be treated with care. There may be other locations to this business that are good, but I'm unsure if I would return to this one. Update; I was contacted by the owner and they were successfully able to remove the stain from my dress. When coordinating how to handle the situation, I got the impression that it was being implied that *I* was actually responsible for the stain which was very far from the truth. I received a text message from the owner later on saying they found the source of the stain within their business and that was why they were able to treat it appropriately. I love that my dress is in good condition again, but I dislike a little of the attitude that came with getting the situation resolved. I read through the reviews on Google and here and it seems like this business has a track record of providing subpar service but quickly being able to adjust and fix their errors. I have to respect the owner of this business for defending his employees. My issue was that I want my all my clothes folded so they are "travel ready" each week. Also, I hate dealing with all the hangers. It's clearly printed on my tickets to fold. Yesterday when my clothes were not folded, I expressed in rather strong terms my dissatisfaction. The store associate said this is how they fold on a hanger. I thought she was "getting smart" with me. The owner today told me that lots of their clients get clothes other than pants "folded on a hanger". That still confuses me. The owner did misinterpreted my comment about his workers not being able to read. He thought I was making a racial comment. Totally not the case. But I do see a larger issue with workers across the country turning out work that doesn't meet customer expectations. I haven't decided whether I'll go back to this business but he indicated they have grown volume tremendously and he values all his customers. He cared enough to call and talk about my issue directly with me. I'm good. read more

Please just say NO NO NO!!! Lost piece of clothing after lost piece of clothing and their response is CHECK AROUND YOUR HOUSE. Last time I was in......lost pair of pants told me they didn't have it and didn't check it in.......so check around my house. I left with the few things they gave me(not my whole order) and hmmmm somehow they found them. Gave me a 5.00 coupon but jacked up the shirt price over 1.00 a shirt so for 8 shirts paid more with the coupon. Also.........if you need your stuff before a week.......good luck and employees......both disgruntled . Please bring back the young happy college girl who was there when we first moved to Nashville!! read more
