The only thing that initially made me hesitate was that it was a home-based business. I decided to keep looking around and even visited another highly rated repair shop in the area. Before I could even ask if they could repair my controller, they immediately recommended QCQ Repair. That told me everything I needed to know. From the moment I spoke with Jose, I could tell he genuinely knew what he was doing. With over 10 years of experience, his knowledge and professionalism stood out immediately. He took the time to listen to my concerns about my controller, understood how much sentimental value it had to me, and even understood how excited I was to play the upcoming Halo Remastered. What impressed me the most was his honesty. From the very beginning, he told me there was a possibility the controller couldn't be repaired because of how Microsoft designed the Elite Series 2. He didn't make promises he couldn't keep or give me false hope. Instead, he was upfront and transparent, and I respected that more than anything. I dropped my controller off on July 3rd, right before the holiday weekend, and he was still willing to take it in. A few days later, he contacted me with great news--he had successfully repaired it. Not only does my controller work perfectly again, but he also replaced the joystick with an upgraded component to help prevent the issue from happening again. The price was more than fair considering the complexity of the repair and the cost of replacing one of these controllers. What really sets QCQ Repair apart is that Jose genuinely cares about the quality of his work and his customers. His business isn't about getting people in and out as quickly as possible--it's about doing the job right. That's exactly why his reviews are so outstanding, and now I completely understand why so many people recommend him. If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, honest, experienced, and takes pride in their work, I couldn't recommend QCQ Repair enough. I'll definitely be coming back if I ever need another repair. Thank you again, Jose. I truly appreciate bringing one of my favorite controllers back to life.

The part came in and the Owner damaged the part installing it back into my laptop. Owner said he would pay for the new part to replace the part he damaged. I tried to find out if the part came in by calling him on the phone. Neither of the phone numbers on the pick up ticket works, they are both disconnected numbers. Since I could not reach him via phone I had to visit his store many times. Twice he told me part has not arrived yet. Then, he said he would reimburse me for the price I paid for the original repair. I went to visit him there 5 times and each time he said "the money has not arrived yet." Finally, he said he would pay me with paypal. Still after 8 days no payment.

A few months back I was having a registry error on my computer and needed to have it repaired, so I…read moretook it to these guys. I spoke with Jose Ramos, who seemed computer savvy and knew what was wrong with the PC. They seemed tech knowledgeable, have a place of business established, business cards, etc. In other words, I felt it was legit. They offered to fix my computer, plus upgrade me from Windows XP to Windows 7 for $90 and have it back to me in one day. Needless to say, this did not happen. I was contacted 4 days later to pick up my "fixed" computer. When I arrived, the price had gone up an additional $30. Why??? Mr. Ramos told me that of the 2GB (2 x 1GB) of DDR2 I had installed, 1GB had failed. So he charged me $30 to install 1GB (2 x 512) and he kept the 2GB of DDR2 that had allegedly failed (I later found out that he had replaced it with really cheap DDR and not DDR2; I now question if my 2GB of DDR2 was actually bad). At the time I thought, "fine, at least I've been upgraded to windows 7". Upon getting the PC home, I noticed that Mr. Ramos had not put a Windows 7 sticker on my desktop, but thought nothing of it.....until 2 weeks later I noticed that my computer was acting funny, but was not finding viruses. I figured I needed to do Windows Update for my Anti-Virus to clean better. I attempted to do Windows Update and it would not update, then started asking me to update to a "Genuine Version" of Windows 7. After reviewing my settings, it turns out he had turned off my automatic Windows Update. Why would anyone do that??? To further make things worse, I hired another technician to look at my computer and indicated that Mr. Ramos had infact installed two (2) operating systems on my PC (XP and Windows 7), which was causing my computer to not work right. After discovering all of this, the only thing to do was to wipe everything clean and re-install Windows XP. Thanks for nothing. I'm never going back.

I have also dealt with this company before and they have done some of the same stuff to me first…read moreoff i went in there to by a certain type of computer and then they told me of all the things wrong with that type of computer and then talked me into get a different computer which was more expensive but i eventually did because i was really in need of a computer and i did not think that i would of had problem with this. But when I got home and tempted to use the computer it started to go blank and then I called to let them know the problem then I was told to bring it in and they would everything fix the problem and so I did even though I don't even stay in the city I then had to drive out to this establishment more then once being promised the same thing more the once they are not a good company at all. Then the last time I got the same problem after I was told everything was fixed for the last time I was just fed up by then and asked for a refund and I was then told ok so I go in to give them back the peice of junk that they tried to sale me for my refund which I bought with cash I was told that I would then have to take a check for my refund and then I was told I would have to wait a couple of days for my refund and im still waiting. And also on all the occassion's that i have went to this establishment I have seen more then one person coming in at a time to get work done and seeing the same people again coming in also. I recently contacted the better business bureau on this company and it is not even a recognized company so please please if you do not want a headache on your hands do not deal with this fake company.
