I made an appointment "to get it fixed" I thought! The "earliest appointment " was two days later.Took it in and was told that appointment was to have it looked at on the same day and leave it over night. Knowing I could still use my phone, I decided to make another appointment: the only availability was two days later. Ok, made that appointment; so far 4 days without a properly working phone, but WITH Geek Squad appointments!! I show up and I'm told they are going to take my phone in some secluded place and leave it with a bunch of other phones for 4 more hours!! In this day and age? I cannot believe they cannot schedule an appointment within a few days to fix a battery on a phone-unacceptable! This business is run by incompetent, inconsiderate, rude employees who have no empathy. if you have an Apple, go to the Apple Store in Victoria Gardens. We call and explain the problem with the laptop to the owner, Gilbert. He meets us at the shop, takes the laptop but doesn't pop off the back off for a 10-sec look. He hands my son a form to fill out saying that it would be $65. Luckily we pressed him on what we got for $65. FOR $65 he turns the laptop over pulls the back off (screws already removed BTW) looks at the port. Which needs to be soldered back on. The part came in and the Owner damaged the part installing it back into my laptop. Owner said he would pay for the new part to replace the part he damaged. I tried to find out if the part came in by calling him on the phone. Neither of the phone numbers on the pick up ticket works, they are both disconnected numbers. Since I could not reach him via phone I had to visit his store many times. Twice he told me part has not arrived yet. Then, he said he would reimburse me for the price I paid for the original repair. I went to visit him there 5 times and each time he said "the money has not arrived yet." Finally, he said he would pay me with paypal. Still after 8 days no payment.
