I got the 7:50pm cause the time posted was 8pm class, but apparently it would start at 8:30pm. People did their own "stretching". As soon as the class started the with choreographer begin with his first step. He gave a good class but not the usual type of classes I attend to in the Philippines. They usually start with an intro about the piece and what to focus on when doing the class which eventually came up during my class here. The technique and choreography is good. :)

This annual holiday production's is 95% children-led and we were all awestruck by all the talent show. The 65 minute production was just the right amount of time to keep everyone engaged and the small theatre meant there was not a bad seat in the house. The show used a mix of fun props to tell the story and the script was written in a way that would please even the most die-hard Madeline fan. Parking was easy-peasy (it shares a garage with Whole Foods) and we were able to purchase tickets in advance through their online portal (highly recommend, our show was completely sold out!). They offer several classes and camps throughout the year which I'm already looking at for my eldest daughter.

She had taken ballet since age 2.5 and was 4.5 when she joined Mr. Phillip's dance combo class during "bring a friend" week. She loved it and decided to sign up for a summer Hip Hop and Tumble class. At the time, the classes were all online and Mr. Phillip still managed to get to know my daughter personally and push her to grow in her dance and tumbling skills through the screen. Once things opened up post-Covid, we continued to take classes at Perfect Pointe in person. My daughter has loved dancing there and even joined one of the competition teams this year. We find that we are at the dance studio often now. But, we still find time to play soccer, do Girl Scouts, and a few other activities. The staff and families at Perfect Pointe are friendly and encouraging, the choreography and costumes are age appropriate, and the variety of dance styles and teachers keep dance interesting for the kids. You will not get a "Dance Moms" vibe from Perfect Pointe. It's been a great place for our family to experience dance in Northern Virginia.
