I love Tippe. She's the best thing that has ever happened to me. That's why I'm going to marry her. So when I wanted to get an engagement ring, we first went to some retail place in an outdoor mall. I felt very adult and suburbanite at the same time. Their ring was very expensive. So I did what every guy should... I asked my married friend for advice on a ring and he brought me to Lara's Jewelry. Coming from a family of jewelers, the owner Roger is going to take good care of you. They're right smack dab in the middle of the downtown jewelry district across the street from Pershing Square. We came in with a picture of a ring from a brochure of another retail place. That's all Roger needed. We wanted to change the ring a little bit and make it our own. Of course, with Tippe's ring size. No problem. Done. Roger loaded the ring's dimensions and shape and all into a computer program and then he prints a 3-D replica of the ring to see how it will look. Roger made some modifications and the ring came out exactly how we wanted it to look. Then he sold us a diamond that had a very good quality for a very reasonable price. All said and done, the ring came out exactly how we wanted and it was several thousands of dollars cheaper than the retail place in the mall. You won't believe how much it sparkles on Tippe's finger.
