We went around 7:00 pm and the place was packed. Luckily, there was one table available and we were seated within about 5 minutes (around 7:05 pm). The service, however, was very slow. The server came to take our order after 10 minutes, but we didn't receive water until 7:40 pm, and our food arrived around 7:50 pm about 30 minutes later. The wait time felt quite long. When you first walk in, the seafood smell is quite strong, although it does subside after about 10 minutes. I ordered the Pad Kee Mao and asked for it very spicy. It was indeed spicy, but it lacked flavor. I was surprised to see green beans in the dish, which was actually a nice touch, and it did come with a lot of vegetables. Overall, though, I don't think I'll be returning.

Limited availability desserts. As of June 12, 2026, only Bua Loy was available- rice balls with young coconut in sweet condensed milk.

Tried the Tum Talay - seafood combo papaya salad with a fermented fish sauce. Toned it down and just did 4 star spicy which still hit through most of the dish. Very nice balance of squid, shrimp, mussel, scallops and the papaya had some crunch. Appetizer was Moo Sam Chan Tod Nampla (deep fried crispy pork with tamarind chili sauce) that was so good I just forgot utensils. It's easily enough for two - three as a starter. Dessert was Bua Loy (rice balls with young coconut in sweet condensed milk) - warm and delicious! I went in pre dinner time so service was quick, friendly, and easy going. Parking behind the restaurant that is also accessible from 32nd ave NE. They had the aircon turned up for the warm weather so it was a bit cool since the place wasn't full yet. Mid to low lighting with light background music.

Larb Thai is a fantastic addition to the Seattle food scene. After hearing about it since it opened last year, we finally ordered takeout -- mainly because we'd been eager to try their duck salad. The Larb Ped did not disappoint at all: incredibly flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and with a great spice kick. We also ordered the Lao style papaya salad with salted crab and pork rinds, and the chicken pad Thai, and every dish was outstanding. The flavors were well balanced, bold, and the different textures of the ingredients played so well together. Everything had that satisfying, authentic Thai heat and depth. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the area, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. If you're looking for delicious Thai food with strong, well-balanced flavors, Larb Thai is absolutely worth checking out.

Chinese hot pot. Japanese hot pot. But have you tried Thai hot pot? I went with the seafood + meat set and everything was fantastic. The meat was perfectly tender, and the broth had this wonderful mild flavor that felt lighter and healthier than the super spicy options you usually find. It was flavorful without being overwhelming. The real star though? The sauces. Seriously addicting. I kept going back for more and it made the experience so much more interesting. Generous portions, but you might be seriously tempted by the appetizer offerings too. The interior is adorable and well-designed. Service was excellent, which doesn't surprise me since the owners also run another Thai restaurant in Roosevelt (which is also the best!!!!). I'm so proud to support such great people in the community. Will definitely be coming back!

Hubby and I wanted to try new restaurant in town for Thai. We ordered the usual Thai dishes. 1. Pad thai-- meh... it was definitely mediocre quality. 2. Pad see ew-- soft tofu was hard but noodles had nice flavor. 3. Tom yum soup-- sooooo salty I had to pour extra water in. 4. Fried egg rolls--fried nicely and was very crispy. This was only thing I liked. 5. Sticky rice-- came in a small weave basket thing but the hot rice inside was wrapped in saran wrap. We all know the harmful effects of saran wrap on hot foods. Definitely not ordering this again The server was nice but looked busy as she was the only one in the hall. Overall, I probably would not return here. It wasn't for me.

We came at 5:30 on Thursday party of 6 and were seated right away. This is what we ordered. Overall the food was good, sometimes a little oily, I would come here again to try the other foods. I would recommend coming here. There's also big parking in the back and a back entrance too GET DESSERT! The 3 ice cream plate had coconut, Thai tea, mango and jellies and the combo is delicious. I'd come back here just for this. Larb moo salad 2/5 because it was super duper oily. The herbs were good but it did come with only 1 piece of lettuce Sausage appetizer 5/5 good for a sausage had unique flavor Sausage with herb appetizer 5/5 strong lemon grass flavor good portion size Pad Thai Chicken 4/5 yummy but pretty sweet for my liking Tom yum soup 4/5 also sweet, came with a lot of shrimp which is a big plus I think we had 12 shrimp pieces. Pretty sweet Eggplant with pork 3/5 also pretty oily and more meat than eggplant Pad see ew with beef 4/5 I liked how crispy the meat was but the portion was smaller than the others

I'm so happy to see this new Thai restaurant offering nontraditional Thai dishes that actually taste good and authentic. They have a wide variety on the menu, and luckily we went with a big group so we got to try a lot. I'd say about 90% of the dishes were on point. The papaya salad was the only one that wasn't consistent. We reordered it because the first one was great, but the second didn't quite hit the mark. Portions are on the smaller side, so I'd recommend ordering two dishes per person. That said, the total cost was very reasonable. Service was great and very attentive even though they were really busy. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes.

Honestly, food was decent and would be 4.5 stars, but the service was just so bad. Our main server was fine and polite, but the other server was extremely rude. They did not serve us water and we had to ask for it, even though other tables that came after us received it. The main issue is the other server, who we tried to ask for a couple of napkins and spoon-- who just made eye contact and ignored us. The second time we tried to ask her for some water, she walked past and told us in a rude tone that she'll be back, but she never came back and we had to flag down a different waiter.

Lovely ambiance and decor, nice service, clean and delicious food. The portions were pretty good and the presentation was very pretty. I do have to mention, however, that the round dish with the hole in the middle (I'm guessing it's traditional) isn't practical, especially when it's holding ice cream that melts. The area of the restaurant also feels a bit sketchy.. but again, food is delicious and staff is super nice!

Salmon curry, pad Thai, crispy spring rolls, crab puffs

Food exceeded expectations, everything was 10/10! Service was great, server was very friendly and lively atmosphere.

Visited Larb Thai today and we'll definitely be going back! The server was incredibly sweet and engaged with us, offering her suggestions. Lots of locals were sitting in. 10:1 rule definitely applies to this restaurant. Food was so good. We all tried something we've never had before and we had no complaints. My grandmother (who lived in Thailand for 4 years) noted that it definitely hit close to home.

I've had two "not perfect" things I've experienced: once, it was spicier than what I consider 2-stars, and once there was a LOT of garlic on it; both of those are VERY small issues, and out of the hundred times I've had their food, it's nothing. - Take out is fast - perfect for last-minute dinner decisions on the way home. - The staff is lovely. It's family-owned, and they ALWAYS have a smile on their faces. (They're also often dressed like they run an ad agency for a fashion house - it's always fun to see what style they're rocking that day!) - It's not a fancy place - don't expect a glamorous dining room; it's simple, "down-home" style, which is perfect because you can go-as-you-are - comfortable, casual, relaxed. I can't recommend them enough - I hope they never close! Enjoy some amazing Thai food - and support a small business as a bonus!

My oh my, what a feast and we brought home as much as we ate! I would say the winners were the beef and onion dumplings and the green beans (OMG I could have just ordered these and made a meal of them!)-- but other stand outs were the shumai, and the orange chicken. I think you can skip the oil sticks, (kind of bread like with out a lot of flavor), and would go with the hunan noodles instead of the chow main. The fried pork buns were doughy with out very much meat inside. All in all, a great place. Will definitely go back! I hadn't eaten here In years and my wife never. They used to give a nice refreshing lychee water drink with a long dessert spoon for the fruit which I remember loving long ago. Many other tables had them but we were never offered it as service was brisk yet not very friendly. I ordered a Dac Biet pho (my regular choice) but they don't have tripe??? I usually pass on pho restaurants that don't serve tripe and tendon. I was at best average but honestly not near the best I've ever had in the US or Vietnam. At almost $20 for a bowl I wasn't impressed enough to say "let's go back". My wife ordered the pork vermicelli bowl (her usual). She liked it ok and I tried a bit. Again pretty tasty and in my opinion a better dish than their pho, but not worthy of returning over other choices. Overall if you are comfortable parking in a tight little parking lot to eat average food in a little old building it's not a bad choice.
