I stopped in here for a late lunch. I do a lot of recreational riding along the North Interurban trail - this place is only a block or two from the trail, but is not really visible from either the trail or Aurora Avenue. I tried the Phad See Yew (beef) - the portion size was more than generous, and it was delicious. The dining room was cozy, but it was a glorious day so I chose to eat on the patio. Service was welcoming and casual - which suits me just fine. In short, a solid family Thai restaurant with great food and large portion sizes. Looking forward to a return visit with my wife on our next ride. Worth seeking out. read more

My friend and I stopped here mid-bike ride for dinner. We were quickly greeted by staff and sat at a table outside--our request. We could look over a nice, calm parking lot while we ate. I got the Thai fried rice with chicken and we split the larb gai salad. The fried rice was delicious and seasoned expertly. The texture was also perfect (not mushy and not dry). The Homie was feeling run down and craving Tom Kha soup, so we decided to checkout Yum Yum Thai, off of Hwy 99 and 160th (8/8/25). It shares a parking lot with Domino's Pizza and US BioTek Laboratories. Smallish restaurant with rickety stairs, variety of merch right at the entrance, and some indoor seating. I liked the miniatures at each window sill. Since it was coming up on the last hour of service, staff was chilling at nearby tables or having lively convos by the register. The Homie got his Tom Kha and Thai Rose Tea and I opted for the crab rangoon. Not much in the way of customer service once the two items were brought out. Ordered takeaway of the chicken pad Thai and mango sticky rice. Services fast, both dishes were delicious! The chicken pad thai, great balance of flavor not too sweet like others I've had. Noodles weren't gummy or over cooked. Delicious! The mango sticky rice had just the right amount of sweetness and the mango was tender and full of flavor. Portions were big! Was craving Pad Thai, so my bf brought me here, since we were in the area. He'd been here before, and really liked it. So, I ordered the Pad Thai, but also really wanted to try the Kee Mao Fried Rice. My bf got the Yum Yum Garlic with beef. I got the Pad Thai and fried rice both 5 stars, but I tasted no spiciness at all. I asked for the spice rack, but didn't have the chili peppers in fish sauce that I was hoping for. I used the red chili flakes, but that wasn't spicy at all. All the food was still tasty, but I couldn't enjoy it all the way without it being at least a bit spicy. But I'm glad I had leftovers to add my own hot sauce to at home. We also ordered the Thai Tea with lime juice instead of cream and Thai Tea Slushy, which you don't see often; both good. Such a weird location and small building. But I think it adds charm. Pad Thai portion was huge and the noodles looked so light colored, I was a bit scared there would be a lack of flavor. Pleasantly surprised there was good flavor. The sauce however kind of pooled to the bottom of the container so I recommend placing in larger bowl and stirring it before eating, if you're able. Very large portion size & very decent price at a little over $14 after tax. It shares a parking lot with a business building but plenty of parking. It's a small restaurant and so there aren't a lot of tables. But it's very cozy! There were a few parties when we showed up at 6pm for dinner but we were still seated immediately. I had dinner here November 30, 2024, along with three friends. Our waitress was friendly, but spoke very little English, which made for difficulty in getting questions answered. It also took a while to get our order, despite the fact that there was only one other table with people. There were a couple of people that came in for takeout while we were dining, but that was it. The ambience is colorful, creative, and fun. The food for the most part was good. We got Phad See Iew & Massaman curry, which were both very tasty. By the way, we asked for only one star on the curry, and this is the first Thai restaurant I've been to where one star was almost not enough. It was extremely mild, a bit too mild. If I were to go back, I would order it with two stars . However, my friend's Tom Kah soup was, according to her, not very flavorful. She was not very happy with it. Towards the end of our meal, we noticed the staff was doing a lot of cleaning, and we started to feel as if they wanted us to leave. It was about 8:20 and I had checked before we arrived to see that they were supposed to close at 9 o'clock. That's what it said on Yelp, and indeed, as we left the restaurant I looked back and there was a sign that said it was open till 9 o'clock, every day. The staff had insisted that closing time was 8:30. So our dinner ended on a very rushed note, which was unfortunate, as this was a reunion of friends that doesn't happen very often. If this had been the middle of summer, we could probably have chatted outside by our cars, but as it was November, it was quite cold, and we were eager to get in our cars, just for the sake of warmth! Note: there is plenty of parking. -I might give this place another chance if I happen to be in the Shoreline area. However, all things considered, I think it's more likely that I would check to see if there's another Thai restaurant that might be a better choice overall. read more

I usually come here out of convenience. I've only gotten take out from Yum Yum and ordered by phone and online before. If you order online, they send emails communicating when the order is ready. They're always fast and pretty quick, but I usually only order 2-3 items anyway. My go to items are the Chinese sausage fried rice and the yellow curry. The fried rice has a lot of my favorite fried rice ingredients, but the last time I started to get sick of the Chinese sausage taste. I like that the yellow curry comes with a tiny cucumber salad on the side (of course wish there was more). Probably because there's not much to the yellow curry - just meat, potatoes, and onions. They allow you to customize the spiciness of every dish, and even when I picked 1-2 stars, I could taste just the right amount of spiciness in a good way. read more
