This review is a little late so it's been a few weeks now but I went here after craving pho but not wanting to go too far. I finally decided to give this spot a try after driving by so many times. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and invited to sit wherever I wanted. I was content with the spacious interior filled with plants and art. It seems like usually you order through a QR code but they actually gave me a physical menu and took my order! I decided to go with some good ol' fashioned brisket pho. The service is really great. Super friendly and welcoming. Parking in the back is great and easy to access. I got the beef brisket pho in a large and unfortunately it did not meet my expectetions. I went close to opening but the broth was very watery and lacked depth or flavor. The noodles were overcooked and the meat fell apart in the bowl. This has everything I want in a pho spot: close to me, friendly staff, fast service, and most importantly - great pho! Came here with my partner Tuesday evening. We were seated immediately and ordered a few minutes later. The food came out fast and was excellent. I really liked the broth here and the dish really hit the spot. The worst Tofu banh mi and viet I've coffee! The bread was stale and not even toasted and it came wrapped in bag and so it was soggy by the time I got home . Which we don't live far and wanted to try a new place and instantly regretted it .. the viet coffee was premade in a one of those jelly canisters they re-used canister to put the already made viet coffee! Like what ?!? . Not authentic drip viet coffee I was thinking! I should've asked but I thought I. Came in somewhere authentic . Something has gone terribly wrong at this restaurant. Maybe they changed owners, but it has all the impressions of a business that has thrown in the towel and is trying to squeeze as large of a margin as possible out of the bare minimum effort, and frankly that minimum effort isn't even cutting it. First, the spring rolls: they actually tasted pretty good but it was $6.50 for just two. Even the plating they served it on looked like half of it is missing. This kind of pricing is so lopsided it's insulting. The pho came in a large portion with a lot of noodles. The broth was fairly bland and thin but this could be fixed with some hoisin or fish sauce. The big issue here is the meat. Even as thinly sliced as it was, it was so tough it could not be bitten through. This was true for both the brisket, which should fall apart in your mouth, and the rare steak. I should not need a knife to cut through beef a quarter of an inch thick. Because the meat is so tough I got indigestion and stomach aches after; I would say it's beyond unenjoyable and in straight up inedible territory in this state. There's some other random details that wouldn't bother me in a normal dining experience but just further sour my mood against this joint given how my food was served. They don't give you fresh basil with your bean sprouts like they used to anymore. It's not a big deal but presumably this was done to save a few bucks here and there and just reinforces an impression of being lazy and apathetic about their food. There's a 3% credit card surcharge they don't tell you about that got stacked onto my bill, which was insult to injury given my experience and totally undeserved. I used to enjoy this place as it's conveniently close to where I live, but unless i see evidence of drastic change here I won't be coming back and I suggest you do the same to spare both your wallet and your stomach. read more

An unassuming spot in Lake City, this place is spacious on the inside and decorated beautifully with no shortage of personality and Vietnamese vibrancy. The pho is pretty standard though sweeter than normal. Everything tastes a bit muted but will hit the spot but I'd still recommend it simply because the prices are really really good and the people working there were very sweet. This is a hard town to compete in the pho business but this place is queen when it comes to price! read more

I come here often, and the food is great. I had to give a 1 star review because the staff that was working there was a bit too "hostile." Even though I was covering my face because I lost my mask - was with friends with masks - he looked at me in a very disgusted look and said some inaudible things to me and said I couldn't come in without a mask. Clearly, he wasn't worried about covid-19 exposure, because there were at least 6 parties eating in or waiting without masks with many staring at the worker: he wanted to pick on me for some reason. I've been to Pho An a few times & most of the food I had was pretty good. Prices are reasonable. Here's a breakdown of food I've tried there (I use ^ to indicate a half-star and * for a full star. So, ***^ means 3.5 stars): ****^ The noodle bowl (bun) with pork, egg roll & shrimp was tasty & good. The grilled pork was tasty. It needs more fresh herbs & more of the sweet, tangy sauce for the noodles though. ***^ Banh Mi was solid. ** The Grilled Grounded Pork no Skewers was so-so & not great. Average tasting pho. The online QR code ordering system needs work. Prices are not accurate on there. Also there were only a couple other tables in front of us but it took a very long time to get our food. Usually pho comes quickly. They also don't have chili oil which is disappointing. Not sure what happened, I haven't had a good experience since they started jawing the app. Last time it wasn't working on my phone, my boyfriend placed my order and they still forgot half my food. This is my go-to for pho in North Seattle ever since Pho Binh turned into Green Papaya. I'd agree with people that said the broth isn't as flavorful as places like Thanh brothers, but you can tell they use a lot less seasonings and this probably is healthier for you. Fair prices and nice portions. I usually get the steak pho and an order of summer rolls which are very filling. I have ordered takeout pho and banh mi too and their sandwiches are delicious. It's more like the Seatac Airport...so probably 8 hours drive if you're stuck in traffic. But totally worth it! Their coffee is made with the real deal drip style. Not that instant trash. The meats & veggies are very fresh for their Pho soups. We also ordered the chicken fried rice which we felt was small in portion size but BIG on taste. All in all this restaurant is delicious, service is very professional and dining room is always clean. Parking can be a challenge. Cody and I stopped in here Monday night. I was coming from Magnolia and he was coming from Lynnwood, so it was kinda in between for us. Parking wasn't hard, but it was street parking. We both parked right in front. We ordered: - fish ball app - BBQ pork spring rolls - large bowl of pho with rare steak, tendon, and meatball - vermicelli bowl I enjoyed the fish ball app and the spring rolls. Both were pretty good. I was kinda disappointed with my pho. The broth was very bland. I even added salt to it, and it didn't really help. The tendon, steak, and meatball were plentiful though and good. But I just wished the broth had more flavor. Even Cody tried it and said the same thing. I live in seattle, I came here because I'll be working in the area for the next few months and was in the mood for Pho. I'll start with the good, greeted immediately with a friendly hello and was told to find a seat, the place was clean and service was good. The not so good, I have never been to a Pho restaurant in seattle for did not offer chili oil, I asked for it and was told they do have that here. I live spicy food and have never had Pho without chili oil until I came here. I didn't really like it. I was hungry so I ate it. Finally when it was time to pay I was charged $17.99 for a large Pho. EDIT: funny thing is I have two broken fingers, one hand with cast on after surgery, the other hand has a fractured finger, and the guy still insist on me scanning the QR code. They would get in a lot of trouble if I report them to the city for not providing some form of help, it's technically part of the disability act and they could be fined. Didn't understand what banh mi is when i told the guy in Vietnamese. Told him sandwich and he rudely asked what type of meat. I asked him what are the options and he pointed at the QR code and walked away, is it so hard to just tell me? Also where are the paper menu? what kind of restaurant doesn't have paper menus? i had to stand there looking through the menu on my phone to find banh mi and the options, why not just tell me.
