Well here is one more reason to be careful before using Holman Plumbing. The owner now has text me saying that he is going to put a lien on my house if I don't take down the first yelp review I did last week. The one telling you how I called Holman Plumbing to put in a sink and they broke my granite countertop. It cost me $2,800. to replace it and he would only pay $1,000. and my countertop was in perfect condition. Everyone please be careful picking out your plumber. I would be more than happy to show you all the texts he has sent me that in my opinion are very threatening and aggressive. They don't make that granite type any longer so I had to do the whole counter. I couldn't afford to replace it with granite so I had to go with a cheaper countertop that which wasn't cheap! read more

Holman Plumbing is PHENOMENAL!! They take customer service to a whole new superb level. They are the example of how client interactions should happen! I had a clogged shower and called to make an appointment for someone to look at it. Justin the owner called me back within 10 minutes and scheduled one of his guys to come out a couple days later. A few hours before the plumber was to arrive Justin called and asked if his guy Gerry could show up early as he was ahead of schedule. Obviously the answer was yes. When Gerry got there he was professional, enthusiastic and incredibly thorough. The entire job took about a 1/2 hour to complete and when he left, he cleaned up everything and made it look brand new. There was no mess, no muss & no fuss. Gerry carried all his tools in a backpack and did not drag a nasty poo covered blanket through the house that every other plumber seems to have. We have an unknown leak coming from upstairs leaking in to our kitchen. The plumber (Alex) was on time and courteous. He explained in advance every step. Jason and crew performed 2 separate jobs for me and both were done well. They arrive on time and perform professional work. The first was to repair a leak from the street to my house. They had to dig up more than anyone expected to find the leak and in the process discovered another issue that would potentially break. My water heater needed to be replaced. I called three plumbers. The first offered me an appointment a month out. The second one was Jason Holman. "Water heater? We'll be there tomorrow!" Jason went out of his way to minimize the time we were without hot water. I wanted the most energy-efficient electric option (I have solar). Jason talked me through the pros and cons of all the different options. When my electrician came out to install the outlet and had questions, I called Jason and just handed the phone to the electrician and Jason told him exactly what he needed. There was an exhaust conduit in the way of where the water heater would go, so Jason and his crew built a stand for the heater so it would fit over the conduit. Now we think of him gratefully every time we step in the shower. The crew stayed masked up even though they were in the garage with the door open. As always, the work area was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. Oh, and that third plumber? He didn't even call me back until several days after Jason completed the work. read more

Justin, the owner, originally came out to my house (on a weekend!) right after we purchased it. We had one of our showers draining slowly. He brought out his drain snake and started to clear it out. Something wasn't going right and he immediately jumped under my house (not fun) to check it out. He said that the existing drain line over to the shower was rattling and looks like it wasn't connected for years (yay us!). Justin provided us with some options to either get by temporarily or permanently fix the problem. We opted to temporarily fix it and then permanently fix it later when do our remodel. He was perfectly happy to perform the cheaper option (not trying to up-sell up or pressure us to do something that would make more money for him). Now it's a couple of months later and we invited Justin back over to look at the rest of the drainage system of our house for our remodel. He thoroughly crawled my nasty crawlspace and then talked to us about all of the options that he thought were possible for either modifying the existing sewer pipes, or completely re-piping the sewer pipes. He was very thorough and explained all of the Pros and cons of each decision along with providing estimates for the costs of each option. We were able to talk it all through with Justin and decided to have him completely replace the old cast iron pipes for the drainage/sewage system and the existing copper water lines (with 50/50 lead solder) all at once. It seemed to be the best value overall and would provide us with a long term solution that fit our current and future needs. Justin's attention to detail impressed us a lot. He was very careful to always wear shoe booties when working in our home. He cleaned up his work area every day too! He thinks about a lot of little things like keeping water risers as copper and only running the PEX tubing in the crawlspace because it's easier to manage in the future. We loved the amount of communication that Justin had with us. We felt well-informed the entire time! We were really impressed with the work provided by Holman Plumbing. It was a great value... Especially seeing how hard Justin had worked on our home. He always had a smile on his face and a positive attitude. He was nice to not only myself but to my entire family.
