We had a major backup in our main bathroom. Sewage backed up into the shower. I called Slaughter Plumbing and Sharon sent Cody and Zack right out. They ran the snake down the stack and cleared the blockage. The next day Jamie came out and ran the camera through the sewer line up to the the Main bath, which showed how bad the cast iron drain pipes were. Today Slaughter sent Eric over with a power aqua jet to blow out the corrosion in the sewer lines of my house. It's a great feeling to have your pipes cleaned. Now we won't have to worry about any more mess from the backups. I can't say enough great things about the entire team, from Paul on down, at Slaughter Plumbing! We had a blockage at our house and Zach came out within a few hours to get us cleared quickly before adding a clean out to make any future problems quicker to address. He was done quickly and we couldn't be happier. We have used Slaughter many times in the past and will continue to do so. While reading other reviews it became clear someone didn't understand their bill and left an unfair review in return. Getting a bill for 296 for "30 minutes" does not mean they charge $500 an hour. The woman in the office explained they have a set price on stoppages for the first hour to cover the machine and manpower etc. Whether it takes them 5 minutes or an hour it's the same price. They came and fixed the issue but sadly when they did they caused a new issue to happen. I called and they came back out and were going to charge me $300 more to fix their new made issue that wasn't there before they did a repair ..... Anyways after he stopped telling me it would be a new fee twice what the original was to fix an issue he caused he ended up spending 30 seconds and plunging the sink. The air pressure was never pushed thru and due to our sink design he needed to do that after doing the repair. I mentioned it the day prior but he didn't do anything but listen however didn't plunge it. Anyways as soon as he walks out it's not fixed so I went after him. After a few days he came back out and the above happened where they told me it'd be a $350+ charge to fix etc etc. After discussing how the issue wasn't even there before he came and saying I wouldn't pay that or the first bill if not fixed he took a plunger and fixed the stoppage in literally 30 seconds So anyways. Fixed the leak. Created another issue. Wanted $380 to fix it before arguing then he fixed it in 30 seconds instead. Overall I wasn't even going to leave a review because the issues solved now but why I decided to in the end was the same job was quoted by a competitor for $93 and when they arrived I didn't know they were a new company. So their pricing is almost 2x what the other place quoted me, and we had some issues. So take my review as you will. Thanks! read more

I scheduled an appointment to have an estimate done on a total re-pipe hot and cold water of my house. This is a huge job. The teck showed up on time didn't even bother to go in the house- he spent literally five minutes on the property -asked for my email address and said he would send the quote. Ridiculous. He never sent the quote. I know for a fact this is a $10,000 job that they missed out on. I wanted to go local but they did not respond or even investigate how to re-pipe this particular property. I had Slaughter Plumbing doing a work in my place contracted by my management office where I live. They replaced a pipe inside the wall which was the condominium's responsibility to do. In the process of doing the work, they damaged my tub (chipping a piece of it). They also replace a pipe in my kitchen(71" pipe) which they used a zip tie to secure it instead of using a bracket. The pipe tied where I shut off the water under the sink. I called the company and spoke with the Paul owner/manager. I explained to him what happened. He told me to send picture and he would get back to me. I called a few time because I never heard from him. The receptionist took my messages but he did not returned my call. Checked around the house Sunday morning and found an outdoor pipe leak - called the answering service Sunday afternoon, and Jamie was out within thirty minutes. Horrible- customer service- Called them April 2nd to come clear a back up for me. The Service tech charged me $101 and did not clear any line but told me it must be a temporary city blockage that has cleared. Called today because the same thing has happened. And the same service tech told me he was installing water heaters today (Sunday) and unable to get to me for 8 hours. On top of that he told me there service call would be $350 not including any work completed. I have never felt so taken advantage of by a company before. I called this company and asked them if they could send someone out to check a leaky faucet on my tub. They are very close to where I live. I met the plumber at my home and showed him my tub. He said he would try to fix it but most often they have to replace the entire assembly costing $650. Of course he couldn't get the screw out and told me I would have to have my shower wall cut up. The guy was playing his rap music with vulgar lyrics as he assessed my situation on his cell phone. I felt very uncomfortable having him fix anything. I told him I could not do that right now and would have to call him back because I needed to go back to work. He was there less than 15 minutes. Did nothing but make my problem worse and handed me a bill for $101.00 . I was livid. I called their office and asked about the charges and said, "you never told me about any charges for doing nothing." The secretary said, "You didn't ask." I was appalled!! Who says that? I feel robbed! My problem is worse now and I am out $100 for nothing. This company did not inform me of these charges and their plumber was not professional. There are many companies to choose from. I am not sure if my first review on Yelp posted, so I am going to write a 2nd one. That is how grateful I am to Neph and the guys at Slaughter for helping me repair a horrific remodeling job. Neph was quick, thorough, professional and above all affordable. I had the exact same job priced out by another locally owned company (Beware!) and they quoted me 5k as a low ball estimate. Neph brought the entire drain/ plumbing system to code for $535. In other words I was preyed upon by this other company, but Slaughter was honest and forthright. I was given $20. off my bill of $785. for a 40 gallon tank. Te manager, Paul, failed to call me back after a promise to do so. He left it to his workers to notify me of this fact. I have used this company for the last 15 years, I have always found them fair and reasonable until recently. Beware of their mark up practices on parts. I honestly think the service person charges whatever they want. For example I was charged 180 dollars for 1 1/2 hrs labor and for a service call. No problem, but then I was charged 120 dollars for 4 shut off valves, 3 sleeves and 1 90 degree elbow. My jaw hit the floor. I expected a healthy mark up, but not at this level. These shut off valves are 8.95 at Home Depot. Lesson learned, I'll buy my own parts next time or I'll shop around for a more reasonable plumbing company when it comes to pricing practices. read more

Do not hire this plumbing company because they are incompetent. I hired them to install the shower, toilet and faucet in my new bathroom and they did such a bad job. It was like they do not know how to do plumbing. The shower valve was place so high that the shower head could not fit because it was right up to the ceiling. They had to remove my new marble tiles to lower it. The faucet handles spins around and the hot and cold water from the shower was put in reverse. See why I highly advise not to hire them. I can go on about their lack of communication, poor customer services and so forth but I think you see the picture. read more
