I used to really enjoy LaRosa's. The multiple increases within very brief periods and continual increases in delivery charges are putting a bad taste in my mouth. I recently ordered a meatball hoagie which I haven't in several years. I was so disappointed to pay over $8.00 for something that resembled a half of a hoagie with only 3 small meatballs. This isn't the LaRosa's that I grew to love and enjoy. I'll be checking out other pizza restaurants in the future. LaRosa has become beyond greedy! read more

Stopped here with my family after a visit to the Cincy Zoo. We were seated immediately, and our server came and took our drink orders. I told her that I tend to drink a lot, so she was nice enough to bring me two glasses of water straight from the get-go. I ordered the five boneless wings with some sort of garlic/cheese mixture. I forget exactly what it was. I also went ahead and ordered the smashed cannoli (who would have thought that was a thing?) ahead of time as none of my other family members were going to have any interest in dessert due to the sizes of their meals. The wings were pretty good. Super garlicky. I was reliving that all day long. *belch* But that's what garlic does to me. TMI? Perhaps. Continuing on... That smashed cannoli was really creamy. Loved the creamy part. The "shell" pieces that they put on the side were pretty flimsy and not like a traditional cannoli shell at all. They fell apart whenever I would try to dip them in that nummy cream. Boo. But the cream was so good that I really didn't care. I will soon be trying some of their frozen lasagna. How? I bought some at Jungle Jim's. Sheesh. That stuff is pricey, but I hear it's well worth the money. read more

My wife and I dined in this afternoon. Food was delicious as always however the service left a lot to be desired. We were the only people in the dining room and we had to ask for our drinks that the waitress forgot to bring out and then we had to walk to the kitchen to find someone so we could get to go containers. I recently visited this store and I wasn't unpleasantly surprised at the service. I was picking up and order for my sister, pretty easy transaction. A white gentle walked in after me and was greeted, serviced and when on his way! I had to walk up to the desk to be serviced and I greeted one of the ladies behind the desk and was completely ignored. Stood there for a couple seconds and the other woman who was also there had to tell her to "help him" and she looked at her as if she said something wrong or was disturbing her. I was helped with a very dry and quick service. None the less the service was completely unnecessary and insensitive and I most likely won't go back to this location. read more

Had to wait another 20 mins after being told "it'll be out in 5" had to ask 3 times about it until the hostess actually brought it out to us. Out of all the locations around, this one is by far the best. The dining room is, by comparison, a tad smaller than say Kenwood or Blue Ash, but the service and food outshines the others by miles. The service is always quick, wonderful and pleasant. Whether we take out or dine in, we've never had any bad experiences. For example, on a take out order I got breadsticks but requested garlic butter as opposed to marinara sauce. I also asked for an extra side of this as my family is picky about double dipping. I checked the box and there wasnt any garlic butter, so I just asked the person helping me prior if I could get 2 sides of the garlic butter. Brad was the one helping me and offered me a third side, no charge, for them missing the mark on that. What a nice offer! The most amazing experience, though, must have been when we interacted with Teresa. She is a manager, I think maybe the head manager because she is very professional and made sure we left happy. Our pizza was made incorrectly, but we wouldn't have even known if she hadn't personally come out to our table to let us know. For me, honesty is the best policy and her letting us know this, and that they would be remaking the pizza and giving us a discount for the longer wait time, made it easy for us to simply continue to nibble on our appetizers and catch up while we waited! Well we are out of Townes and never heard of LaRosa's till we've been driving around and see them everywhere so decided to try. The restaurant was clean very nice staff. We ordered the mozzarella sticks the breading wasn't great and the ranch we asked for not a fan of. But holy cow and biscuit eater the pizza was amazing really AMAZING! We got the zesty BBQ Chicken pizza minus the Jalapeños it was so good. And our son got the double pepp and he couldn't get enough. Would go back lot more times but don't have these where we live! read more

I've eaten their food twice. Once I picked up a pizza and the other time the delivered food to my hotel. The pizza was ready as promised. Toppings were quality and adequate. Value for the pizza was fair. The crust did not reheat well. Overall the pizza was great & I'd take one from these guys over the "Big 3." The delivery experience was wonderful! I called in before they opened and the guy knocked on my door at 10:30am (this is when the store opens!) Obviously they fire up the kitchen early. Everything was piping hot! I had the lasagna, philly cheesesteak, and wings. Lasagna had very poor flavor and I would not recommend it. Wings were great, although small in size. The cheesesteak was excellent! I'd definitely try their other hoagies! Overall, great service, great pizza, and great hoagies! I'll definitely eat here again. read more

I ordered delivery around 9pm on a weekday (they are open past 9pm which is a positive for them). Waited on the phone for about 5 minutes for someone to take the order. They were very polite on the phone and helpful once I was talking to someone. Delivery stated at 30-40min and while I didn't look at the exact time it was under 30min for the delivery. Chicken garlic pizza and philly steak calzone. I guess I'd describe it as "safe". If you want a pizza that won't guilt you while you eat it, this is it. If you want a pizza that will neurologically punch you in the face with super bold flavors, this isn't it. Biggest gripe is they skimped on the protein, hard on the pizza. 3-4 pieces of my pizza had either no chicken or one tiny nibble. Calzone is about equal crust to filling. I would eat this and not complain if given to me. Average enough I may try other items on the menu if hungry past 9pm again! read more

Every Sharonville event, it seems like LaRosas is there donating pizza, sponsoring a nonprofit or helping a little league team. That deserves more than five stars, the pizza is super good (I'm impartial to the bbq chicken pizza and chocolate chip cookies, which are divine!) and the service is friendly and prompt. This location isn't horrible. Just a pain sometimes with the traffic, as traffic comeing from the left doesn't stop ever. There's a little front section if you have a large group of people. We had 8 of us plus a baby, and they brought out a car seat carrier without us even having to ask. The server was attentive and had refills before we even had to ask. I'm not a huge LaRosa's fan. I don't get it. It's a sweet sauce, but this location did a great job with a lot of people in our group. One personal pizza was screwed up and a duplicate of what someone else ordered, But she offered to fix it right away but the hubby didn't mind, since he liked that type of pizza too. We were getting free pizza's thanks to the Reds strikeouts the night before, but the waitress was great and acted like we were ordering hundreds of dollars worth of food. We always get carry out from LaRosa's when we head south on vacation. My son absolutely loves their calzones! I sampled their chicken fingers which were obviously freshly prepared and pretty great (and I never eat chicken fingers). LaRosa's is very allergy friendly which is greatly appreciated. Recently ordered carry out consisting of 10 bone-in wings and fries. After having a poor experience with the same items once before, I decided to give them another shot. Unfortunately, my second experience was as bad as the first. At 1.00/per wing I would have hoped the food quality would be above average. Please don't take this as hostile, but, LaRosa's uses the smallest, rattiest wings I've ever seen. With all the restaurants they have, you'd think the buying power would allow them to offer the customer a higher quality product with some meat on the bone. Needless to say, unless it's a tremendous pizza or calzone special, I will probably not consider LaRosa's in the future. read more

Fine location. Good amount of seating and friendly service. We had wings and two 8" pies. They cooked the wings well done as we asked, and they were very crispy outside and still juicy inside. Quite good. We had the sausage, pepper, and onion triple and double pepperoni pizzas with focaccia sauce. They are heavy with the cheese and light on the sauce. I had to dab the grease off with a napkin. The waitress was kind enough to give us an extra side of tomato sauce for dipping. It did taste fresh, but if you like sauce definitely ask for extra. read more

Where to begin... It was just your average Tuesday night, my family and I were leaving Kings Island when we began discussing dinner ideas. We decided upon La Rosa's and selected this location as it was right on our way home. When we walked in the restaurant was not very busy, it was a quarter till 7 and the restaurant looked like it had just had the craziest dinner rush ever. Workers were practically running back and fourth cleaning etc. That's odd. We were sat immediately, which only made the 10 minute wait for initial contact with our waiter even more maddening. (we had been outside all day, we needed water.) She continued throughout or meal to joke and chat extensively with the lady and young boy at the table next to us. When the waitress took our order I made a joke about being fancy and wanting Lemon with our waters. The waitress joked back about how good that is with sugar and says she will get plenty of lemons for us. We also ordered appetizers and a kids meal. The drinks were surprisingly filled quickly with zero lemons! We asked when she came back and she obliged after what felt like another 10 minutes. When she FINALLY came back she was ready to take our order. We asked a few questions and then made the final call. La Fucaccia! We ordered this and two orders of fries. My wife had a request of tomato junks on it. in what had to be 40 minutes we sat and snacked on our appetizers. The pizza arrived loaded with Swine. I do not eat any type of red meat so this was a surprise. My wife and I are considerate people, so we told the waitress everything looked great and then sat in discussion about whether or not we should say something. I considered the price of the food and how I'm sure the employees wouldn't be too upset if they got a meat lovers pizza because it was made my accident we decided to let the server know. She was VERY apologetic but then asked us if we were okay keeping it or if they needed to make us a whole new pizza. I said "Well I guess I can just pick all the stuff off..." I'm pretty sure after being without pork for 2 years I would destroy every toilet on the way home if I caved and ate this pizza. After a few more exchanges similar in awkwardness she conceived and asked us to clarify our order. We ordered the same thing, but were sure to clarify, the Fucaccia is a pizza with garlic tomato sauce, 4 types of cheese and oregano. THAT IS IT. You then have the option to have a meat version or a veggie version if you decide. WE DIDN'T. I told her just wanted the sauce, the cheese and tomato. She took the wrong pizza off our table without offering it, which to me felt rude and certainly pointed to the feeling that the waitress was gonna be in a lot of trouble for messing up our order with her boss or she was gonna have to pay for it. Either way she walked away really upset. She came back often to apologize for the wait but she never offered to refill our cups or anything, so had to repeatedly ask. Also in this time I ordered their dessert sticks. Finally in what had been 45 minutes (At this point I was so frustrated I actually looked at my watch when we reordered and when the pizza finally arrived) the waitress brought out a pizza covered in spinach, olives and mushrooms. Now I am not a picky man; but red meat, most fish, olives and mushrooms are food I cannot eat! At this point we had been there well over 2 hours, had asked the waitress to correct our orders twice (the lemons and the pizza) and each time she seemed increasingly put out. We just took the pizza to go, someone would eat this pizza, we had a 2 hour drive ahead of us, it was after 9 and I was not going to be nice if I had to wait again. When the waitress brought us our check I couldn't believe that the dessert sticks weren't on it. Obviously she hadn't put them in, and I couldn't wait for God knows how long for them to cook them now. We also had to pay for the pizza. Now, had I gotten the pizza I wanted I would have understood paying for it, but paying 40 bucks to snack on my child's kids meal and a basket of fries and a pizza that is now simply a reminder of me not being manly enough to ask her to correct the order again and paying full price for a pizza to sit in her fridge. Needless to say I wouldn't even wish this experience on the person that cut me off yesterday, I hope to never replicate this experience. read more

So, I have been here numerous times for lunch during my workweek. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is the best that LaRosa's has to offer. Today, I had the Buddy Royal hoagie with fries. The best thing for me is how they do not over-toast the bun. It has a slight crunch while still maintaining that dough-like quality. The fries are surprisingly good. Ate here recently-the food was just ok.My meal came to a little over $10.00, and I was given one small breadstick with the meal. When I requested an additional breadstick I was charged another $1.08.
