First time here today! Small parking lot facing Towne on 2nd St. Two spacious rooms for seating inside. Two large TV screens muted. Loud Mexican music (almost too loud for talking in the main room). Order and pay on a tap screen--vast menu with entrees and drinks. They'll bring your food to your table if it's not crowded like this afternoon (otherwise they probably call your name to pick up your order). Generous portions come out piping hot. I ordered the pozole and my husband ordered the birria de res plate. We enjoyed our food and had about 1/3 left to take home. This is a small Mexican food shop serving tasty meals of generous portions, at reasonable prices. The service staff was friendly, helpful, and the kitchen got our orders out quickly, especially during a work-day lunch visit. They offer "daily specials", as well as fresh, natural juices. One downside is that they have a very small parking lot. Literally tight spaces and a very narrow drive aisle, so this can be tricky when you get a couple of big pickup trucks in there. NOTE: There is a "Low Health Score Alert: C" on the Yelp page, but we were there two weeks ago and everything was clean, looked good, and tasted fine. Cute little spot in Pomona. It's homey and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is also great, I recommend their birria or al pastor it was soooo flavorful and good. On top of the fact that the food is delicious it is also very affordable. Nothing beats affordability and flavor. They also have aguas frescas and have days such as "mulita monday" where mulitas are cheaper which I think is cool. This place has an A rating again and it's posted at the restaurant. So please disregard the C rating and don't be afraid to go to Las Chicas Fresas. We were craving soup and ordered pozole to go because of the cold, rainy weather. The pozole came with all the toppings - cilantro, onion, radish, lemon, and salsa. It was a good portion and we even had leftovers cause we were so full. The soup was so flavorful. The pork was tender and delicious. I saw that they had menudo all day so I came here with my mom to try their soup. Their menudo ($16) came with pata and a good amount of hominy. Broth was saltier than other places though. We also got a tray of tacos to share- asada, chorizo, and pastor to try. Everything was served on a cutting board with a pile of chopped cilantro and onions on the side. The tacos were good, seasoned well, oily and a good portion size. They have a good selection of agua fresca, I got their cucumber with chia and melon juice. My father and I had a negative experience here during the weekend. The cashier was a young man who was not welcoming and was annoyed at our questions about the menu. We waited over 30 minutes for our food. Keep in mind the restaurant was nearly empty. The server mixed up my food order with another table and that table had my food for a few minutes before the server decided to still give it to me. Very unsanitary. The serving boards were cracked and will start to mold from the wet mold. Avoid this place. read more

This establishment has great Menudo and Aguas Frescas and just so you know you can have free refills. There's many items on the menu. The interior has booths and tables indoors and outdoor dining. The customer services is excellent.We had a couple of bowls of Menudo it came with eight homemade corn tortillas. We also ordered a mangonada and a strawberry lemonade, they were made just right. First timer!!! The place is a lowkey spot not gonna lie I arrived and wasn't sure what to expect but then when I went inside it was nice and clean and they had all the fresh juices and fruits. Came in here a few times., the quesabirria is amazing. I keep coming back k for more every time I'm in Pomona, and even if I'm not... I make the drive out here. Came here with a church group at 7 pm. There was about 20 of us. We called ahead so they knew we were coming. One long table was set up for us. Nice, hrd working all women team from what I saw. Pros- chili relleno and asada burrito was so good! Very bibg. COuld only eat half of it. The green salsa was delicious as well. ALso ordered a boinico to share with three others. They only sell large and it comes in a cup. Would have rather wanted it in a sqaure plastic container so every bit had a little of all topping. Their crema was delicious! Cons- Parking is horrendous here. It was so tight that I was afraid to park in the lot and get hit. I think there was 8 spots. I parked on the street to be safe. table were dirty and VERY sticky. Tried wiping it down with a napkin but the napkin got stuck and tore! That tells you how bad it was. They should pay a little more attention to that. read more

Superb breakfast burritos that I think about for days after eating one. So far I've had the Bacon, Carne Asada, Birria, and Chorizo. All have been packed with meat and so flavorful. My husband tried their Chile Relleno with Asada and loved it. One thing to know about their breakfast burritos is they use mashed, fried potatoes and over easy eggs, along with the meat and other toppings. I got the carne asada plate personally the meat is very dry. I can taste that they use canned beans which I don't mind but they need to doctor them up more. Salsas need to be more spicy. My daughter got the torta mexicana and it had way too much rice. I had never seen a torta with rice she wanted to try it, I could see it in her face that she wasn't satisfied and she said it's not flavorful but it was her cheat meal so she ate it. we went here midday and it was pretty empty. you order first then you grab your table & they bring the food out to you. the workers are very nice and accommodating! it was my first time trying a mulita and i would def order it again. for the tacos platter, i wish they provided more onions or had an open sauce bar with onions, cilantro, radish, etc. i liked that the order came with free chips, i wasn't expecting that but it was a nice surprise. make sure to ask for sauces when you order because they don't have it out! both the green and red sauces were very good and added a great spice to the food! there is a small parking lot available for the restaurant and the interior is rather simple with cute decor. the restaurant clearly has spanish influence in their intended design on the tables and interior. read more

I wish there wasn't as much fat in the carne asada pieces but the overall burrito was good. I could only eat half for lunch, so this made two meals for me.
