The interior is clean. And well worthy of shot to eat at. I ordered a basic chicken quesadilla and a Mexican Coke only about $12 which isn't bad. My largest gripe about any restaurant is that if you are a patron, you can use the bathroom. I was denied access to the bathroom because they wanted to start cleaning earlier. I am mortified about how rude they were to it when J can obviously see the bathrooms are working they are just cleaning. I am unhappy with the customer service HOWEVER.......... If I am being all about the food, and the taste of it, I must say the prices are reasonable. And the Quesadilla and tacos are amazing. Loved everything about our visit to Las Quesadillas ATX. We left Texas Land & Cattle because they suck (see my review) and came here for my 30th birthday. Nothing fancy but from the guy who took my order to the food and salsa, everything was delicious and very affordable. We each got an asada quesadilla with cilantro and onions and two asada tacos with pico de gallo and cilantro. They were piping hot and the tortillas had to have been made fresh because they were fluffy, warm and so soft!The best part was the asada beef which was cooked perfectly, tender, perfectly seasoned and without a hint of fat. They don't have their liquor license yet but the cashier sad that they were working on it. They offered bottled and canned soda. Food is really good. Street food style at affordable prices. They have aguas frescas along with fountain drinks. They also have the Mexican Cokes and Sprites in the case you can purchase by the bottle. The bad is they would not honor the Yelp check in offer. They said the store name doesn't match and I showed them that it did. They then said it was for their San Antonio store when the address was clearly the Austin location. Poor handling and looking at preview reviews, looks like this offer has been in place for at least a year. If it really is a mistake you would think they would get it fixed with Yelp. The reviews are confusing to me. I didn't like it at all. I had a chicken Tinga quesadilla which was pretty bland. And I had a mushroom taco which was a corn tortilla with some sautéed mushrooms and nothing else. Very strange. The salsa was extremely hot. I love hot sauce and spice but it was too much. Corn tortilla could have been cooked more, and I have nothing to say about the cheese since I drowned out the taste of the chicken with sauce since I wasn't a fan. But, I cannot, and will not, support a business that can say they aren't honoring a deal they set up, without removing the deal itself. The way the yelp offer is handled makes it feel like I am being scammed. They do not honor the check in offer yet they continue to host it on the page so if you want to support a business that uses shady business practices then that is on you. Personally the quesadillas where unimpressive but cheap making it a potential place for a cheap eat but being Austin there is just so many options for Mexican food in general so it is just not worth going back to a place of questionable ethics. I am not the skinniest person but two quesadillas will do for me. This time I ordered the poblano rajas with Cheese (OMG!) the best of the best. You will find food that you could not find anywhere else (VERY AUTHENTIC!). As a vegetarian, I fully recommend it. 5 STARS! The Food - 5 stars. (You can even see the staff preparing and cooking your food. The Drinks - 3 stars, could use some improving, but you could never go wrong with the Jarritos. The Salsas - 5 stars. OMG LOVED THEM!
