Birria, al pastor, lengua and cabeza

I stumbled across this taco trailer while I was getting my truck serviced, it's across the parking lot from the Reliable Auto Service on north rancho, and I'm glad I did! It's a small operation, a couple of folding tables and chairs under a tailgating tent, and bottled Mexican coke and some sodas in a cooler, but they churn out some fantastic tacos. They have a diverse menu with plenty of options, from the standard street taco to tortas and birria. You can pick which meet you want for whichever entree and they come standard with some deliciously spicy red and green salsa. I ordered a birria and 3 tacos (al pastor, lengua and cabeza). The meet is cooked well, tender and juicy, and the seasoning is tasty enough to eat without and additional salsa. The tacos come standard with chopped onion and cilantro, so if you don't want the topping then tell the cashier. There are only two people working the trailer, they were very friendly and speak both Spanish and English. They take all major credit cards, debit and cash. There is very limited seating, so that is definitely a factor. Several customers got their orders to go which seems like good idea if you have a group of people. I highly recommend you stopping by and try their food, I know that I would drive out of my way if I was in the area just eat eat there again!

Been literally dying to try the birria here and i finally got my chance! Every time i came here in the past they were closed. I ordered 2 birria just to try and i mist say it wasn't disappointing but not taste bud spectacular. A tad under seasoned but still well put together. Green and red sauce was bomb. Sisnt try the birria dip bc i was in the car and it was greasy enough. But the meat had good flavor just needed a little salt and extra onions and cilantro. I cant wait to come back (after my diet lol). Looking forward to gaining weight with you guys lol

El Taco Unico!

Hands down some of the best tacos in Vegas come from this taco truck. I've had a wide variety of meat from asada to al pastor and even lengua-- all equally delicious. The tortillas and sopes are made from scratch and they are super soft. I've also had the birria which was super good. I recommend coming here for some authentic Mexican street food. It's not Tex-Mex but REAL Mexican food. You won't regret it!

Absolutely delicious! I've been wanting to try their tacos and finally got the chance. We ordered 3 each of the carne asada, pastor and burria tacos with consumé. The service was fast and they were so nice. We will be making this a regular taco stop!

Service was quick and friendly. Tacos and burrito were ok; lacking more flavor. Will try them again if I'm in the area.

Got the tacos de Birria and they are delicious

Hola Modern Mexican is a fantastic spot to gather with friends or family for a great meal--or just…read morea few delicious drinks. The interior is clean, welcoming, fun, and definitely photo-worthy. The staff and service were personable, friendly, and very accommodating. I ordered the dinner special, which included a shredded beef taco and a comforting bowl of albóndigas soup. We also shared the guacamole, which was delicious and featured a unique, seasonal flavor twist. To finish, we split a slice of tres leches cake, and it was easily one of the best I've ever had. I'll absolutely be returning to Hola to try more of their menu, especially since it's so conveniently close to home.

I really like the interior decor which is like a very contemporary and upscale Mexican. They have a variety of table and booth seating and a large bar. Our server, Hunter, was very friendly and attentive. He always ended every interaction with "have fun!" I tried the "el corazon" sangria which was delicious! It had a wonderful, warm flavor with a light hint of cinnamon yet it was still cold and refreshing! A cool tip - each drink comes with a little card with a symbol on it and the drink ingredients. Save this card! At each table is a game board of sorts that offers various prizes as you match the cards on the game board sort of like bingo. We really enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa, and we tried the traditional guacamole with vegetables as well. The guacamole was wonderfully cool and creamy and flavorful. For my entree, I tried the chicken fajitas which is served on a steaming platter with various accompaniments. This was also very delicious, and the chicken was quite flavorful and juicy. A small side note - it was served with a cous cous of sort, but I think I would've preferred a simple Spanish rice. The chicken portion size also seemed a bit smaller than when we get fajitas at Chili's. I would recommend you get double meat if you want to share. We decided to try the chocolate flan and the fried ice cream sundae for dessert. I preferred the flavor of the flan and the unique textures of the flan which had the jiggly caramel flan part on top of a more cake like chocolate part below. I honestly think the fried ice cream was not too good. It did not taste freshly fried, and the coating was very dry and brittle and hard to eat. I prefer the places that serve the fried ice cream warm with a very bubbly crust that is both crunchy outside and a bit soft inside. This was not that. Overall, though, we really enjoyed the dining experience here! We will probably return and try their weekday "Fajitas and Ritas" special! I recommend Hola!

This place is not worth your money. You can get better quality food and larger portions for one-third of the price at Don Tortaco. Yes, this place is THAT bad. We ordered the carne asada nachos, a chorizo breakfast burrito, a bean and cheese burrito, and two strawberry churros. The breakfast burrito honestly wasn't bad. However, it was $20, and I still felt like I needed another burrito afterward. The carne asada nachos looked were made with a mix of ground beef and carne asada instead of just carne asada. The most disappointing item was the $15 bean and cheese burrito. I included a photo in this review because it was mostly tortilla, and the cheese wasn't even melted. As for the churros, we originally ordered regular churros, but they told us they didn't have plain churros available on a Friday night, so we were pushed into getting the strawberry ones instead. Despite being strawberry flavored, they were drenched in cinnamon and sugar. They were awful.

OMG what an experience at this restaurant. My husband booked it for our anniversary…read more It is located next to the Aria entrance at the Crystal Shops, so do self parking at the Aria Hotel. This is a place that you need to make reservations and come nicely dressed. No flip flops, no shorts for men, no baseball caps. They have a VIP Lounge for their Members, including a Hidden Menu for them. Ambiance is very romantic, low lights, music, performers staring at 8pm every night. Perfect for a romantic date, business dinner or celebrating something. Food is Mexican upscale an very exquisite. They have original drinks and each dish is beautifully decorated. We ordered a Matcha Martini (can't even describe how good it was). For food we had the Crispy Calamari and Chicken Enchiladas. Perfect for sharing, delicate and it is a explosion of flavors in your mouth. Service is so outstanding, Mariah and Jesus were our servers. You get assigned two servers even being a party of two. Since entering the restaurant we were treated like VIP and everyone said Happy Anniversary to us. They had even read our special instructions of dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy free). At the end of our dining experience the Chef sent us a Dairy Free, Gluten free and Vegan dessert on the house to celebrate oour special day. It was such the perfect touch to end our dining experience. It was our first time here, we will definitely come back and reserve for a later time since the only thing we missed were the performers because they show up later at night.

In short, the food is delicious, the drinks are consistently good, the service is on point and the vibes at night scream date night. This place has a special place in my heart because it's where I discovered the carajillo, the carajillo I use as the gold standard for all carajillos; granted the OG version with cream is the best. They have great variety of cocktails and getting them is an experience all on their own. Each drink and its presentation are unique to one another. Great IG worthy drinks. As for the food everything was delicious and the proteins tender. Portions are pretty decent for this type of place. Also they're on online so you can kind of splurge a little if you want to Not sure if it's every night but I have seen live musicians and fire dancers there.
