I came here because I just moved into an apartment nearby and wanted to try it out. The food was really good and tasted fresh. The spice level was actually spicy, which I appreciated. The fries were great, and the coleslaw was really good too. The staff had a great attitude and were very friendly. I was told everything is made fresh to order, and you can definitely tell. I got the #1 combo and it was a lot of food -- I'm a pretty big guy and it actually filled me up. Overall, really good experience. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

Honestly this place is really good idk why I see some complaints about it in the reviews me and my bf dont really care for Dave's hot chicken and don fuegos disappointed us In their spice and fries but this place surprised us in their food! I'm really picky with my fries and you guys have some bomb fries also I love how spicy the sandwich is,i got the spiciest one and it was so good! also u guys have the best ranch we have ever tasted we will becoming back and telling our friends and family about it the staff was really friendly to and although they don't have a bathroom I appreciate them letting the customers wash their hands in the sink! Having recently moved from LA where Dave's chicken and howling rays are supreme I was excited to find this possibly new fave, unfortunately, I forgot it's the IE. From the beginning, you're greeted by a kiosk to place your order which was #1 then as you place your order you attempt to make a drink selection only to find "Shasta" drinks! I don't mind Shasta but common these are dollar tree drinks at Coke prices #2. I decide to skip the drink and place my order but being I'm on my work lunch I need to wash my hands first so I ask if I can use a bathroom and they don't even have one like you want to invite customers in to spend not just pay nd go I would imagine but no I have to walk to the gas station next door to buy a drink and wash my hands instead. Finally, I returned to my meal being ready, the meal looked good serving was adequate and hot but that first bite was atrocious! All crust no chicken and salty as the Dead Sea! I figured maybe that section was over seasoned or something so I continued biting only to continue to be disappointed. About 3 bites in I reached the chicken portion of the crust but I was already dehydrated with how salty the sandwich was. The only thing I can taste in the chicken sandwich is some weak chili powder that does nothing for the sandwich and I ordered my meal through your online service they provide and they decided to add their own tip. We were a lowly weary when we came in and saw the existing Yelp reviews, but hot damn! This food will make you wanna slap yo mama! The people working here are really nice and accommodating. There is a vibe and good chill music playing. That loaded Mac and cheese will change your life! It is what my 72 year old dad ordered. I got the chicken and waffles and they are divine! Perfect mix of sweet, spicy, crunchy, and fluffy. The fries and seasoning are dynamite! Overall, I'm appalled that this place doesn't have 5 stars avoid the board. I tried the two chicken sandwiches with french fries. They definitely won me over with the french fries because, they're crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and very well seasoned. The bread on the sandwich was good, but I feel like the flavor was lacking as far as the chicken itself and the coleslaw that it came with. Dousing it in sauces helps. read more

Chicken is a little dry - im not sure if they soak it in butter milk. They use breast . Chicken republic uses dark meat - So Good! . There spice level is legit. Had the x hot and hot. Prices are good compared to the others . Place is clean . They don't have filler ups" for drinks . They have Shasta!! lol but it's good - for $1.49 . Bottom line i had better but I'm happy it's in Moval! My top chicken spots are Cluck kitchen , Chicken republic and hotties. I had the sandwich and loaded fries as reference. read more

This was a delicious place! The chicken was well flavored and freshly prepared. The seasoning is house made and packs a punch. This chicken is as good as what I can get in Nashville. Highly recommend. I dropped a star for not having a soda fountain, but I look forward to going back! read more

LA Hot chicken is good if you get Country fried but the extra hot dry rub tender will have you throwing up and bad stomach issues, Fries were good also. I believe Wet sauce is a lot better, had the most hottest chicken spice challenge with no stomach problems. read more

Came here when it was originally AL's hot chicken. it was extremely good and satisfying. The chicken sandwich was a full chicken breast and actually was as big as the bread... I ordered from them a handful of times and each time, it was never disappointing. I just returned recently and now they're "LA's hot chicken"... still thought it would be the same quality but it's absolutely not. I ordered the sandwich and it was a small tender, the ratio to chicken from bread was not worth it at all. The seasoning isn't the same. The fries are still good but it has gone down significantly in quality. Also, the girl up front was on her phone because it was empty, when I walked in she acted like I interrupted her phone call and acted like I was stupid when I asked for extra sauce for my togo order. I'm aware I have to pay for extra sauce, but she acted like I was taking time out her day to do so. Not usually the type to leave negative reviews unless it was a really poor experience and unfortunately I think i will be making the drive back to SB for Dave's hot chicken when i'm craving this type of chicken. read more
