First time here for me and my wife while we were out in Lodi for the afternoon. The place has a great setup inside, a lot of big tables, plenty of seating, and lively music that fits what they serve. I went with the steak fajitas and they came out hot with a good mix of peppers and onions. Plenty of flavor and a fair portion. My wife ordered the shrimp and fish tacos and those ended up being our favorite. They were crispy, well-seasoned, and put together nicely. We also tried a strawberry margarita, which was good but could've been sweeter. Service was fast, friendly, and our food came out quicker than expected. 100% will be back for more shrimp tacos!

We to visit this location, probably every of the month to get our seafood cravings over with. And that would usually consist of the ceviche cups or sometimes the oyster platter. As soon as the location opens usually around 11 AM it becomes very busy but not sure if they take reservations as we just usually walk in and kind of wait a couple of minutes and then we are seated or sometimes they ask us to see her self. I really enjoy the service that we get here every time we do visit because everybody that helps us out is very pleasant and nice and cordial. They do play the music very loud as if replicating you are in a live concert lol but sometimes it helps bring out the vibes depending on if somebody is celebrating an occasion. The atmosphere is kind of set up like a sailor ship or something rather but of course pertains to the sea. They do offer other things on their menu and they also serve alcohol beverages if that is of your interest. Their parking lot is shared with other businesses around the area so sometimes it's difficult to find a parking space. You may have to circle around a couple of times, but when you are at your table, you automatically Brought a appetizer size ceviche with crackers and tostadas.. for those that do enjoy picking out music their selves they do have a modernized jukebox that's located towards their back wall before reaching the restrooms. Overall, one of our go to spots when we wanna get out and have kind of like a late lunch or early dinner

Came here for the first time with my family on a Sunday afternoon. I've only tried piña rellena at one other place & never found anyone else that made this. They made the BEST piña rellena. I didn't order with octopus, only shrimp. So flavorful! Must come and try this place for sure.

What a hidden gem! If you love seafood, come here. The longostino plate is my favorite. The sauce that coats the prawns has such great flavor, spicy and tangy at the same time. Love dipping the cucumbers in the same sauce. The shrimp empanadas are a must order as well.

First time here and won't be my last! The food is so delicious and I can't wait to come back and try more off the menu. Came on a Sunday afternoon and it was very lively and full of music and families. Every booth was filled which told me all I needed to know... this place is legit. Service was welcoming and staff made sure we had everything we needed. As for food they started us off with a fish ceviche and tostadas instead of the usual chips and salsa which was impressive. We ordered two fish tacos and shrimp empanadas and washed it all down with a classic margarita. The fish tacos were beer battered to perfection and had plenty of flavor, I forgot to even squeeze lime on it lol. The shrimp empanadas had an almost sweet tasting masa, crispy on the outside but still fluffy inside. Everything had great flavor. 10/10 recommend and will come again!

Had the Vuelve A La Vida with shrimp, octopus, imitation crab meat, imitation abalone, and a raw oyster. It was very good and tasty, would recommend and order again.

OK this has the second time I have been here. The first thing that I want to say that I like about this place is instead of giving you salsa and chips they give you ceviche, which is really good. They have all kinds of seafood that you can think of and that you love and they also have other stuff like fajitas, this is what we tried this time and they were really good and we will be back again to try of the big seafood plates. Service was great and the ambience was pretty chill. So if you are in this area of a Lodi come try it out. I don't think you will be disappointed, unless you don't like seafood, but I will put up a few pictures and be back to see if they can earn that fifth star. Thanks.

My wife and I decided to venture around the town to see if we are missing out on any spots and boy did we miss this hidden gem!! The outside doesn't tell the story on what's really going on inside. You can tell this establishment is supported by the locals. The neighborhood is predominantly Hispanic, which is great because the food will be much more authentic. You can certainly feel the culture once you enter, the servers allow you to sit anywhere you'd like and the wait time wasn't too bad. All in all good service. Now the food: I could taste very flavored as each dish was perfectly seared and flavorful on the inside. I truly enjoyed each dish, the best thing I liked about the food is it was very fresh. I highly recommended coming here.

Good Mexican style seafood not the best and seems to be of a lesser quality fish than most other Mexican seafood restaurants that use and should be using red snapper or striper not catfish or Cod types. Over priced for the Quality of the food expect to pay around $20 for a basic carne Assad plate and $15-$20 for a ok shrimp cocktail. read more

The fish ceviche with tostadas and crackers was a pleasant brake from the chips and salsa you always get. I had the shrimp and garlic plate, it was amazing! Its hard to find a Mexican restaurant where even the beans and rice are good. read more

Camarones A La Diabla and Empanadas De Camaron are d-e-l-i-c-o-u-s !!! They give a free appetizer of ceviche which is hands down the best ceviche I have ever eaten. My opinion is, this is the best seafood restaurant around!! read more

This place sucks. when I got there the waitress told me there was one table of 3 people and two tables of 6 people ahead of mine. After waiting an hour I asked how much longer and the waitress said there was still another table of 7 ahead of me. I told her she had showed me the list and there was only 3 tables ahead of me. Another waitress came around and she started to yell at me saying what was my problem and I told her what was going on the waitress then said "well even if you are next the only table that will be open next is a big one so we will be sitting the table of 7." Mind you this place is not keeping up with COVID state regulations. They are over packing the inside part of the restaurant. read more

We were in Lodi and I had been traveling and eating restaurant food for over a week and wanted something not a chain and with food that was clean with protein and veggies and not a salad. We stumbled upon this gem. It is a fish centric Mexican restaurant. Instead of salsa we were given ceviche. We had the fajitas and they were incredible. The only 4 stars are because the margarita was made with wine and the plates were styrofoam. But the food made it worth it to go again. read more

Short haired older lady super rude, never once checked on our table to see if we needed anything. In all the times I've ever came Never once have I been I'd here. So I didn't even bother bringing mine today for a michelada. Been coming here for years. Lady had a rude ass face since we walked in. Super smart ass mouth. Even before I was 21 never once had they checked an id here. So not sure why she decided to today. If you're gonna have that policy stick thru with it all the way no? read more

Me and my wife stopped by here we both ordered the big cup of shrimp cocktail and we were not disappointment. Very good and flavorful. Also had a great service. We are from out of town but we both told each other we are coming back. We where both amazed at all the good looking plates that the other people where getting. If you feel like having good mexican seafood definitely try it out. read more

We came here because of a groupon and am I glad we did. Our go to place for Mexican food is Nena's which some people hate, and others,like us, love. This place is definitely not the traditional Mexican restaurant. The thing to order here are the seafood dishes. If you come here and order a traditional Mexican dish, then you will be severely disappointed. They specialize in seafood dishes, and that's what you should order. The area seemed a bit shady but its really not bad at all. Its in a little corner near the K-Mart. It's right next to Haru Sushi. When you sit down, instead of chips and salsa you get tostadas and ceviche. Its an awesome change. The ceviche was pretty good. We ordered a appetizer combination which had shrimps, scallops, fish, and other various seafoods. It was in a garlic sauce that had a little spicy side. It was incredible. Be WARNED it was a ton of food. We were almost full just with the appetizer. My wife ordered a shrimp soup which had all kinds of fish and shrimp. The broth was definitely something to write home about. It was full of flavor and a hot. I ordered shrimp and steak fajitas. They were good, just as good as most other fajitas. All this for a pre-groupon price of $40. I felt that this was a good price for all the food we ordered, most of which was packed in a doggy bag. All in all I would definitely recommend this place. We are already planning on our order next time we visit. Molcajetas and a different appetizer!!! read more

For oyster lovers like us, a dozen raw for under $15. is heaven. The oysters were great and what an absolutely wonderful selection of other seafood dishes, and some meat ones too though I can't imagine why you'd want them in this authentic, excellent MARISCOS restaurant. They serve limes instead of lemons, like in most of Mexico. It's hard for us to imagine that there really are people who don't like seafood, though I've heard a a few make that claim. Having moved here from the coast, the lack of good, fresh seafood is a truly great deprivation as far as we are concerned. This place helps ease the pain. We've had excellent service there and in this vast seafood wasteland, believe me, this is a wonderful find, hidden as it is in the back of a parking lot, but right next to the wonderful Rancho San Miguel market. read more

My husband and I went here Friday night when we arrived to Lodi. Read the reviews on Yelp. So we wanted to try it. OMG!!! I had the oysters and they were like eating the ocean!! So fresh. I'm such a marisco lover & let me say, this exceeded my expectations. It is a bomb! It might be a bit of a wait, but it's worth it. While you wait for your food they give you ceviche which is super tasty! The shrimp in the cocktail are HUGE & it's a lot of them in there! The drinks are also amazing, i would recommend this place to everyone! It won't disappoint. read more

Las islitas is my go to when I want to sit down and have good seafood. The mejillones (mussels) and Langostinos (prawns) are cooked in this amazing red oil sauce that you will want to drink when all is said and done. They offer a variety of authentic Mexican seafood options. Their mega michelada is a shrimp topped beauty of a drink. Would highly recommend. read more

The service here made my visit so enjoyable. The staff was so easy to talk to. My food came fast and the quality was delicious! They dont serve the popular red Spanish rice, but they gave me a sample of the kind they had. My portions were big. Food was good but the service sucked big time I get the place was packed but the whole 30 to 40 mins that we sat there not once the waitress ask us for a refill on our drinks and they never even brought out our ceviche tostadas but tried to charge for them like um no we never got em and the flys were everywhere. Love this place! Ordered a dozen oysters and they were so fresh! I couldn't stop eating the free ceviche and tostadas they give for the table. So good! We ordered the steak, chicken and shrimp fajitas with flour tortillas. Came with greens, rice and beans. Also the freshwater prawns (forgot what it's called) cooked in sauce was amazing! Service was really good too. The staff were friendly and fast. So glad we grabbed lunch here. read more

We were in Lodi for the weekend and wanted seafood on Friday night. Las Islitas Mariscos was listed on Yelp so we went in and we were not disappointed. This place is clearly a local favorite but our group of nine was helped immediately. All of the staff was accommodating, friendly, patient, and professional. Las Islitas did not offer the standard fare-- it was better! Wide selection of seafood choices, prepared with sauces of your choosing ranging from mild to very spicy. Quality of the food was excellent. Prices very reasonable. read more

I came to this restaurant on a whim I saw the line and figured I would give it a try regularly I don't care too much for seafood but everything I tried at this restaurant was so perfectly prepared and delicious I may very well have just changed my mind if you're coming into Lodi and you like fresh seafood there is no other place to go I definitely would recommend them to everyone I even told one of the staff there what I was looking for and my preference in the food they provided and he was able to point me in the exact Direction I was trying to go great service great food great place definitely deserve the five out of five stars read more

If you're on the search for variety and the best mariscos, look no further because this is the spot! I love how they bring out complimentary ceviche and tostadas when you sit down. Never had a problem with the service, everyone has always been very attentive and we've been here several times. The food is amazing and considering I'm from Nayarit myself, I know my seafood. read more
