We to visit this location, probably every of the month to get our seafood cravings over with. And that would usually consist of the ceviche cups or sometimes the oyster platter. As soon as the location opens usually around 11 AM it becomes very busy but not sure if they take reservations as we just usually walk in and kind of wait a couple of minutes and then we are seated or sometimes they ask us to see her self. I really enjoy the service that we get here every time we do visit because everybody that helps us out is very pleasant and nice and cordial. They do play the music very loud as if replicating you are in a live concert lol but sometimes it helps bring out the vibes depending on if somebody is celebrating an occasion. The atmosphere is kind of set up like a sailor ship or something rather but of course pertains to the sea. They do offer other things on their menu and they also serve alcohol beverages if that is of your interest. Their parking lot is shared with other businesses around the area so sometimes it's difficult to find a parking space. You may have to circle around a couple of times, but when you are at your table, you automatically Brought a appetizer size ceviche with crackers and tostadas.. for those that do enjoy picking out music their selves they do have a modernized jukebox that's located towards their back wall before reaching the restrooms. Overall, one of our go to spots when we wanna get out and have kind of like a late lunch or early dinner

Delicious mariscos here in Lodi, me & my mom go once a month at least. They have a great lunch menu 11-2. Service is always great & the food is always so delish! Complimentary ceviche is always a plus

Came here for the first time with my family on a Sunday afternoon. I've only tried piña rellena at one other place & never found anyone else that made this. They made the BEST piña rellena. I didn't order with octopus, only shrimp. So flavorful! Must come and try this place for sure.

What a hidden gem! If you love seafood, come here. The longostino plate is my favorite. The sauce that coats the prawns has such great flavor, spicy and tangy at the same time. Love dipping the cucumbers in the same sauce. The shrimp empanadas are a must order as well.

First time here and won't be my last! The food is so delicious and I can't wait to come back and try more off the menu. Came on a Sunday afternoon and it was very lively and full of music and families. Every booth was filled which told me all I needed to know... this place is legit. Service was welcoming and staff made sure we had everything we needed. As for food they started us off with a fish ceviche and tostadas instead of the usual chips and salsa which was impressive. We ordered two fish tacos and shrimp empanadas and washed it all down with a classic margarita. The fish tacos were beer battered to perfection and had plenty of flavor, I forgot to even squeeze lime on it lol. The shrimp empanadas had an almost sweet tasting masa, crispy on the outside but still fluffy inside. Everything had great flavor. 10/10 recommend and will come again!

    Vuelve A La Vida,

Had the Vuelve A La Vida with shrimp, octopus, imitation crab meat, imitation abalone, and a raw oyster. It was very good and tasty, would recommend and order again.

Amazing Mexican Mariscos. Great price, excellent service. A must try if I'm the mood for seafood

OK this has the second time I have been here. The first thing that I want to say that I like about this place is instead of giving you salsa and chips they give you ceviche, which is really good. They have all kinds of seafood that you can think of and that you love and they also have other stuff like fajitas, this is what we tried this time and they were really good and we will be back again to try of the big seafood plates. Service was great and the ambience was pretty chill. So if you are in this area of a Lodi come try it out. I don't think you will be disappointed, unless you don't like seafood, but I will put up a few pictures and be back to see if they can earn that fifth star. Thanks.

Everything was really tasty and delicious. Service was fast and friendly, but our server wasn't as attentive. I had to look for my server multiple times, but everything was still good. Overall the place was very clean and the ambiance was really nice.

The food is top notch! Pleasantly surprised with the generous portions. Flavor was great complimented the food without taking away the seafood taste. I recommend the Levanta Muertos plate and it's big enough for 2. Ceviche appetizer instead of the standard bowl of tortilla chips is a nice touch. We stopped in during lunch while working and they were busy. The staff were polite and friendly. Our food came quickly despite the crowd. Live Mariachi music taking requests from table to table. Noisy but fun, good family place as well.

Best fish taco, it was delicious! They didn't skimp on the fish & my beer was nice and cold.

Stopped in for a Michelada because I hear there's is the best. Was not disappointed. Can't wait to come back and try their food. Everything looked awesome.

We also got steamed white rice, hush puppies, and calamari on the side. The restaurant is located in a large strip mall with plenty of parking, and inside has a cute beachy/ocean vibe. The space was very clean and comfortable. The seafood boil came out piping hot and was absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The steamed rice was fluffy and paired really well with the seafood, and we enjoyed the hush puppies too. The one thing we didn't care for was the calamari. Unfortunately, it was extremely tough and chewy, which made it hard to eat, so we wouldn't order that again. The wait staff was friendly and on top of things throughout our meal, which we appreciated. Overall, I think this place has the best seafood boil in the area, especially for the price - you get a lot more food here compared to other local seafood boil spots. We'll definitely be back!

Out of this world. The breading was thin and crispy, and the dipping sauce was yummy. We had the catch of the day. It came with risotto that was perfectly seasoned and cheesy. My friend had the Parpadelle. She said it was prepared perfectly, and al dente just like she likes it. We definitely would return for some more spins around the menu. We made a brunch reservation for 11:30am, though we ended up ordering off the regular menu rather than brunch. That was the first odd note of the afternoon. Before the appetizers, they brought out focaccia with herbed butter, a nice alternative to the standard bread basket. The calamari appetizer with marinara and tartar sauce was fine, nothing memorable. My mom's eggplant parmesan arrived warm but not hot and cooled down quickly. The pizzas, a Funghi and a Margherita, were cooked well in the stone oven and were genuinely the best thing on the table, but they arrived warm and cooled down quickly, the same issue as my mom's eggplant parmesan. With the air conditioning blowing directly overhead, hot food didn't really stand a chance. The service is where things unraveled. When we were first seated, the manager came by and helped with my dad's walker, which was a nice touch. After that it went downhill. When my dad asked for something light, the waiter recommended the carbonara, a dish built on guanciale, grana, egg, and black pepper. That's not light by any definition. It's a basic gap in menu knowledge that does the guest a disservice. The menu also had salmon, ricotta toast, and eggs in purgatory. My dad also asked for red pepper flakes to go with his pizza and they took unusually long to arrive, so he had to flag down a different waiter to get them. The waiter noticed I was drinking my Bloody Mary slowly and offered a different version that actually tasted better. If there's a preferred version, lead with it. When I made eye contact to signal we were ready to pay, he acknowledged it but continued socializing with a coworker before finally coming over and taking my card, as if he was surprised we wanted to pay. When a customer is ready, they're ready. He took my card, asked if we wanted dessert, went to grab the dessert menu, then handed it back. Just hold onto the card. I'm paying with the same card regardless. Handing it back makes no sense. The restaurant itself is beautiful and spacious, with a full bar, outdoor seating, a small store at the entrance, and a vegetable garden out front. It's a great setting. Dinner service might be a different experience, but on this visit the dining room wasn't particularly full, which made it more noticeable that the staff prioritized socializing over the guests in front of them. For the record, the suggested tip on the receipt started at 18%. On the way out, two hostesses stood by and did nothing while my parents, one of whom was on a walker, made their way to the door on their own. Getting the door is common courtesy for the elderly. Pietro's has the ingredients of a great restaurant. The space is beautiful, the stone oven pizza is genuinely good, and the brunch menu has real potential. But a restaurant is only as good as its execution, and right now the service and the food temperatures are letting the kitchen down. They just need to meet it.

Good day, Yelpies!…read more As someone who has spent years chasing authentic Asian cuisine, I'm always amazed when an unassuming spot completely exceeds expectations -- and this Vietnamese gem did exactly that. From the outside, tucked into a humble strip mall, you'd never guess the culinary experience waiting inside. But the moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted by the intoxicating aroma of simmering broth and fresh herbs -- what I can only describe as "Pho cologne." Honestly, if someone bottled that fragrance, I'd wear it daily. Yes, the menu offers the traditional Vietnamese favorites you'd expect, but every dish arrives piping hot, deeply comforting, and bursting with authentic flavor. The pho is rich and aromatic, the ingredients taste incredibly fresh, and each bite feels thoughtfully prepared. What truly elevates this restaurant, however, is the hospitality. The staff operates with a level of attentiveness that is becoming rare these days. Drinks are constantly refilled, every table is checked on with genuine care, and you can feel the pride they take in both the food and the dining experience. Even better, the restaurant is spotless and welcoming -- the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home. Don't let the strip mall location fool you. Some of the best Vietnamese food is found in places exactly like this, where the focus is entirely on flavor, warmth, and authentic hospitality.

We were disappointed to find out this one doesn't offer micheladas or Coke Zero (only Diet), both of which the Milpitas location offers. Service was also frustrating. We came in for a Friday lunch and they weren't busy, yet it took a while for anyone to acknowledge us and seat us. Even getting our order in was difficult because our server rarely came by. There were only a few other tables and three servers total, so it didn't make sense. We had to wave multiple times just to get someone's attention. The biggest issue was when we ordered 3 lunch shrimp boils and added 1/2 lb of extra sausage. Each lunch is supposed to come with 1 corn, 2pcs sausage, 2 pcs potatoes, and 1 boiled egg. Naturally, we assumed ordering 3 lunches would mean three orders of all of that, and one of the bags would have the extra sausage. Instead, they put all the shrimp into one bag. Ok fine but then we noticed we only had 1 corn when we should've had 3 in there. Once we noticed we were short on corn, we realized we were short on everything else too, with 2 pcs potatoes, and 1 egg in the entire bag. When we brought it up, our server said we should have specified that we wanted three separate bags. That didn't make sense to us. We've ordered the same way at the Milpitas location and received 3 separate bags with all the included items in each. Even if they combined everything into one bag, it doesn't explain why we were missing sides or why we would want less sides. She did say she'd bring out the missing items, but again, it was difficult to get her attention. The servers were mostly standing behind the counter instead of checking on tables. We also noticed their lunch pricing varies depending on shrimp head-on or head-off, which is different from the other location (they charge the same for either) and the Stockton location is slightly more expensive for lunch too..maybe b/c they add an egg? The egg was also over boiled and almost grey inside (you know what I'm talking about!) The yolk just crumbled. The sauce though was consistent and that's what we love about Cajun Crackin. Same great flavor. Overall, we wanted to give this location a chance, but between the slow service, the pushback on what should have been a straightforward order, and the limited drink options, it just didn't leave a good impression.

It's contemporary and the furnishings are quite comfortable. It's the type of place you can settle in and have a casual meal without feeling rushed. Prices are high yet the quality is excellent. For the first evening at the bar we settled into a high top table. You can sit at the bar, lounge type seating or outdoors on a pleasantly shaded patio. They had an expanded bar bites menu as the main restaurant is closed on Wednesdays... most of it quite enticing. We opted for cocktails to start and I chose a specialty Date Maple Old Fashioned. It was really good with a large ice ball to chill it. For bar bites we shared the pork belly sandwiches (small, delicious but messy to eat), the sausage skewers (amazing!) and crab cups (refreshingly light and easy to eat). After cocktails we had glasses of a light white wine, made with Santorini Greek grapes. For the next meal in the dining room the place was a buzz with activity but conversation was easy without a lot of excessive noise. It's intimate and the room is quite pleasant for a gourmet meal. We started with cocktails (same Old Fashioned) and shared the grilled Brussels Sprouts which were plentiful and ever so delicious. They were slightly over grilled for my taste yet it didn't distract from me enjoying them. We got bread which was a baguette with butter and the consistency perfect for a French style loaf. For my entree I debated between the scallops and the pork chop and went with the chop. I was quite pleased as the chop came in thick slices and drizzled with a tarragon mustard reduction sauce. It was amazing, tender, juicy and at 22oz I couldn't finish it all. It came with a tasty apple sauce and grilled seared cabbage. Absolutely delicious. Ed, celebrating a birthday, had steak which came with a huge bowl of mashed potatoes which I tasted. Oh my gosh, the creamiest potatoes ever! For dessert we shared the cheese plate, a really great way to end the meal, with glasses of a twany port. All of the cheeses from a brie to a hard cheese were top quality. Service both times was very attentive, professional yet personable. We were well cared for and everything went smoothly. It's expensive yet the experience and value is worth visiting.
