Nothing remarkable ... our server was a nice guy but the seafood boils were VERY salty. Almost too salty to eat. We ordered two seafood boils with shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and lobster tail. We also had a deep fried oyster appetizer and that was actually good. The restrooms were horrible and looked like public gas station restrooms. I let our server know that they were in bad condition and someone could get hurt if they slipped on what appeared to be urine on the floors; and he politely said he'd get someone in there. There's only two bathrooms, both gender neutral, yet one had a urinal and the other didn't. Again, he was a nice guy. However, the bathrooms looked like no one regularly cleaned them. They were very dirty and smelled, it wasn't a good look for them... being that they advertised themselves as "NEW Grand Opening". We were only in the area for a volleyball tournament so we aren't local to Lodi. We found this place on Yelp and decided to try based on the positive reviews. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend nor return. Two stars for the oyster appetizer and the friendly service.

Stopped for lunch today. The restaurant was not crowded. Got seated right away and got out order taken quickly. The place was clean and well kept. I had the shrimp basket lunch w:fries and my wife had the same with sweet potatoe waffle fries. We also order a side of hush puppies which were yummy. Overall a great experience!

Great place. Books have good seasoning and come out hot and fast. Calamari and fries were delicious too! Medium heat perfect

First time visiting since it opened. The restaurant is nicely decorated in a marine theme. We were greeted and were promptly sat in a booth. We had the hush puppies for appetizers; I recommend them. For the main course l, we ordered the crab and shrimp combo with corn and potatoes. Everything came steaming hot but delicious. They provide you with all the equipment for the job: bib, gloves, seafood cracker and napkins. They have a variety of seasonings (the house one has everything in it). There are also different levels of heat (spice) for everyone's taste. It was a fun dining experience and we definitely left with full stomachs. Thanks to our server Moses who was very attentive and kind. Check it out !

Food was good. Service was great. I would definitely go back. I got a seafood bag with house flavor- medium. Wasn't too spicy, good flavor. I would try hot next time. Cajun fries were good. Calamari was good. Ordered chicken tenders basket but was too full to try it. The only thing I don't like, is they stop sitting people at 9pm. A few days ago I went to dine in for the first time and they said I couldn't after 9pm so I left.

Mediocre at best. The food was very bland to Me. It lacked any really favor. I was a bit disappointed. It was also like warm. I also ordered calamari, it was fried so hard into the point it wasn't edible. The waiter was great. He was attentive and sweet. The restaurant was very clean the music was very family friendly.

The service was good, 1st time here. The prices are not that bad either. Right amount of seasoning on the seafood we ordered. Some places are smothered in so much salt it makes your head hurt but they were yums. Def will be back

Amazing food. It was my first time trying this place. My parents brought me and my gf here to try the new seafood spot in town and we loved it. Great customer service and so much parking. The environment was really chill and it is a good size restaurant for the 209 area. We got the Family Special deal, Garlic Noodles, Cajun wings and Hush Puppies. Great place to celebrate any special occasion. Highly recommend this spot!

So happy to finally have a crab boil place in Lodi! Went for an early dinner on 4/1. They weren't busy and we were sat quickly. The server was friendly enough and the food and drinks came out quickly. We ordered fried calamari and the family meal. For the seafood boil we chose black mussels, Dungeness crab, clams, and head on shrimp with the house seasoning and hot spice level. The seasoning and spice was perfect and so delicious. The decor in the restaurant is cute and I really love the little jellyfish lamps hanging in the dining room. The food was great but I do wish they had a full liquor license so we could have cocktails with dinner.

Went here on a Friday night after seeing reviews on Facebook. It did not disappoint. Just a note to let you know all the crab is previously frozen but this is common on most restaurants serving crab. We love fresh caught crab but need to be really close to ocean to get that. This place is awesome as Lodi needed someplace that served seafood. We shared a bucket with dungeness crab, shrimp, clams, red potatoes and corn. We chose the cajun with hot spice. It was not terribly hot so give it a try. Everything super hot and tasty served in a plastic wrap with a bib and plenty of napkins. Right up there with any other restaurant serving this style seafood. Super busy so we had a half hour wait.

Good day, Yelpies!…read more As someone who has spent years chasing authentic Asian cuisine, I'm always amazed when an unassuming spot completely exceeds expectations -- and this Vietnamese gem did exactly that. From the outside, tucked into a humble strip mall, you'd never guess the culinary experience waiting inside. But the moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted by the intoxicating aroma of simmering broth and fresh herbs -- what I can only describe as "Pho cologne." Honestly, if someone bottled that fragrance, I'd wear it daily. Yes, the menu offers the traditional Vietnamese favorites you'd expect, but every dish arrives piping hot, deeply comforting, and bursting with authentic flavor. The pho is rich and aromatic, the ingredients taste incredibly fresh, and each bite feels thoughtfully prepared. What truly elevates this restaurant, however, is the hospitality. The staff operates with a level of attentiveness that is becoming rare these days. Drinks are constantly refilled, every table is checked on with genuine care, and you can feel the pride they take in both the food and the dining experience. Even better, the restaurant is spotless and welcoming -- the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home. Don't let the strip mall location fool you. Some of the best Vietnamese food is found in places exactly like this, where the focus is entirely on flavor, warmth, and authentic hospitality.

Food: they have a vast variety of seafood plates and options. The mariscos/seafood tastes fresh and they are open to work with you for special request on your plate of choice. Location: there is plenty of parking space. The place is kind of small in my opinion, it get crowded over the weekend. My recommendation is for you to get there early. Ambiance: the music was loud, therefor be aware of possible complications to have a nice conversation without feeling that you gotta turn up your voice volume. The place could benefit from a little extra cleanliness, I understand it's a seafood place although it does give a sense of needing extra cleanliness. Team/staff: they are were attentive and ready to assist when needed. We had a little complication since two of our family members did not get their place fast, three of us had our plate ready and the other 2 waited a good 10 extra minutes. Maybe more organization over how to distribute table tables as a group. Nice experience and they also have alcoholic drinks which seem tasty and fresh. The lady that assisted me seemed hesitant to offer me the booth but we didn't want to wait too long and we were able to squeeze ourselves in the booth. I had the ceviche (cazuela). It tasted good but not as good as the ceviche they give you when you arrive so you can snack while you wait for your food. My family members had clams, momias, aguachile, and fajitas. They said their food was fine. Surprisingly, out of all the meals we ordered the ceviches took the longest to get to us. We were seated when the soccer game started and my mom and I got our ceviches close to the halftime, that would be about 40 minutes waiting. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of the time it took to get the food. Plus, when my dad tried to ask one of the waitresses for assistance she pretty much ignored him. I dont come here very often because it is far for me. Despite the time it took to get our food I would still visit if im in the area again. Just need to make sure it is not on a holiday.

I ordered some takeout here on a weekday evening around 8:00 p.m. The restaurant was pretty dead when I arrived to pick It up; there was only one couple eaating inside. The food smelled incredible though. I was worried when I was ordering because the butter chicken was $18 which seemed reasonable until I realized that didn't come with anything else, not even rice. I added some rice, some garlic naan, and a couple of samosas and it was over $30 for my dinner before tip. I had high hopes. Did I mention it smelled amazing? The ride home with that bag of food in the car was agonizing. When I got home there was about 2 and 1/2 cups of butter chicken, two cups of rice, two samosas, and a good sized naan, so you could actually probably feed two people with this meal. That made me feel a lot better about the cost. The food itself was very good. The butter chicken was spicier than I am used to, so I was only able to eat a small portion of it, but I finished the rest the next day. Leftovers are always nice. I would probably skip the naan next time, but the samosas were very tasty and a good size, so I would definitely get those again. They were also spicy, but not as overpoweringly so as the butter chicken. I would definitely come back to this location. The employees were nice and the food was yummy and satisfying.

We made a brunch reservation for 11:30am, though we ended up ordering off the regular menu rather than brunch. That was the first odd note of the afternoon. Before the appetizers, they brought out focaccia with herbed butter, a nice alternative to the standard bread basket. The calamari appetizer with marinara and tartar sauce was fine, nothing memorable. My mom's eggplant parmesan arrived warm but not hot and cooled down quickly. The pizzas, a Funghi and a Margherita, were cooked well in the stone oven and were genuinely the best thing on the table, but they arrived warm and cooled down quickly, the same issue as my mom's eggplant parmesan. With the air conditioning blowing directly overhead, hot food didn't really stand a chance. The service is where things unraveled. When we were first seated, the manager came by and helped with my dad's walker, which was a nice touch. After that it went downhill. When my dad asked for something light, the waiter recommended the carbonara, a dish built on guanciale, grana, egg, and black pepper. That's not light by any definition. It's a basic gap in menu knowledge that does the guest a disservice. The menu also had salmon, ricotta toast, and eggs in purgatory. My dad also asked for red pepper flakes to go with his pizza and they took unusually long to arrive, so he had to flag down a different waiter to get them. The waiter noticed I was drinking my Bloody Mary slowly and offered a different version that actually tasted better. If there's a preferred version, lead with it. When I made eye contact to signal we were ready to pay, he acknowledged it but continued socializing with a coworker before finally coming over and taking my card, as if he was surprised we wanted to pay. When a customer is ready, they're ready. He took my card, asked if we wanted dessert, went to grab the dessert menu, then handed it back. Just hold onto the card. I'm paying with the same card regardless. Handing it back makes no sense. The restaurant itself is beautiful and spacious, with a full bar, outdoor seating, a small store at the entrance, and a vegetable garden out front. It's a great setting. Dinner service might be a different experience, but on this visit the dining room wasn't particularly full, which made it more noticeable that the staff prioritized socializing over the guests in front of them. For the record, the suggested tip on the receipt started at 18%. On the way out, two hostesses stood by and did nothing while my parents, one of whom was on a walker, made their way to the door on their own. Getting the door is common courtesy for the elderly. Pietro's has the ingredients of a great restaurant. The space is beautiful, the stone oven pizza is genuinely good, and the brunch menu has real potential. But a restaurant is only as good as its execution, and right now the service and the food temperatures are letting the kitchen down. They just need to meet it.

We sat inside, where the space features exposed brick, artwork throughout, and very comfortable seating... my partner specifically pointed that out. The layout includes a mix of seating areas, which gives it a more relaxed, layered feel. The bar area, known as the Ghost Lounge, adds a darker, more lounge-like element to the overall atmosphere. Service was excellent. Our server, Lacy, was friendly, attentive, and witty - easily one of the best servers we've had in a while. For drinks, I had a local Oak Farm red wine that was excellent. Others in our group had mimosas, which were well received... especially the grapefruit mimosa, which my partner really enjoyed. For food, there were several highlights. My partner had the chicken and waffles and loved it; I tried some and would agree it was very good. Another person in our group ordered the steak breakfast tacos, which came as a set of three. They only ate two, and I had the third and it was delicious and something I would recommend. Another in our group had the eggs Benedict and thought it was excellent. I had the biscuits and gravy with fried eggs. It was okay, but not something I would go out of my way to order again. In terms of value, prices felt consistent with the quality of the food, service, and overall setting. It's not a budget brunch spot, but it feels appropriate for the experience. Overall, it was a really enjoyable Easter brunch with great service, a comfortable and well-designed interior, and several strong menu items. I'd rate it a 4 out of 5, though if half-points were an option, this would land closer to a 4.5. We'd definitely come back.

I've usually had coleslaw inside of a BBQ pork, chicken, or fish sandwich. But the combo of tangy coleslaw with tender meatloaf was fantastic and creative. The bread was soft and fluffy. I was full from appetizers and dessert, so took most of my sandwich home for dinner. Portions are big and satisfying. For dessert we shared the chocolate lava cake and lemon cake with raspberry sauce and whipped cream. All 10/10! Service was very friendly and the place is big, bright, and welcoming.
