Nice atmosphere. Food was extremely salty. I had a steak burrito and my wife had three tacos with chicken and both meats weresuper salty as well as the chips. I ordered a lemonade and the girl serving it filled it to the brim with ice si I asked her to take out some of the ice. She told me she couldn't. When I told her I didn't want that much ice she agreed to empty out some ice, but was told by the other girl at the counter that they she not allowed to fill the glass to the top. There were a lot of people in line so I didn't want to make a scene, but it's a principal thing with me. If I pay for a glass of lemonade, I expect the full glass of lemonade. The most miserable staff I've ever encountered in the food industry seems like I'm pulling teeth just to try to get extra chicken on my bowl. No one smiles. What used to be an old favorite 6-7 years ago has seemingly went downhill. This place used to smoke chipotle and to me was everything a fast casual Mexican American joint should aspire to be. While the portions remain large, the overcooked humongous portion of rice lacked that care and attention to detail I remember so well from the past. Lots of high school aged workers/customers. The place felt clean and good decor. I was confused on what costed extra such as sauces or veggies so our total was pretty expensive for 2 people. The tortilla chips were great but I felt the bag could be fuller . The food was decent, a tad bland but maybe because I didn't get the right sauces. Really need to have a how to roll a burrito seminar with employees, at least 50% of the time the wrap is split, 40% of the time it's so loose it won't hold together, 10% of the time it's ok. really annoying to get it home or back at work to have it fall apart after the first bite. Went here recently with my son the girl was so nice to us and helped us through the order when we said we haven't been before. everything tasted amazing and fresh the staff even made recommendations to us for salsas! Great atmosphere might have to go back and buy one of the pieces of art on the walls. Love it!! read more

If I could give no stars I would, the workers here were AWFUL every time we asked for something on our taco he rolled his eyes or made a face , he was then looking at another worker and they were making faces at each other making fun of our order. To top it off seconds after biting into my taco I was met with a huge chicken bone. Definitely will not be going here again save your time and money. read more

The setup is similar to Moe's or Chipotle as far as menu and ordering process. (Similar options like burrito, salads, nachos, etc) We visited on a weekday evening around 7pm and the place was really busy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food all tasted fresh. Las Olas Taqueria has been a staple in Hampton for quite some time. Great place to get a quick lunch or dinner my favorite is the chicken rice bowl with a side order of homemade chips and guacamole. Always consistent and the food is fresh and made as needed it seems. read more

When i reflect on my experience at this establishment the only thing that comes to mind is the disaster of a meal i just ate. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and apparently here that means just a cooked cheese tortilla with rice, chicken, and beans thrown on top. In what world does a quesadilla come with all of the fix ins on top of the quesadilla?? on top??? on top?? on top???? In what word does a MEXICAN restraunt not know how to make a quesadilla??? They literally gave me a fork and knife to eat my food with, as a big fan on mexican food i feel that this was just a really sad presentation of the meal which showed the lack of effort put in, needless to say the food itself was arguably worse than the presentation. On our way through NH, we both felt like Mexican food. I knew it would be possibly a risk, since true Mexican food is hard to find in new England, but we were hungry enough to give them a try anyway. The restaurant was easy to find, right off a main road, with plenty, convenient parking. Once inside, it looked like a mix between a hip chipotle and a beach café. The options for sauces, dishes, and meats were clearly presented, and it was easy to decide what we wanted. I was really impressed with their veggie options including sweet potatoes, mixed veggies, and sautéed mushrooms. We both opted for a make your own burrito, with chips and guac on the side. I think the first most impressive thing were the sauces. We each tried a few different ones, and they were all good. Next, the guac was super fresh and packed with onions, tomatoes, and other goodies. Lastly, the chips were hot, crunchy, and salty, just the way we like them. Prices were good, service was fast, and quality was high for the type of food. Downsides were the line moves slowly, the burrito makers were grumpy, and the tables in the dining area were dirty and sticky. Overall, a solid option for Mexican-ish dining, and pretty good for new England standards. I would definitely return here to try them again if I were in the area. read more

This place is great for what it is- a local version of Chipotle. I mean no harm in this comment. It was extremely good food but not a typical sit down Mexican food spot. I didn't read into the reviews prior to deciding on the place so I was a little disappointed that it wasn't a traditional restaurant. We had burrito bowls which were fresher than chipotle but same general concept. There's nothing overly "creative" on the menu. They do offer a few beer options and a canned margarita- all of which I would pass on. In my opinion this is a great quick lunch spot while on break at work or to order to go. Ordered a quesadilla to go. Found out after that they piled the meat and toppings on top of a cheese quesadilla. So, when you get it home it's a soggy mess. They should call it an inside out quesadilla since it's not a quesadilla. Or,at least make you aware that it's served very differently than normal. They also mess up take out every time I've ordered. So pleasantly surprised by this place I visited for the first time. It's set up kind of like Chipotle where you choose your type of dish and protein and then go down the line where you choose your toppings. The line moves fast and their staff was slinging tacos and burritos at top speed! I got the chicken nachos and the girl slammed a huge fistful of cheese on the basket of chips and popped it into the oven. I could tell this was gonna be good. Then I added black beans, pico de galllo, sour cream, cilantro, guacamole (which they do not charge extra for! at least not on the nachos) and a delicious spicy aioli. OK, so I love the quesadillas here. They start with a cheese quesadilla, cooked folded and placed in the container and then top it with your choice of rice, beans, meat, veggies, etc. It's a great way to enjoy a quesadilla. I agree with Tony p 100%. We have been to all 3 locations. It has become unbearable to watch an employee beg for a tip! The location in Maine turned the monitor around to see the "recommend tip" this was pre covid-19 we had stood in line like cattle for 20 minutes! My response was "you're kidding me". On the way home, I stopped at Las Olas Taqueria in Hampton for a quick dinner. I like the nice color themes here. It was Thursday and the Francisco's Pollo Mexicano (spicy chicken) was on special, so I ordered a burrito with the special chicken. The good sized burrito ($6.75 plus tax) was made to order quickly, a warm flour soft tortilla stuffed with melted cheese, rice, choice of beans (I got black), pico de gallo, pineapple salsa, spicy chicken, lettuce, cilatro, lime juice, and sour cream. The staff was very helpful in describing the fillings and choices for my burrito. The burrito tasted very fresh with good flavors and the right amount of spiciness. I would like to state this is MY FIRST TIME EVER WRITING A REVIEW LIKE THIS but I can't shake what happened If I could give this place zero stars I absolutely would.. what a shame. I was so so excited to come here. Me and my fiancé came from New York to Hampton for the weekend and one of our good friends was so very excited to take us here until she was sadly mistaken and had to apologize on the behalf of the establishment when she watched how we were treated. The costumer service was unbearable to say the least.. me and my fiancé were made to feel stupid and we were treated so poorly. I have never wanted to up and run from a place after in my life. Las Olas!! How could you have descended from burrito heaven to hell since my last visit 9 months ago? I ordered the chicken burrito with black beans, rice, pico de gallo, spicy aioli and sour cream. The burrito was literally ice cold as I took my first bite. This was because today's crew had failed on heat management. Didn't heat up the tortilla enough, allowed the hot ingredients to become tepid and then used inappropriately cold sauces. Beyond that, the chicken had no flavor and tasted liked textured vegetable protein in gravy. This was on New Year's Day so perhaps the catastrophe was the result of a back up vacation crew. Super cute little chipotle style restaurant with always fresh ingredients. One of my favorite places to go when I want a quick bite to eat. The flavors of the toppings are always immaculate, and the homemade tortilla chips and guac are to die for. I usually like to get vegetarian soft tacos, and I love how they roll them up into little burritos so they're easier to eat without making a mess. This has probably been my favorite place for the past 3 years because it's just so good. I simply do not understand how it only gets three and a half stars because it's so amazing. The food is so fresh and has many options for everyone to at least find something they would like or fit their needs. The service is very quick, the definitely have their system down perfectly, and the people working are always very friendly. My go to order is the soft flour shell tacos with sweet potatoes, black beans, pineapple salsa, pico de gallo, and lettuce. I have also had the quesadillas and burritos before and they are definitely just as good. I also know many people who rave about the bowls. So I had a different review up from years ago that was 4 stars...I will openly admit this. I know covid has happened and they are trying to keep the interaction low, BUT they ask for tips with their point of sale system. At a fast food restaurant? I mean really? Pricey place and I'm surprised that a"taco" is a rolled up tortilla with these guys. I did find they had hard shelled true taco shells but I fully laughed at a few things during my order. The quesadillas fixings we picked were dumped onto the quesadillas, not into it. Sure the menu days they do this, but I don't get the point. I find it funny that the quesadillas are only one half of a circle, i.e. 1 tortilla filled over, instead of 2 tortillas, like every self respecting Mexican restaurant would do. My order was 3 tacos and 1 quesadilla and the total cost was over 20 bucks. I'm never one to criticize places to employees faces, but I straight out laughed at the cashier because, having grown up in the border, these prices are ludacris. I've eaten at places that offer 3 tacos for $5-7 total, not per taco, and they came with rice and beans and quesadillas are cheap, like 3-5 bucks. What should've been just over 19 dollars was way more. The food isn't bad, but it sure tastes more like a Californian surfer version of Mexican than the real deal. I guess I'll just make my own and be able to feed 6 people with the cost of feeding 2 at Las Olas. read more
