This place is over priced on everything. They charge horchata $3.50 for a regular size and they made it super sweet and with coconut in it. It's really bizarre to have coconut in horchata... isn't it should be made with rice ingredients? Also, they charged me $1.00 for doing a carry out. Why do I have to pay extra for ordering a carry out? Furthermore, I paid $12.99 for a very skinny steak burrito and with asking for onions to add on it, they charged me $0.99 for a super small pinch of chopped onions. Overall, this was my first time and also the last time to go to this restaurant. Oh they also charged me $8 for a small size of guacamole with the thinnest chips. BridgeMill is in the house! Half pitcher of margaritas are $14.95, which is a pretty good deal. The small, chunky guacamole (7.95) was actually plenty. Salsa with chips was great and love the booth seating. This place gets noisy on a Friday night. It's the place to be! Live and fun ambiance if you're hungry for good steak fajitas. Great for family reunions and for running into local neighbors. Super fast service! Which was good because we came hungry. read more

Great location convenient to home. It can be very busy and crowded at times, but love having it close by. Some items can be on the pricier side, but food is good. Service is typically fast, friendly, and efficient. Can't go wrong with cheese dip and quesadillas. They have a large menu with a lot of options. I personally love the soup, chipotle chicken tacos, chicken enchilada, and shredded chicken quesadillas. They also offer a lunch menu with discounted combo meals available during the week. The parking area isn't large and you may end up parking towards publix. They have indoor seating, a bar area, and outdoor seating. They also have TVs inside. They offer specials just ask your server. DO NOT EAT HERE. We came down to this location after Nuevos Amigos quoted us a 2 hr wait and we regret it. Our server was rude, food was simply ok. I checked our bank the next day and they charged us almost DOUBLE what our check was. My husband returned to the restaurant to settle the check and the manager wouldn't issue a refund and said he needed to speak to the waiter first. Absolutely absurd. Before our butts could even hit the cushions, chips and salsa were placed in front of us, and the chips were were still warm. Hubby ordered the pastor tacos in the corn tortilla. I had one and they were great. Hubby likes them because they were simple and had a great taste to them. I had the steak tacos in the corn tortilla. My steak was not seasoned at all. They were quite bland for Mexican food. However, they were cooked really well and were nice and juicy. My side of rice and beans were tasty. We ordered the pastor tacos to go for the kids and when I packed my leftovers in the bag, was pleased to see they had given us chips and salsa to go as well. Hubby was thirsty and they couldn't get to his cup fast enough. The restaurant was fairly empty when we got there, but had filled up when we left. Wow this restaurant has gone downhill dramatically over the past few years. Chips were super, super stale and tasted like they had been reheated several times over the past week before being finally served to us. Portions were tiny and not worth the money. I ordered the tapatios special which was supposed to come with steamed spinach but just had a handful of raw spinach tossed on top. My dad ordered a salad that had about a cup's worth of lettuce underneath the meat/cheese. All the food was generally lukewarm (although the plates were scalding hot at least! Lol). We used to love Las Palmas, but please... do yourself a favor and just wait in line at Nuevos Amigos from now on. read more

I was craving some really good Mexican food here in Georgia, as I am from California and Mexican food out there is like going to McDonald's....lol. I had wanted to go to another place that I had seen on T.V. and actually went and walked out....never believe what you see on T.V. My friend stated to me that he would take me to his favorite place and seeing that he's from California and knows what is good Mexican food we ended up here at Las Palmas. The food and the service was great!!!.... My friend comes here all the time and so he ordered the #16 (his usual). I ordered the chimechanga, which was great!!! I absolutely love this restaurant. It's been a local family hang out since we moved here in 2002. We know all of the waiters by name and they know our orders by heart. It's a great atmosphere - very casual and extremely welcoming and friendly. This is a neighborhood place that really brings the community together. You will see kids after athletic practice, ladies night out, families, couples, etc. It has something for everyone and they have discovered that ever elusive secret sauce that keeps you coming back for more. Since I've moved away from my mom's house which is right down the street, I always make a point to grab a meal here when I visit. It's that good. I never crave Mexican unless I know I am visiting Canton. The enchiladas are my favorite dish. The sauce they make on site is far superior to any other place I've frequented. No jarred sauces here - all fresh and authentic. Sometimes I take home pints of their salsa with me too. It's the perfect consistency (not too thin, but not chunky at all) and has the perfect kick that warms your mouth at the end of each bite. My brother favors the steak burritos and my mom loves the nachos. It's a huge order but an inside tip - even though it isn't written on the menu you can ask for a half order and still have plenty to take for lunch the next day. This is one of my favorite restaurants because you always feel like you're among family here and I know I'll always run into someone I know (even if it's just my waiter). My family and I eat there regularly. We love it. Like at most restaurants I frequent, I have my favorite items on the menu. The burritos delights here are great. The cheese sauce is excellent. Also,their fajitas are delicious and one order is plenty of food for both my wife and me to share and take home some for later. One important area for us at any Mexican restaurant is the salsa. Las Palmas has really excellent salsa. The ingredients to all menu items are fresh and to us very delicious. As far as service is concerned, the staff is friendly, attentive, and very efficient. The atmosphere is inviting and authentic. The decor and music set the mood and for a neighborhood restaurant are higher than what one would expect. I had Enchilades Verdes (3 shredded chicken enchiladas wrapped in corn tortillas with the best green sauce I've ever had), this menu item included rice and shredded lettuce topped with Pico de gallo and several avocado slices (vegetables were fresh and tasty). I just moved into the area and needed my beef enchilada fix. Las Palmas was close by and fit the bill nicely. The services was good. My drink was kept full. The place was clean. Food was hot including the chips. Salsa was good. I arrived right after the restaurant opened so I'll go back during non-peak hours to see if the service and food are still good. So far this may be my new go to place for enchiladas. Can't wait to try the margaritas. read more

When we got there we had to wait about 30 minutes until we got seated, after we got seated it took about 15 minutes for them to even give us our drinks. The service was very slow, and it seemed like they were short staffed. I got the taco salad but it was "drowning" in the cheese dip, and I'm not even sure what else. But overall the restaurant wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst. The people were nice so that's all that mattered. read more
