Street parking only in a residential area so you may have to do a few laps around/walk. The menu offers lots of seafood options + authentic dishes I have not seen before, however if you're interested you may have to ask or look up descriptions as it is mostly in Spanish. We did come about an hour before closing and they were out of some meat and aquas frescas. Food portions were huge, my only thing was that it was not salty/lacks flavor on its own but you can at least adjust it to your preference. We got 2 different burritos (asada and al pastor) and a plate of carne asada fries. Environment is pretty lively as they have a separate room for parties/karaoke and dancing.

Food was great, and the service was super friendly. They checked on us often to make sure everything was good. The interior is really unique with great artwork, and the huge TVs make it a great spot to watch games. The only downside was the room next door--the noise was insane, and security didn't bother closing the doors until other customers stepped in and did it themselves. Other than that, it was a great dinner spot with lots of good options on the menu.

If friends from out of town came through, I would take them to Las Pencas de Maguey for a fun dinner in Daly City/Colma. They have some unique dishes like the Trompo de Pastor $29.50. It is a table side personal vertical grill, kind of like a shawarma. They even put a pinepple on top so it drips the juices down to the meat for extra flavor. The al pastor was flavorful with charred tips, bright adobo sauce and that beautiful marinated pork taste. It came with tortillas, free chips & salsa. Three types of hot sauce are available at the table. My Modelo beer $7 was served in a bottle, ice cold. Later I saw that they had it on tap at the bar. I wonder why she didn't give me a pint instead of the bottle. My preference is tap. Tables around me had drinks with little umbrellas on them. If you are into it, ask the bartender what drinks they are. As for the restaurant, the Yelp hours are incorrect. The waitress told me the restaurant is open until 1am on the weekends, the club/dance room is open until 2am. On the weekdays, there is karaoke in the other room. On the weekends, the other room is a club/dancing with bouncers. Bring some earplugs if are sensitive to noise. Service was excellent. The restaurant room was full at 9pm on a Saturday night. By the time I left at 10pm, tables were available.

Came in and place was nice and clean. Seated promptly. Food was ok. The little build your own tacos thing was cute. Burrito had good flavor. Calamari was eh. The only downside for me is it was hard for us to communicate with our server. I asked for beans on the side and even used Google Translate and somehow the beans never made it at all. Bathrooms seem to be under construction. Parking is street parking.

Greetings to all, this is my first time to this restaurant and it was a 4star experience: The parking outside was pretty much at will, this is An C for me. Inside the restaurant itself , was a moderately lit establishment with ample lighting for each person seated at a table. This was An B for me. The service : our waitress was very kind and friendly; and very much on point with our orders. This was An A for me. The display of the foods was outstanding , but some of dishes could have been more flavorful; but overall This was a B for me , Nice job to the restaurant staff.

I always passed by this place but never tried it for some reason. This place is a gem. The server was very nice and friendly. She made sure we were doing good. The food was delicious. The place is amazing and there was a guitarist performing when I got there. I will be back!

Food: has the camarones a la Diablo. Succulent and spicy. Loved the beans in the separate container. Hearty and had a rich flavor. Service: friendly and quick. Ambiance: very large space with murals that brighten the room. Loved the chandelier and small fireplace. As a new establishment, it felt empty but hopefully in time there will be a strong customer base. Looking forward to trying other items.

The best burrito I have ever tasted; experienced. The visual of the cutaway of the split burrito is also the most beautiful image of a burrito I have also ever seen. The grilling of the tortilla was perfect: even light brown; not hard or dried out; a perfect balance of texture and nutty taste while easy to bite into. The design elements of the establishment are inviting and celebratory. The previous establishment, while a decades-long El Salvadorian restaurant, has been supplanted by a unique Mexican establishment. In addition to food and drink served, they host a life performance dance hall or venue in the back.

Wow you guys! You walk in and it's welcoming. Heads up the menu is in Spanish with no English description so if you're not familiar with the language bring a friend or use google translate. The food yall! The presentation is spectacular and the taste is divine. The salsa verde that comes with the chips is killer! It reminds me of my mom's salsa. I've been there a couple times and this is what I've ordered so far: Trompito de Pastor: literally a mini Al pastor set up full of taco prep things. Very yummy very cute! Ribeye: my husband had it wow! It's a big plate so go on an empty stomach! Shrimp tacos: I'm not a fan of bell peppers but woooh these were delicious. The tortillas are hand made and that's my favorite thing! La parrillada: it's a mini griddle with the following items - thinly sliced steak, chorizo, cactus pads, grilled chicken, cheese, jalapeño, lemon and some ribs. Esquites: bruh hella yummy. Corn kernels with mayonnaise and cheese Molcajete: a volcanic rock pestle filled with salsa and the same ingredients as the parrillada! Fajitas: delicious!!! Breaded shrimp: didn't try this one but my friend had it he said it was the best shrimp he'd had in a while! All of them came with rice and beans which were uuuugh so good. Reminded me of my grandmas cooking. We went on a Saturday night when they have karaoke and the vibe is party!!! It is a little loud so if you're not into that be prepared!

I like the authenticity of the flavor of each dish, especially the menudo I got. Tasted cajun mix and fajitas too, so flavorful! Staff were friendly, checks on us every time she goes around. The place is so lively and gives that fun vibe!

el grupo se escucha bonito y el DJ están bien. pero el servicio al cliente no son amables y se tarda al dar la comida y son mal aducados

It was our first time trying this restaurant and everything was 10/10. Our server Katherine was so sweet and attentive. The food was so authentic and made with so much love. $20 for a fajita plate with 3 different meats is such a steal! Especially living in the Bay Area where everything is overpriced. Haha But Their style of cooking was the best. Thank you so much and we will be back again!

Tasty food. Friendly service. Full bar. Yummy margaritas. I'd prefer tortilla chips over the pork cracklings, but otherwise recommended.

We needed a quick bite on a Sunday, so I placed an online order on their website to be picked up at 4 pm. The website was easy and straight forward to navigate, order and pay. In the back of planet fitness, there's a door for Mesoresto and a sign with their number so you can give them a call. I got there 3 minutes before 4 pm, so I called to notify them I was outside. The guy came out after a minute and handed me everything I ordered. Friendly, efficient service! ***OUR PICKS*** COMBO APPETIZER ~ Falafel, hummus, muhammara, baba ghanoush, dolma and labneh. In this combo app, you get 1 falafel and 2 dolmas. The rest were spreads which came with slices of pita bread (I believe there were 2 cut in half to make 4). Everything was flavorful and on point. The labneh was very rich and creamy! I don't think I've had it this thick before, but it was very good and tart. We split the falafel, which was still crunchy outside and tender inside. Hummus wasn't as smooth as some, but still good. Baba Ghanoush was smokey and tasty and the Muhammara was sweet and tangy from the pomegranate molasses with good texture from the walnuts. Excellent starter! 4.5/5 CHICKEN SHAWARMA WRAP ~ Marinated grilled chicken with cucumbers, onions, yogurt sauce, spicy sauce, and house sauce. Moist and tender chicken with a good amount of sauce, so it was flavorful and not at all dry. A little bit of kick from the spicy sauce, which is a bit different. I was only able to eat half since I also ate some of the appetizer spreads with pita bread. I thoroughly enjoyed it! 5/5 KUFTA HALAB WRAP ~ this was with beef and lamb meat. It has some fried bits of potatoes like hash brown in it. Delicious and different than the usual wraps. It also comes with cucumbers, onions, yogurt, spicy, and house sauce. 5/5 Everything was well seasoned and prepared. They are fairly generous with reasonable prices. Glad we were able to try them. When we're craving middle eastern food, we'll be sure to hit them up again!

It was packed at 5:00 p.m., which seemed like a great sign, and it has the feel of a solid casual Mediterranean restaurant. We ordered the beef kebab dinner and the falafel dinner. We requested the beef be cooked medium rare, but when we got home, it was closer to well done. Unfortunately, the beef was quite tough and difficult to eat. We were hungry after our hike, so we ate it anyway, but it was disappointing. The falafel dinner was a little better, though nothing particularly memorable. I was surprised given the high ratings, but after reading more reviews afterward, I noticed others had also mentioned that the meat can be overcooked. Since we usually order takeout, I probably wouldn't return because it's too much of a gamble if the meat isn't cooked as requested. It's unfortunate, as the restaurant was busy and seemed well-liked, but this visit didn't live up to our expectations.

The Kofte plate was also pretty good, but again a little bland for me compared to the Kofte at Mazra or a koobideh at one of favorite Persian spots.
