Uneven tortilla, thick area no filling

We can't eat pupusas that often, but when we do we order from this restaurant. They normally are not that bad, but this time they were not good! You can tell the difference when they have a new cook! These ones didn't have enough filling, they were uneven, and thick empty parts and with no filling!

Las Pupusas is a casual Salvadorian Restaurant that offers breakfast, Salvadorian foods and some Mexican Foods. This is not a fancy place. Mostly soft beverages are served but I did notice some bottled beers on the menu. We ordered at the counter and sat ourselves but I noticed that they do have wait service. The food that we tried was all reasonably good. Portions were large and prices were low. We tried the Salpicon (cold ground rib eye salad), fried tilapia, spinach and cheese pupusa, and cheese and herbs pupusa. We thought the spinach and cheese pupusa was delicious and better than the herb pupusa because the herb one lacked herbs but was still tasty. The slaw that comes with the pupusas was spicier than what I've tried from other Salvadorian restaurants. Their spin on the Salvadorian cold beef salad was tasty and refreshing. The fried tilapia was slightly over cooked but still good with shattering crisp skin. We also enjoyed the hand made tortillas that came with our meals they were also delicious. Yelp needs to fix the rating for this restaurant. The food really was reasonably good, portions were large and prices were low. Service was ok. We were even checked on by staff.

The service was great, although they quoted me 15 minutes it was like 25, but well worth it. The pupusas were delicious. Perfect temperature, the dough was tasty and the beans cheese and chicharrón were also delicious. The ambiance in there was calm and comfortable. Big seating capacity. Can't wait to come back and try other options. We had to go with pupusas for our first time.

I've been wanting to come here and try a pupusa, so I finally mustered up the courage to do it today. Let me tell you- it was worth it!! My mother in law is Colombian and she makes arepas so I'm familiar with those and I heard that a pupusa is similar to an arepa in that it's made with masa, but also like a quesadilla- because the cheese and meat is in the middle- an arepa has the meat and cheese mixed in with the masa. I ordered the pork and cheese pupusa, and I also got a chicken tamale. The tamale was so juicy and the pupusa came with a cabbage slaw and a sauce. All items were delicious and the service was great. The ladies working there were kind and made me feel welcome. I'll be back again!

Curtido. It was fresh and could use a couple more days to soak up the flavor.

Very good pupusas! They also have rice flour pupusas. Staff was very friendly. Ordered more to go.

Mood - California Street Market Cravings So I was really craving some Pupusas. And I was honestly not in the mood to drive all the way to Cali. I've seen this restaurant many times and we figured today was the day to try it. Upon entering you have the option to dine in or take out. We opted for dine in and was told to sit wherever we choose. Menus were given and drink order was taken. We opted for the Carne Asada Quesadilla, Chicharron con Queso Pupusas, and of course the Revueltas Pupusas. GOLLY GUNTHER nothing disappointed in the slightest. We were all highly pleased the choices we made. Interior is good size. There are several seating arrangements. Everything was very clean. Music was playing in the background. Would most def recommend- pricing was reasonable for the portions. The customer service was very friendly and hospitable. It was a really great experience. Location is Craig / Revere- ample parking

NOW^ Regardless of YELPs fault for not having their hours and me not waiting for them to answer, their Pupusas are AMAZING!!! I ordered 2 1/2 dozens (30) pupusas for under $40... They are a bit small, but PERFECTLY made. The Rebultas (beans and cheese) were so perfectly moist yet crispy, and the chicharrón were too. I didn't try the cheese only, but I'm sure it was great too! I look forwards to going back and trying ALL their flavors :) Definitely going to return and take friends too. Too bad it's 25 minutes from me. Service: The cashier was very very nice. The 30 pupusas were ready in 30 minutes. My advice, order ahead like the other Yelpers said. I ordered mine in person, but I went grocery shopping across the street before picking them up. Environment: the community is okay.. not the best. There is no sit down place, so you would need to eat them in your car or take them home. Parking: The Pupusa truck is next to an oil change location, so there is plenty of parking around. Feedback: I only wish this place was open late at night after a few drinks :P ‍

The cheese they use is tasty... not just some mozzarella. It doesn't have a ton of chicken inside but it was served fresh which was nice. I prob should have eaten it first bc I wasn't fast enough and my cheese got cold. The food only took about 10 min. The inside has lots of tables. Their bathroom was clean. I think there were only two workers, both young ladies. What's weird was there was no menu up and no paper menus out. Thank goodness I looked online and figured out what I wanted ahead of time. I also ordered fries. Their red sauce wasn't as good as other pupusa places tho. I'd def come back... prob this weekend. Update: so we came back again two days later. Driving over there was very sentimental and nostalgic to say the least I was able to tell my kids I grew up here and yes I am proud of it. This place is next to a taco shop on the east side that's been there since I was a kid called Tacos Los Torritos a staple on the east side if you know you know. Walking into Pupusas Los Primos the ambiance was bringing back nostalgia type vibes going into a mom and pop spot nothing fancy just genuine and authentic. The menu was surprisingly versatile they didn't just have pupusas they have lunch plates and dinner plates which was a plus. Being in this establishment makes me proud because coming to a mom and pop restaurant is very comforting to me because growing up on the east side of Las Vegas these type places have soul and character. With the cultural El Salvador art on the wall with a sign that says "kind people are my kind of people" it's really a vibe cause I feel that. We ordered the kids chicken fingers and fries and the adults had the pork and cheese pupusas and the carne asada one. Basically we had one of each. These came out fresh and hot came with a side of a slaw type garnish that you typically put on top if your into that. This adds an element to the pupusas that just makes it hit. This also came with some house hot sauce which a must. These pupusas were hot, fresh, flavorful, and cheesy go hand in hand with the slaw and hot sauce. Very delicious when you pair it with a jarrito soda omg hit the spot. The service felt like a home vibe which they did a very good job of we are definitely going back to try more items when we stumble on the east side of Vegas.
