This place at the date we went to the location was very hot the AC in the dinning room was not working properly. That day it was about 110 outside. Location appears to be an old Taco Bell converted. Service was friendly but gosh it was slow. If it's because they make it to order that great but at least check up on us. Make sure we are doing ok. Food was ok great size and with 2 I was pretty full for the chicharrón with beans. If I was in the area might stop but would not be my first option.

A couple coworkers and I were doing some business in the area during lunch time, when we came across Pupusería El Zunzal. We all agreed that pupusas sound great, and ate in. No wait on a weekday at lunchtime. The workers only spoke Spanish, which was no problem with 2 of us being able to translate. The menu is also in Spanish. I ordered 2 pupusas de chorizo and 2 revueltas. They came out in about 10 minutes or so, steaming hot and fresh. These things hit the spot and checked all the boxes for me as far as pupusas go! One of us ordered the plantain dish with beans and cream. It was my first time trying, given Im not super familiar with Salvadoran food. It was absolutely incredible, and I'm so grateful he shared! Sweet and savory heaven! Also, don't forget Salvadoran soda. It was my first time having it but man is it delicious- comparable to Colombian soda. Great little hole in the wall with great eats!

Stopped by for a quick lunch after doing errands. This place has a drive-thru, but I wanted to come in to cool down. It's super hot in Vegas today! They have cervezas, but they didn't have Carta Blanca. I got the lorocco pupusa. The pupusa arrived jumbo size. One was enough along with cabbage and sauce. Love the taste. Love the service. Love the price. I ordered two more for to-go. Gonna enjoy these tonight!

Saddens me to say this, but I spent about 45 minutes waiting for my food which I usually wouldn't be that upset about except for the fact that when I got my food (casamiento #19 on the menu) the beans were dry and the eggs were salty. Not only that, but we decided to take our food to go because I had somewhere to be and it was just taking too long, but when I opened my order of "tacos", they just put the carne asada with the tortillas on top! I started laughing because it was so dumb that I had to assemble my own tacos before driving. I was hoping to just eat it while on the go, hence the "to go" but oh man this was the funniest experience ever.

The latter two are vegetarian and I wanted to go for a vegetarian friendly restaurant just for them. The olive oil tasting was my idea so I also had to choose the restaurant. My LTP and I actually went to a different tapas restaurant about a month ago and we loved it. So I wanted to try one of these again. Our tasting was scheduled to start at 6:00pm and I booked a reservation for 4:00pm through OpenTable. They have a very spacious patio, but due to the excessive heat warning in place at the time, we decided to dine inside. I didn't look at their hours of operation beforehand, so when we walked in, it was empty. Then I noticed that they open at 4:00pm on Saturday's and we were literally the first customers inside. We got a spacious table near the back of the restaurant, where our waiter for the day was Zach. He explained to us that all their food on the menu is based out of Spain, especially the paella, which takes about 40 minutes to cook and is meant to serve about two-four people. We started off with some drinks, where I got the mango margarita, my LTP and my dad respectively got the Atomic Duck and the El Pato Loco Mexican Lager from Able Baker, and my mom and my best friend's mom and stepdad shared a bottle of Chardonnay. While the margarita was on a bit of the sweet side compared to other margaritas I've had, it was still really good and it had a really fruity taste to it. We ordered the following and all six of us shared most of them; short rib pintxo, pork belly pave, patatas bravas, ole mis croquetas, iberico dates, and chicken tinga/braise short rib empanadas. Initially, I ordered just the chicken tinga for myself and my LTP was supposed to get the braise short rib, but my plate had chicken tinga and braise short rib together. That was ok, though, because both the chicken and short rib were absolutely delicious. The short rib pintxo came on a stick, with the rib falling off the stick as I took the first bite out of it. The pork belly pave was cooked perfectly. The patatas brava were spicy, but I would say 'good' spicy. The croquetas were overall one of my favorites; when I sliced it down the middle with my fork, the mashed potato filling spilled out of it. Hands down, Tres was a fantastic restaurant. The portions weren't too big or too small and everything here was so good. Would love to sit on their patio when the weather becomes cooler!

They have glorious, large shrimps and an assortment of tapas and side dishes. They do them in small matches, so they are really fresh. The owner is here so we got to talk to him a little bit, solid dude. The staff was great helpful and polite, but not that corporate kind of nice where they chase you down to say hello and interrupt you every third bite. Will definitely be back on Sundays and I can't wait to try to full menu. I didn't try anything else because the brunch spread was so great.

The ladies at the front were very friendly and let me sample a few options to make sure I picked something I'd enjoy. I ended up choosing the Salvadoran horchata, and it did not disappoint. It had a unique flavor compared to the horchata I'm used to, and I really enjoyed it. My order was prepared quickly, and the food was still nice and warm when I received it. The pupusas had a great texture, were generously filled, and packed with flavor. Paired with the horchata, it made for a very satisfying meal. The restaurant itself is huge, spacious, and very clean. It would be a great spot for a casual meal or even a date night. Parking can be a little cramped, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. The prices have gone up and are now around $3.50 and up per pupusa, but considering the amount of filling and quality, I still think they're worth trying. Overall, I had a positive experience and will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

They must have remodeled and the results elevated the place into more of a high-end restaurant. The long table was a beautiful wood plank. The mural at the entrance was exquisite. The wall decor and lighting fixtures truly reflect the Latin American culture. We walked into a very cozy and well-appointed restaurant. The menu and selection of wines are extraordinary (and pricey). We decided that sharing whatever we order, tapas-style, was the best way to enjoy the experience. We ordered ceviche, beef ribs, Cuban sandwich, foie gras, pork belly tacos, enchiladas and a bottle of wine. We were so full that we simply didn't have room for dessert, although we would have loved to try! Food was tasty. Plating was creative (two little pig sculptures propped up the Cuban sandwich). Service was impeccable. But be prepared --- this is fine dining and the prices reflect that.

But, we were hoping they fixed that, but they didn't. The service was okay. They were busy and only seemed they had 2 servers. So it felt understaffed on a Saturday night. The food was fantastic. Great options and everything we had was very tasty. Highly recommend the Cuban. It was amazing and I love Cubans. Ceviche and the patacones were also great. The pricing is fantastic for the quality of food. So a few solid suggestions - get a mini split. We know a guy that can install for 1/4 of the price everyone else in town will charge. So hmu if you want that as an option. We have one in our side room that's 600sqft and it works amazing. It's so hot in your restaurant - it's hard to enjoy dinner when you're uncomfortably hot. Two, music. You only had it blaring in the kitchen. The ambience with the decor was beautiful, but you duke allow your clients to enjoy music with that. Allow for one more server on busy nights. Overall, solid dinner. We'll go back when it's not so hot.
