We love Tres Marias!! I can't say it enough. They have the best staff and the owner is the nicest guy. The food is yummy!!

Place was amazing, we were so full just after the chips then food came and we continued to eat just because it was so good

We stopped here on our way to Leavenworth, and out of all the restaurants we tried while there for 3 days, Tres Marias was the best. We were seated immediately and received water, salsa, chips, a bean dip and another cabbage type appetizer right away. I found that to be very generous of them to provide so much at no cost. Then came the food. I ordered Huevos Rancheros, it was delicious, and I'm going to be remembering this food and craving it for a long time. The beans were perfect and the rice was cooked exactly how I like it. I wish the owners would consider opening a restaurant on the Olympic Peninsula, they'd be so popular. We miss this place so badly. It was our go to dinner on our way to the mountains. We were always made to feel like we were guests in someone's home. They make my kids virgin drinks and pour me a glass of tequila (lucky me I'm not the driver). We always leave with fully bellies and so happy. We are still trying to recover from the belly ache the atrocious food gave us from our recent visit. I am truly surprised by my fellow Yelpers review of this place. It started off with the staff being friendly with prompt service, but then things went down hill fast. We started off with the average chips. salsa, refried bean dips and guacamole (all I'm sure came straight out of a can or jar). Next we had the Veggie Burrito, Chilie Relleno combo and the Enchillada and Tamales. None of what we got was authentic. Everythng was VERY SALTY and just plain old Did not TASTE very good... On one end, the enchilada repeated my satisfaction, but with the fajita leaving me in polarity. Parking is easy. Main Street Monroe. The interior design is nice. There are a couple tv's to entice your Seahawks friends to eat out on game day. Chips and salsa are provided and taste great. They usually bring us two salsas because they know we will finish it to quick. I always get fajitas. Grilled chicken and veggies. Really great with large portions enough for take home leftovers!!! Price is $$-$$$ but what restaurant isn't these days. Also we order some more expensive items like shrimp. :) great spot in monroe. read more

Seriously I am so glad to find a great Mexican place not too far from home. The people here are so nice, they thank you for coming in and obviously take pride in their restaurant. It's cute, clean and tastefully decorated. The pico that comes with the chips will I'm sure become an addiction for me, I love the picked Jalapeno chunks in it. The man and I both got a combo, mine was a pork enchilada and tamale and his a chicken chalupa and burrito. Everything was delicious, especially the burrito! It was juicy, and stuffed with chicken, so good! The tamale was pretty legit, maybe a tad dry but very tasty! We def will be back, I suggest you stop in for a visit if you're in the neighborhood! read more

Underwhelmed. That's a perfect summation of our recent visit to this family Mexican restaurant. Here's how it went: We found street parking right away on a Thursday night around 6:30pm. We were seated right away in their brightly colored inviting dining room by very friendly staff. An equally warm and friendly server took our order promptly. The salsa was good. The chips were OK. The bean dip was OK. The pico de gallo was meh. My kids ordered American kid-type dishes like chicken nuggets and fries. They were happy. I ordered the Camarones a la Diabla, but after a mouth-scorching experience at a different restaurant I asked them to go mild on the spices. Unfortunately "mild" equated to a probably-delicious sauce being replaced by straight ketchup. Yes, my delightful little shrimp were swimming in ketchup. Eww. I thankfully ordered a Perfect Margarita with Patron and made it a double. The drink was perfectly executed and not too strong. Definitely order a double if you come here. So I would recommend this place for a good margarita and friendly service but I don't think that'll be enough to get us to come back. read more

I had enchiladas in mole sauce for a first dinner there. I have a lot of experience with authentic Mexican food having grown up in the Yakima Valley and having tried places from Texas to Arizona to California, etc. This was by far the best mole I have ever had. Chili Rellenos Veggie Tostada Stopped here for take out after skiing. Great customer service , friendly, and quick to make our order. As a vegetarian I was pleased to see a vegetarian section on the menu. No complaints at all about the food. Would not go out of my way for it but would go back. I really only write five star or one star reviews. It takes a jolting experience for me to snap out of my Yelp coma. Yeeehaw! This is great Mexican food. They started us off with bottomless homemade chips, pico de gallo, mole, and salsa. Right there those flavors could have made this some of the best Mexican food I've had in a while, but you need to slow down here. There's a lot more to see and eat. The menu is huge with tons of variety. Then came our plates of sizzling fajitas, tamales, and enchiladas. All freaking amazing. Delicate flavors, great textures, etc. Wash this down with a Margarita or a Peach Virgin Margarita for Mr. Designated Driver here. If I'm being honest, I haven't eaten a lot of Mexican food since I left Texas. Too hard to find those tastes I grew up with. This place? I can't even keep my hands of the damn sides. Even their Spanish rice is already something I know I'm going to be craving tomorrow and my daughter's chicken nuggets were better than anything you'll get in a drive through. So after a solid hour of gluttony, we put some dessert on top. The fried ice cream is INTENSE. This crispy, cinnamon sugar shell adds such an amazing mouth feel on top of the rich vanilla ice cream. The flan - like most everything here - is made in house and again, has the perfect level of sweet and texture. I am in physical pain writing this. So glad we tried this restaurant tonight! Picked it because of Yelp reviews and they didn't disappoint. I had the steak fajitas and it was awesome. The steak was so tender and flavorful and the veggies WEREN'T overcooked or swimming in oil. Cooked to perfection! Daughter had chicken fajitas and hubs had steak rancheros. Both were raving about their meals although hubs said my fajitas looked so good, that's what he will order next time. Guac and pico were fantastic as well.
