As I said before, nobody likes to go to the doctor. Any doctor for that matter. But I had a few things to get checked out. So I had my doctor make me a referral to Las Vegas endocrinology. Located right down the street from me where where St. Rose turns into Pecos, there. It was on the left hand side of the street. Plenty of parking outside and very easy to find. Inside the waiting room he was very pleasant, lots of cool things to look at. And plenty of seating for everyone. Side bonus, there was a nice display case with some of the doctors Lego models that he had built. Kudos to him for putting those on display, that made me feel like this was an okay guy. You definitely want to get there early if it's your first time as there is a mound of paperwork to fill out. Seriously, my hand actually got sore from signing my name so much. But hey, that's what you're supposed to expect going to a doctor for the first time. Other than the wait time.. I arrived at 7:20 and didn't get out of there until about 9:10 or 9:15, it was an overall pleasant experience. The nurse practitioner that took care of me was very friendly, very kind, and to the point, even addressing some personal stuff she didn't waver or flinch. I appreciate her attention to detail and her professionalism. Bottom line? I will be going back here again. If it wasn't that good, I wouldn't have even accepted my doctors that referral, and asked for for another one. This place is fine, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend people here! read more

My saga with Kristy gets worse. Las Vegas Endocrinology uses the Healow app so patients can stay current with their medical records and communicate with the office. I checked my visit summary and clinical notes about a week after my awful appointment. Guess who lied and said they performed an exam, during which they found that I have obstructive sleep apnea? That would be Kristy. It says that I have a redundant palate and an elongated uvula. She spent 3 minutes with me and never got within 6 feet of me. How did she find that? So I talked to their office manager, Randi. She was very kind. She sent me a PDF of my official chart, which does not show the oropharyngeal findings. I sent the Healow version to her, which showed she did fabricate an exam. Randi chalked it up to an IT issue, which sounds pretty fake to me. She did acknowledge that Kristy could have led with curiosity rather than assumptions. I was promised a note would be added to my chart to not schedule me with Kristy ever again. I was also offered a do-over with Dr. Yudez and was promised someone would call the next day. No one did, but that's fine. I don't want to be seen by providers who feel empowered to lie. read more

I should have read the reviews before I went here. Ugh wasted two hours of my life. It's been a long time that I had to wait an hour over my scheduled apt time. I don't play that game I will not be following up. Waiting room and rooms need to be cleaned and updated. To much going on in waiting room. Legos fish. Felt turned off as soon as I walked In. I have nothing good to say about this practice. Dr Gill was nearly an hour late for our 7:15 appointment. No apology. When I stated that it would be professional courtesy to apologize for being late she said "I'm not late, if you're really in the medical field, you would know this is acceptable ". The office staff here are inept. I was told I won't get the results for my fine needle biopsy unless I pay my copay, over the phone. For security reasons I don't make payments over the phone. I asked if there was another way I could pay, the patient portal. Went there-can't set up an account unless I have a code. I was told I could come to the office. I can't I have a business and I'm fully booked. I was then told I would not get my results unless I paid. I asked for the result to be sent to my primary. I called primary and they didn't get it and they faxed a release to them twice. Do not go to this doctor. read more

This is my second time here. I really liked the doctor, but the office experience is beyond HORRIBLE. my apt was at 9:15am. I was there at 9. The lobby is over its seat limit. People keep coming in and there is no where to sit. I was called in to get vitals done then told they had no rooms available so they have to put me back in the lobby. Did I mention there are no seats? I'm still in the lobby doing this review and it is now 10:30am. When an I going to be seen? I took a half day off from work and have to go in at noon....I have a feeling I won't make it.... will update later if the appointment ever happens.....Upate 10:50am. I questioned the receptionist of when I will be seen. She said she doesn't know and that they are always 2 to 3 hours behind. I rarely leave reviews, but I feel like others should be aware of what to expect here. The doctors themselves are okay, nothing exceptional, but competent. Unfortunately, the office staff brings the whole experience down dramatically. Appointments are consistently delayed. Don't bother showing up on time, you'll be waiting at least 1 hour past your scheduled time to be seen for maybe five minutes. It's clear they overbook and are severely understaffed. The office staff is incredibly unprofessional and rude. No updates, no apologies for the delays. If you ask for help or clarification, you're treated like an inconvenience. There is absolutely no sense of customer service or patient care from anyone outside of the exam room. If you value your time and basic respect, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. I have never left a review for any place I've been to but this one felt like it just needed to be left for others looking for an endocrinologist. I am 23 years old dealing with hormonal issues (pcos) && health issues a which led to me be referred here by my pcp. After getting my blood work results back I was super anxious to get in to see the Dr. When I called I specifically asked to see Dr. Nguyen. The lady on the phone said yes let's do that and gave me the soonest available appt. The waiting room is not kept clean. We got called back and were then greeted by the student who asked the basic questions. She was very passive aggressive and not personable at all. She then informed me that PA Hillary would be in shortly. I was told over the phone I was scheduled with Dr. Nguyen, but now I'm being told I'm seeing PA Hillary. :/ I was not happy at all & informed her that I was told i was being scheduled with Dr. Nguyen. She then informed me he only sees patients that are emergency patients. I kept positive hoping that this PA would be able to answer all of my questions about my bloodwork and take the time to walk me through what I can do on my part... && sadly none of that happened. She was in the room for maybe 5 minutes and every question I had was either pushed off or was told that maybe I have other diseases. She couldn't even answer what insulin resistance was && asked why my Obgyn doesn't just take care of me. It literally felt as if she just got out of school with no experience & I was her first patient. I walked out of the appointment feeling worse then when I came in. I felt like I didn't learn anything and was in the dark about what all these numbers on my bloodwork meant && worst of all had no idea how to even help myself. Having worked myself in the medical field I know how terrible the medical field is in Nevada. All patients ask for is for someone to take their time with them & to walk out of the office at least being knowledgeable in what the numbers or diagnoses mean. People go to the doctors not because they are healthy and feel good... they go because they are not healthy and some worse then others. Nothing means more than a provider who takes their time to listen and educate & show they care. That's all we ask for. So if that is what you are looking for unfortunately this is not the place to go. :( read more

I don't know where to start about Mandeep Gill. I waited months for an appointment. I arrived at the office to be told she was not going to be in that day. After a 3 hour wait I was seen, given a glucose monitor and came back in 2 weeks. I had a 7:30 appointment and STILL waited for almost an hour. Definitely not impressed with the medical assistant who had zero personality and basically could have cared less. Finally "Dr" Gill came in and I was extremely unimpressed with her attitude and almost rude behavior. She has zero bedside manner. Pretty much llacked compassion. I was given a prescription and three days later, never got a call from my pharmacy that it was ready. She told me to call the office with some information regarding my current prescription and I was told I would get a call regarding that. Nope. I would NEVER EVER recommend her to anyone. She is the perfect example of the quality of medicine in this town. Needless to say, I will never go back. The whole atmosphere in the office was less than impressive. The receptionist there are rude and does not care about the patients I went there at 9:56 am I had to fill out the paperwork which I did and at the same time I was calling my doctors office for my blood results to have it fixed to them...At 10:45 I went back to the receptionist to see how long more it would be till I was seen..That is when they asked me if I got the results from the Doctors office I said no I been calling but can't get anyone on the phone..Which the receptionist told me that I will not be able to be seen until they get the results..So I tried to reschedule at which time she told me that the next appt is not until january...so I said I will call and reschedule I left and went to my Doctors office to get the results I needed at which time I came back to the office to turn in the results just to be told I had to wait...I let the receptionist know I had to get to another appt and again she told me to wait..I am very unhappy with their service... read more

This clinic should be closed and this doctors license should be revoked. I have never been treated so poorly by a medical clinic in my entire life. I have had four appointments and yet to actually see the doctor for a variety of reasons. today I had an appointment at 10:30 and when I was called they took my blood pressure and then I was told they didn't have any exam rooms. Return to the waiting room. At 11:30 they called me again and put me in a back dingy dark warm room and I sat there for another 30 minutes. I finally got up and went and asked how much longer would I be waiting. They told me the doctor had three patients in front of me. It would possibly be another 30 to 40 minutes. That would take them into their lunch hour, and the office closes. Remember I had a 1030 appointment and is now 1145 . I am on medication that I am not sure I should be on and nobody, including the doctor will see me to discuss it. I have had blood work completed yet the blood work required for my disease was not included in the blood panel. This is the third time I have been to the office and had an appointment and never saw the doctor. I walked out. The front office staff is rude, snarky and it is obvious they hire lazy women. They don't wanna work. They act like I am bothering them when I ask a question. To make matters worst they charged me a co-pay and will not refund the co-pay even though I did not see the doctor or had any service. This is insurance fraud. I will be reporting them to my insurance company, my credit card company and I will be reporting them to the Medical board. I would think carefully about going to this clinic as you can see from many other reviews, this is a terrible doctor and he should not be in practice. If could give them a zero rating I would. Have been a client for many years. I had thyroid cancer and Dr. Nguyen was great. The after care is questionable. I feel like in the past year really has been questionable customer service. I always had to wait 45 to 1.5 hrs to be seen by the nurse practitioner every visit. Preferred to do it over Telemed because of the wait. Then they made a rule that they had to see me in office once a year. I did go and and waited for quite a bit then too. My check ups were mainly to renew my prescription for daily Levothyroxine and go over bloodwork, my appointments are normally 15 min tops. After many years of care and established care I get a phone call cancel on me due to nonresidency (I moved 5 months and still have a home in Las Vegas). Even my last check up they were weird and said due to capacity I may want to be seen somewhere near by me. I still travel into town regularly and wanted to keep my same doctor so it was no issue to keep my appointments there rather than move to a doctor near me. So if you're looking for longevity and empathy for his is not the place. read more

I feel like being a diabetic is challenging getting prescriptions , dealing with insurance , etc... however this office does have ALOT of patients & with that being said, their staff is pretty diligent about getting things done for you if you have the Healow app/patient portal. A lot of the negative things surrounding diabetes and getting approved for things is out of their control and I notice people just come on here to say negative things but wanted to say I appreciate the staff here. read more

I do know where to start about Dr. Mandeep Gill. She is an excellent doctor. The science of endocrinology can greatly improve your quality of life when applied by an experienced physician. She sees two of my family members, and I would recommend her to anyone. I am a caregiver and having her expertise on my side gives me confidence and relief. The practice is growing and very busy. Without exception, we have been treated respectfully by Dr. Gill and the office staff. I had to get my mom in before her next scheduled appointment, and they were able to schedule us within a week. The quality of healthcare is variable throughout Clark County. Dr. Gill is an asset to this community. We have experienced her as knowledgeable, warm, thorough, and patient. read more

I have been sick for many many years and have had incompetent endocrinologist but when my doctor considered me to go to this doctor I thought I would give it a try. Bad decision. Most of these reviews the talk about how rude the staff is are so correct. As far as them returning your phone calls they don't until the very end and then after the office manager don't remember her name but she was super rude and cruel to me on the phone after just trying to get to the bottom of what was going on and why they keep canceling my appointments and giving me to a nurse practitioner or some idiot that didn't know what he was doing and looked like Liberace. It was a joke. Every time I asked for the main doctor because I heard that he was the best and that's who I originally started to try to see they keep putting me to somebody else. So I'm wasting a lot of time. So when I complained and said I want to see the main doctor the office manager said that I wasn't sick enough. When I told her I'd been sick for 18 years isn't that sick enough? She said no!!!! She said he mainly sees people that have just come out of the hospital and critical care. No that wasn't me but being sick for this specific reason for 18 years to me is pretty serious. And she took it like it was a joke like my illness was a joke. And then she told me that it was me it was rude to her staff. Are you kidding me? All I was trying to do was get to the bottom of it and find out why they kept treating me this way and kept pushing me around. Like my life meant nothing, and like I have all the time in the world to wait for this main doctor... They treat him like he's some God. He's not he's just a doctor. And after I hung up on her after she treated me and said those words to me I was so humiliated that she could have turned it on me that I was the bad guy. I don't need to be disrespected like that when I'm including me with any other people or the patients that put those people to work. Dr Gill Mandeep was focused on my mom's age (94) vs her thyroid problem... First thing he said to her was "so you're 94"... Age discrimination should not enter into the problem she was having... Mandeep dismissed symptoms to age & POSSIBLE other contributing factors. Days later, another Dr took one look at my mother's eyes and said she had thyroid issues. Her Thyroid medication was increased & eye problems were eliminated. Patients deserve professionalism and better medical advise/treatment. The experience was very discouraging. read more

I've been very happy with the care I received once I'm in the VERY back (hence the 2 stars) despite wanting to give them a zero due to my most recent experience and a few others during my time with them. Once I get to the NPs I'm for the most part happy. Specifically Kristi Solis who gave me hope at a time I was giving up. She's the reason I started this journey with as much strength as I needed to do so. Though the time was brief she was compassionate and made me feel I was going to get better if I just stuck through with it. I then was able to go to televisits with Patrick. He's patient and listens to me as I struggle wanting to feel better again NOW lol. He lets me talk about that frustration while also answering all my questions and concerns while treating me with respect and understanding. Due to feeling that in our current healthcare system we as patients need to advocate for ourselves I ask a lot of questions from my personal research, but he never shows frustration and answers each and every one of my questions. So what could go wrong? Well, it's mostly the front line staff and the office's inflexible policies. I'm getting hit with bill after bill due to everything going on (FYI: so everyone understands... 6 different doctors, diagnostic company and lab company) and it's a bit overwhelming keeping it all in order yet alone paid all on time as soon as the bill hits. All of my doctors have worked with me with the exception of this office. A few days before my appointment I received a call from what I name "front line staff" which in short stated I had to pay my entire balance or I'd have to cancel my appointment which was in 4 days (over a holiday weekend). Due to paying off other medical bills and buying my daughter new clothes for school I'm temporarily unable to pay this bill with that little notice. I've been working with this office very closely for about a year and we've been unable to level my thyroid, but I feel we're so close. It was very disappointing to be forced to cancel. I honestly shouldn't be skipping visits which may lead to me running out of meds which is my biggest fear as I'm finally starting to feel good again, my dose not being adjusted correctly, and their likely threat to discharge me which is another policy I don't agree with. During my time with them I rescheduled an appointment due to my job urgently needing me (2 days notice) and another time for jury duty (4 weeks notice). Afterwards, I was told they could discharge me as a patient for having to reschedule twice as they're too busy of an office to apparently care or deal with the needs of robots OH WAIT WE'RE HUMAN and have lives and jobs and families. They insisted I get FMLA which I did to appease them. I'm sure cancelling this last appointment will likely get me another discussion threatening to discharge me again if this review doesn't do it. However, I feel I'm at a point anyways where I need to find another office who can show their heart and compassion a bit more specifically with the front line staff and being a bit flexible every now and then knowing life is messy and that healthcare in America kinda sucks with premiums and deductibles being so high. Didn't you get into this at the beginning to help people? You can't just be a little bit more flexible? Like I dunno a 30-90 day grace period so we have a chance to figure it out. After all, I didn't plan on getting this sick it's not like a vacation. Maybe not being so stern and come up with a compassionate script for your employees to use. Saying it has to be paid now or else is not the way to go. You get further with honey vs salt. Offer creative solutions like a payment plan early on showing your compassion which was allowed once before after practically begging for help, but being made to feel less than for having to ask. I couldn't bare myself to ask for help again. This has ultimately led to my decision to change providers. I just hope I have enough meds to get through this transition so it won't feel like I'm having to start all over again not to mention not having to be in a risky health situation. This place charges you 50$ for canceling an appointment last minute. Things come up not everyones life is set in stone. So that's ridiculous. But mostly why they get a 1 is, After multiple visits and constantly telling them my symptoms. And they would document everything like it was extremely important but when it came down to it nothing was done. No further testing to investigate at all. All I would get was a "well we have to take a blood test to see the results" And absolutely nothing happens after that. No other type of tests or imaging to analyze anything is done. I went to another facility prior to this place and I would have gone there had my insurance not changed THEY were able to do additional testing on me to get to the root cause of why I was not feeling well at that time. None of this "well we need a blood test first to be able to see the results" My results stayed relatively the same from test to test. But they asked for a test like that was in fact the answer to cure my symptoms. Sure the test may show the levels of hormones or lack of in my blood, but that is not a one size fits all solution. So If your having issues where you may need help getting down to the root problem of what is occurring, like for a thyroid condition like in my case. This is not the place you should go to. Trust me. They only know how to prescribe you medication and that's about it. read more
