The awful music here is beyond obnoxious. I would highly recommend taking two Tylenol (Extra Strength) and Motrin (600mg).... You can't hear yourself think. Eating here is a physically painful experience. There is a Wendy's not far away. I'd recommend going there instead, yes..... the salt from the Wendy's might cause a stroke, but still a better outcome than a dining experience at ACCC. read more

We gave The Taproom another try after a disappointing meal previously. Our table was ready when we arrived and our waitress and all staff were friendly and prompt. We ordered drinks and were quickly served. Bread was warm and yummy. My daughter ordered the pork chop special, my husband the salmon ( which he needed gluten free) and I ordered the Fruitti Di mare in a red sauce. Our dinners arrived promptly and were delicious. The red sauce in my dish wasn't a heavy red sauce but light and perfect with the seafood. The chef came out and chatted with us which was nice too. I'm glad we gave The Taproom another try and we will be back. read more

They stopped the Happy Hour!!!! Love this place, very old classic historical golf club that's very fun to go to but without the great $5 plates so you can relax and try different stuff for a reasonable price I just don't see it. Not down for the $12 burger and $8 draft. Plus they taped up a piece of paper that said, Due to Covid-19 we have had to stop our Happy Hour. What does that mean? I guess too many people and with winter everyone will be inside? Oh well, back to the beach. If the happy hour starts back up this place is cool. read more

We can here for breakfast with Santa and the food was outstanding and all warm and constantly full, there wasn't a station that did have food in the trays and the overall taste and appearance was excellent. The Santa / Photo area was extremely well executed. Santa himself was very kind to the children and gave them candy canes, while the photographer and his helpers were fast and kept the line moving quickly. I brought 14 guests (my immediate family) and they all raved about the experience, we will definitely will joining again next year and we're thinking Easter! Chrissy, our main server was fantastic. Went for AC Restaurant Week to try this restaurant that I heard good things about. The Taproom is located in the Atlantic City Country Club. The club itself is really nice inside and they have these Kiosks that tell you the history of the club. Growing up in Northfield I was surprised how little I knew of the clubs history, for example, the term Birdie was coined there. The Taproom itself was recently reopened and it looked great inside with a beautiful view of the course, back bay, and Atlantic City. I'm sure it's really nice in the summer. I started out with the Signature Snapper Soup. It was really tasty with a slightly spicy note. The server said it was spicy, but I don't think it was that spicy. The sherry was a nice touch and was one of the better sherries I've had on a snapper soup. For the main entree I had the Miso Glazed Pan-Roasted Atlantic Salmon. I thought the broth might be too much (almost a soup at the bottom of the bowl) but it wasn't. I thought the Salmon was cooked very well and the miso broth was good and not over powering. The vegetables were cooked nicely and still had a crunch. My only disappointment was the dessert. I had the Beehive Torte which was a Yeast cake with honey and filled with pastry cream. I thought the cake was very dry and I could barely taste any honey flavor. I did try my wife's PA Dutch Strawberry Shortcake which was great. The people at the Taproom were fantastic. The host greeted us with a friendly smile and politely seated us near the window so that we could enjoy the view. Our server was excellent. Very friendly and was able to get answers about our dietary limitations quickly. Overall a really nice experience and I plan on going back in the summer. read more

Horrible Experience!! Held our Father's 86 Birthday here on a Friday night. 5:45 reservation for a party of 14. We all arrive on time. Unfortunately, the Bday boy's house alarm goes off and he needs to run home to disarm. We asked to be seated 2x while he made the trip home and back. Both times we were told "it's not too busy just wait until he gets back." Finally get seated at 6:30. Service and dinner good. After singing Happy Birthday around ~8:30 here comes the cook to our table. I could tell this wasn't going to be a Thank You. He goes on to publicly berate and embarrass my sister for screwing up his kitchen today because we were late. He does this in front of other guests, staff, and patrons. We couldn't believe what was going on! My sister apologizes up and down. But he just keeps going and going and going. So unprofessional and uncalled for! Certainly not what I'd expect from ACCC. Why does this cook feel the need to ruin our night? If you couldn't handle us being a little late then tell us at the beginning and we'll pivot to somewhere else. But no, he waits until we're settling the $1300 bill when he decides to pull this move. Nice Job!! He should have spoken to my sister privately or just never give us a reservation again. Heading home from the shore, decided to take a small detour to check this place out after reading the good reviews. It was a nice clear day and we asked to sit near the window to enjoy the view of Atlantic City. Definitely a nice view and a nice place for a leisurely lunch. The ambiance was definitely of an old school country club. Pictures attached. Well lunch was simple. I got the Italian roast beef with French fries. Wife got the mushroom burger. The roast beef was thinly sliced, very tender and delicious! Roast beef was piled high and served with a side of au jus which was a little gravy like but delicious. Part way through I gave up trying to eat this as a sandwich and got out the utensils. My only minor complaint was there wasn't enough cheese for this much meat. French fries were excellent. Liked the seasoning and the way they were cooked. The burger was very good. It was good size probably 8oz and cooked right. Wife enjoyed it and I got a little taste. Our server, Adrianna, was friendly and helpful with the menu. It saddened me to have to disappoint her by not ordering dessert. There just was no more room for even a bite. Next time will have to leave some room because they had three different cobblers that sounded worth trying. This was a really nice lunch and would definitely recommend read more

This restaurant, located within ACCC (Atlantic City Country Club), is very impressive. The service and food is top notch. All the workers are friendly and outgoing. The manager stopped by our table twice. The view is beautiful as you can see the country club grounds with Atlantic City in the distance. We opted for a bottle of riesling for $24. They have bottle even cheaper than that! They also have a respectable cocktail menu. Their only downfall would be the fact that they only have one non-common before. My friend and I stopped by for AC Restaurant Week before the Yelp Winter Break. After looking at all restaurants' offerings for restaurant week, I made it a point to go here. Their approach to restaurant week is what NYC restaurant week used to be about before all the bogus restaurants started to use restaurant week as a means of directly generating revenue instead of as a showcase.. Show people what you got, prix fixe and don't hold back. So many great choices, and the ones we did choose were executed perfectly. Signature snapper soup was thick and hearty. It was more like a chowder. Jumbo Lump Mini Crab Cake Stack is the best I've ever had. It's basically all crab with breading only on the outside. It's served over a garlic crouton a grilled tomato, then drizzled with a balsamic reduction. It was perfection. Molasses BBQ brisket sliders featured brisket that had completely fallen apart. Personally, that's a plus in my book. ACCC Hot Brown was their take on the Kentucky favorite. It seemed slightly tamed compared to the full indulgence original. Still delicious nonetheless. Five Layer Devil's Food Cake was a delicious chocolate cake. Great combination of many textures. PA Dutch Strawberry Shortcake "Buttermilk and vanilla biscuit with whipped cream, sliced strawberries and kiwi in raspberry puree" I usually find strawberry shortcake to be boring. The hard biscuit made the dessert exciting! I've never had it like that before, and I wouldn't want it with boring cake ever again! Then adding kiwi is just a marvelous touch. Bravo! They absolutely nailed every dish. This place is about 10-15 min away from AC, but well well well worth the trip on the way in or out. read more

What I expected to be an improved breakfast experience, due to new owners of the Atlantic City Country Club, turned out to be a pretty lackluster one. When we arrived at the restaurant at about 10AM, we were unsure if the place was even open. Nobody, servers or waiters, were to be found anywhere. Once we confirmed that the place was in fact serving food, my party had to wait more than twenty minutes for coffee to be brewed before we had our morning cup. Worst of all was the fly problem. All throughout breakfast there were 20 or 30 of the things flying all around us. It made me wonder if someone had left a door open somewhere to let them all in. When we finally did get our food, our order was wrong (i.e. my mother was given raisin french toast instead of the regular toast she asked for) Either way a major disappointment... still will give them two stars for the pretty view of the golf course. read more

Wow! This may be the best kept secret at "the shore", thanks to a makeover from new owners (Scotland Run Golf Club). Speaking as a native local, this is exactly what this area needed. The gorgeous outdoor patio bar w/ 2nd level roof top deck (bar #2) overlooking the AC skyline will be my new go-to Happy Hour place this summer! Sip and savor while enjoying a million dollar view of the beautiful golf course, bay and AC skyline. Great prices, delish food and outstanding service made our dining experience one of the best we've ever had offshore. Skip Ventura's and go here. My husband and I had the Paella for 2. Yummo! Very much an historical facility. I have only been to Happy Hour. $5 menu is nice and food is very good. My 3 stars are for the small bar. It is very small. Might sit 8 to 10 people. Mostly have to sit at tables in the bar area. That is ok I guess. Its just that when I go to a bar for Happy Hour, I want to be at the bar. I have never gone early enough to get bar space. When they remodeled a while back, I was hoping that they would enlarge the bar. I do not think they extended the size of the bar during renovation. It is a very nice place and I like the overall presentation of the golf club, etc. That being said, I may return for Happy Hour and sit at a table away from the bar and sip my beer. read more

The restaurant manager came up to the table and spoke to my party about the surf and turf special on Wednesday nights. They also said on Thursday they have half price wines. Atlantic City Country Club is one of our favorite restaurants which we enjoy year round. Our most recent visit was for a surprise birthday celebration which was perfect with the help of our server Maria, whom went out of her way to make the night special for all. We were seated at a window table which has a beautiful view of the golf course and the AC lights at night. The food is consistently great and they have excellent specials especially during happy hour at the bar. The only negative would be that it tends to be a little noisy when crowded. read more

Hands down the best burger I've had in a restaurant this year. I have eaten all the local burgers including some really overpriced ones, this one tops them all with ease. Perfectly juicy with just the right amount of cheese, fresh produce toppings, and a buttered kaiser roll. In addition, we received courteous service in spite of being on the late side for dinner and being one of only two tables at that hour. Great work all around. Really outstanding. read more
