I signed up to have laser hair removal on my legs. I've had hair laser removal for a different part of my body before, but previously I used a doctor's office. I wish I did this time as well. I thought I'd give LaserAway a chance, since it was easier to book with them than through the doctor (I could do nights/weekends). With the doctor's office, I had great results. With LaserAway, I had minimal results. It was a long and expensive process with LaserAway, and I am not happy with the results. A real waste of money. I'll reach out to the doctor I used previously next time. I also was not pleased with the scheduling. While I was on time, and they expect their customers to be on time, they were rarely on time. I often was left sitting waiting, once well over 20 minutes. Wish I had better results and a better rating to give. It wasn't cheap. read more

I was referred to LaserAway by a friend. I was given a contact person who I called I simply wanted to know if they did free consultations as I have never had botox or fillers and wanted more information. The lady that I spoke to was wonderful and could see anything and that she did. I was able to get in the next day and drove up was told I was going to be seen by the clinical director the best the only RN she lets touch her face. My friend came with me and also made an appt. for services. Upon arrival the store is beautiful and the girl at the front desk was so nice. She was taken back that no one had seen our faces previous to coming in for our appt. she said no one facetime or video chat we said nope. My nurse Karishma came in and was very standoff I told her I did not want to be frozen she told me how did 40 units sound I said I have no clue. Sadly my injections hurt and I left with a huge goose egg on my forehead which is now 9 days later bruised very bad. 40 units was way too much botox it cause extreme migraines my eyelids are gone they are covered by heavy skin. My right eye is completely drooped. My friend had a different experience which I watched her nurse took her time she felt nothing not bruised nothing that I experienced she also go the exact same amount as me. The frustrating part is calling back with concerns being told its normal and to send pictures no return call I receive a text message confirming an appt I did not make for more botox. After seeing an MD it was determined I was given way too much and it was not placed properly. I have asked the clinical director for a refund of my remaining 60 units as I do not trust to go back to this establishment. buyers beware I believe there are good and bad injectors but its our faces I was sold and trusted what I was being told. read more

Even while I was waiting in one of the room for my numbing cream so it can do it's thing lol one of the ladies gave me the remote so I can watch what I wanted. Clean rooms I felt really comfortable. I thought my experience was great. So where do I start? I absolute HATE my lower back/butt tattoo, so I was hoping to at least get it lightened a bit so I could do a flower cover up of some sort. Of course I read the horrific reviews on tattoo removal and how painful it is- so I am scared but trying not to worry! I found laseraway and they had great reviews so I called and got everything coordinated. She was so helpful and informative, it was such an easy process! Today was my first treatment! I get there and it's a typical boutique type med spa in beautiful Folsom at the Palladio! Immediately greeted by Kat- she was like beyond cheerful, helpful, sweet and we hit it off immediately! They took me to a room, rubbed some numbing cream on me and then I waited approximately 20ish minutes. I then get moved into a treatment room with my Nurse Joni! Who is also super sweet and provided me all the details about the laser procedure and after care. She tells me it's painful so I am preparing myself for the worst. She gives me a stress ball and then there's some cold air blowing and it starts. I am not going to lie and say that it is painless but honestly- it is NOTHING like I imagined. It was like a hot rubber band hitting my skin and she would stop, let me breathe again lol, and then start over. Whole thing was done in 15 minutes! Joni and Kat made this experience that much better in addition to the fact that I expected to be hunched over in pain, but was actually pleasantly surprised at the pain level and length of the procedure. I have additional treatments for my tattoo but I am SO HAPPY i chose LaserAway and will definitely update this review when I am further along in my removal process. It's not my favorite thing to leave a negative review for any business, but in this case, I would recommend supporting a smaller local business who actually cares about the customer experience they are offering, and stay away from this corporate experience. ---- Minus 1 star for cost of service ($200 for 2 minutes of laser time if that, which equates to $6,000/hr) - at that rate I would expect extremely stellar customer service and quality. Minus 1 star for quality of service (I had a small area treated and spots were missed, at the rate I paid I would expect perfection especially on a small area). Now 1 week post treatment it looks like nothing was done at all. Minus 1 star for customer service. I immediately asked if she had missed a spot because I didn't feel it and the technician didn't even look and promptly said no, the tone was off and short as if insulted I even asked. I almost want to remove another star because apparently this person trains all the other technicians. No chalking or guidelines to help ensure all spots are covered. --- 1 star earned because they have a high tech laser, it's just unfortunate the operators are, in my opinion, not skilled and with poor bedside manner. 1 star earned because the manager was kind in trying to address my concerns, although no one ever followed up with me about potentially replacing my session. Even though I texted with the person who sold me my session, she eventually ghosted me. I was pawned off to a second technician who was listening in to my complaints without being introduced to me, who also spoke down to me with a rude tone shutting down all of my concerns before finally admitting it was possible the technician missed spots because "people make mistakes." I agree, people make mistakes, I was just asking them to acknowledge the mistake and replace my session because at this cost of service, I would expect a perfect service and would expect to be treated better. At no point was I rude or demanding, I really just wanted an acknowledgment that some spots were missed, an apology for my time loss and an offer to replace my session. I didn't plan to write this review until continuing to be ignored. I can't believe this is how they think high end customer service should work. I had a feeling I was treated poorly because I was in a hurry that morning, I woke up late and was not dressed well that day. But the next day when I went in to show proof about my bad experience, they stuck to their guns on rude customer service. Perhaps another laser away in the Sacramento area would offer a better experience. If I am offered a replacement session I will try another location. I can't believe I almost dropped $5,000 on a full body laser package - I am so grateful I tested them out before committing. read more

They give you deals to give good reviews and ask you to review before the full results are in. The hair is thinner but after 12 treatments it's far from gone and I still have to shave regularly. I feel very misled. I called to schedule and appointment and spoke to Chris, who was so helpful and quick to answer the questions I had . I've always been curious with laser hair removal so when Black Friday ads popped up, Laser Away was one that caught my attention. Traci reached out and answered my questions and curiosities; she was definitely patient and very responsive! On the day of the appointment, I walked in and was greeted & checked in right away. Mask is required and there were floor markers for stay 6-ft apart! Interior was clean. Love their brick wall, by the way! Regarding the appointment itself, I was ready and took ibuprofen! But it really wasn't so bad. It's true of someone's definitely of rubber band being flicked on you! It was uncomfortable but bearable.
