This was my usual Laseraway location for about a year but after my previous experience I just don't see myself going back. I have been very consistent with my Botox injections and get about the same amount everytime. I went in on 12/1 to get my usual Botox done. I expressed to the injector what I usually do and how I like my forehead, we both discussed and agreed I like a pretty frozen face and don't prefer any movement in the forehead. She marked me, left the room to get the syringes and was gone for about 10 minutes which I found strange. 2 weeks later I am still able to move my head and have very visible wrinkles... luckily they had an appointment for 12/15. It was the same injector and once again had a redo talk of the convo we had earlier. She then injected me again with more than the same amount of units as usual. So now my forehead should have over 50 units of tox in my forehead. It's been more than 2 weeks since then and the results are fine... I'm still not entirely frozen or have results like I usually do. Once I am done with my Botox bank I will start getting injected elsewhere. read more

I had an online consultation with them, but I had to call them when no one showed up. I waited for about 20 minutes before calling and when I did, they sent someone to the Zoom link right away. She was very nice and explained everything very thoroughly. I ended up signing up and finished everything right in time before heading into work. When I came into my first appointment, I was super nervous because I was worried about the pain, but the ladies were so nice. I called and reschedule and was a little bummed because I couldn't get in (to work with my schedule) until October 2nd. However I was put on the waitlist. I know how busy this place can get so I wasn't hopeful I was going to get in prior to my new appointment. So, I might update. But 1 star for shoddy business practices. I did a consult over the phone, paid for a full Brazilian. Then I got a call from a PA asking for a medication list. I refused. I was told I couldn't receive the treatment unless I gave the PA my medical information. I then asked for a refund because that wasn't going to happen. Then I get a call from the sales person and I repeat my issue. I offer to sign a liability waiver and have my practicing doctors certify that none of my medications cause photosensitivity. Other than that, I would please like a refund. I was told a manager would call me, and that was Wednesday. I never heard back and the charge went through Friday. I called and left a message and have yet to hear back. A Physicians Assistant does not have a license to practice medicine (just a certification) and I should not have to disclose HIPAA protected medical information. I am having a great experience overall at this location. The staff members are nice and professional, the facility is very good and they have high levels of hygiene. Scheduling is easy too. The only thing is that the level of service one receives depends on the nurse/technician working with them that day. Some staff members are much more thorough than others and it currently NOT possible to request a specific staff member to work on you. That's the frustrating part. I was supposed to consult the thermage for my eyes treatment, the price is about $1900+. However, the consultant offered me a package price of $2318 includes eyes, face, and neck. Then I applied for the GreenSky card for the installment and made an appointment for the procedure. When the day I went to do the thermage, the nurse told me they didn't do the eyelids before the treatment. Sounds like I should have known that eye thermage treatment doesn't include eyelids. Then what's eye treatment thermage for? I had the face thermage done, but not the eyes. Then I search the thermage treatment online, other places place use 0.25cm2 RF probe for eyes. But laserway has no this probe. They only used the 3cm2 face RFporbe for my face and neck. read more

My 5th laser hair removal treatment was done a couple of weeks ago. The nurse who treated me the first 4 times was AMAZING, however, she relocated to a new company which forced me to get treated by a different nurse. Upon my arrival I was told that I was going to be treated by a nurse in training. The nurse was very sweet and I was understanding that she had to perform hands-on training on me. What I was not okay with was the fact that the "trainer" (who was also in the room) was just sitting in the corner (on her phone the whole time) NOT monitoring the trainees work and the few times she would look up she would make a comment and dive right back into her phone. Again, I've had 4 laser hair removal treatments before (underarms, brazilian & full legs) and not once have I asked my previous nurse to stop due to pain, I have high pain tolerance. This time around, my 5th treatment, I asked the nurse to stop 5+ times because it was literally burning my skin at this point. The trainee was sweet and doing her best, however, it is the lack of customer service/professionalism on the trainer's part that I am not okay with. My right thigh is still incredibly sensitive to touch (unlike the first 4 times). I requested to speak to the director of this location and all I received was an email by Morgan asking for my contact information (which I responded to almost immediately) but never heard back from her even after I sent a follow up email thinking maybe my response had gotten lost...still nothing. read more

This was been a stellar experience and here's why: I connected with Brandi when I was exploring laser hair removal. There was a patch where my current Derm's suggestion to keep my laser hair removal in-house to him and laser away deals were confusing me. Brandi never made me feel pressured to sign up but was always available to answer questions in detail. We went back & forth a bit and she kept the door open. We also upgraded my package and it was a breeze. Then, post sign up, she helped me schedule (and reschedule) 3 sessions for many months to come. I feel like she is the only person I need to talk to for all my questions. Very professional yet friendly. Knowledgeable and kind. ------ My laser tech is Misa at Fremont. She is a wish come true for me. My pain tolerance is less than that of a 2 yrs. old and she knew exactly what this needs: - She walked me through procedure detail and made space for my questions at the beginning & end of the sessions. - She went through the pre & post procedure care in detail and highlighted the must do's more than once - Misa was checking-in with me regarding the pain level every time she moved to a new area on my body and changed settings accordingly. - But this part makes her better than anyone else I have ever worked with : She timed new topics of conversation every time we were about to hit a slightly prickly part of the body :D to take my mind off the pain. It seems like they don't even want to offer IPL services, and the Groupon is merely there for bait-and-switch. - - - LaserAway is hard-selling the Clear+Brilliant package. I met with three separate people including a "nurse" and they all aggressively pushed me onto this procedure, instead of discussing the Groupon IPL I was interested in. I came in wanting IPL and they convinced/told me that IPL administered under them would yield me no result in order to sell the C+B procedure as what I really needed. I don't blame the workers, I just don't understand the approach. They could've gotten $1400 from an IPL package vs $0 for pushing the $1800 C+B procedure. Pros: Cute office and nice welcome from staff with refreshments offered. The consultation also provides you with a small gift. Tips: They will tell you not to get the Groupon and their in-store packages are designed to offset you any savings from it anyways. After reading the reviews while waiting 40 minutes in the lobby, I've come to the conclusion that these people who leave there 5 star reviews are given a discount for their "excellent" reviews. It hurt don't get me wrong... but went well overall. I like their flexibility with payment options, as well as the friendliness and persistence of representatives. They will put one person as a point of contact, who can text you and call you to check in, however this may not appeal to people who prefer less contact. She was so sweet and so informative. I really felt like we were able to bond, and we literally started having a casual conversation like we knew each other for a awhile .. if you need your lip fillers or face lines done , you should definitely have them done with Kerry she was absolutely a sweetheart and very professional, and very detailed on her work which I really Commend her and I really appreciate that. I'm currently getting a tattoo removed at the Laser Away in Fremont. I've had 6 appointments so far and I've had a consistently good experience each time! Booking is easy, the staff is really kind and friendly, and the salon is extremely clean. I felt very safe at each appointment (in terms of COVID precautions). My tattoo has significantly faded and while it's not fully gone as I had optimistically hoped, I definitely see a big difference and will be able to easily cover up what's left with makeup. Pro tip - after doing your numbing appointment, ask for an ice pack to place on the area. Makes the laser removal hurt way less read more
