Update! I went back to LaserAway after purchasing a 6 pack of Clear and Brilliant on sale from one of their product specialists, Danielle. It was a little bit uncomfortable but she prepared me and told me step-by-step what to expect. Pro tip under " old enough to know better"! - In the morning when you wake up make sure to read their aftercare instructions! I put on a moisturizing cream and then rummaging through my mini jars of stuff I found a gel and not wanting to put on my reading glasses on my newly smooth face I thought I would seal it in. I got an email from LaserAway About aftercare-decided to hold my reading glasses on top of my face and it specifically said no Hyaluronic- I mean the girls a LaserAway had said stuff like that but I wasn't really paying attention at that point LOL. I looked at the stuff I put on my face and sure enough it had hyaluronic acid. I immediately removed it and did what they told me to do Vaseline, Since I didn't have Aquaphor Now my face is so smooth and it definitely made an impact. It's been awhile since I had any laser treatments done so I recently booked a package of six treatments with the Clear + Brilliant laser. I did some research prior to the consultation with the team here but they people working the front desk are pretty pushy. My consultation was only 15 minutes and the girl immediately went from "this will help with any pigmentation, pores, and scarring from acne" to "we have payment options". I asked her to please give me more information how why this laser is different than other treatments such as how deep into the pore this goes, how the procedure works and was left to basically do my own research. They gave little information during the consultation and immediately jumped to their payment plan options they offer and getting me to apply right away. I did one treatment out of five so far. The Clear+Brilliant laser has made a difference and there is minimal downtime since it is non-invasive. Your skin will be a little bit red, then it will feel like sandpaper, and then it will even itself out after a few more days. Prior to having my first treatment done the lady offered me face wash and then brought me into one of the rooms. She laid the wood stick and the lidocaine on the counter without any further directions. Previous places had a nurse apply this - this place has you frost your face like a cupcake yourself. After a few minutes of having nobody in the room I walked out to see if I was supposed to be waiting for an employee - the lady at the front desk did not realize this was my first treatment ever and needed more direction. She was apologetic and then helped me out. She said she felt bad. So, I sat in the room while waiting for the numbing cream to kick in and another nurse comes into to tell me that they are moving me to another room and to go into the hallway and wait - so I did. To cut this review short, the first time in the office for the procedure was a little lacking in the information. Since I do have five other treatments to go - I will consider updating this to be a higher rated review once the rest are complete. I do highly recommend getting the numbing cream since the laser can be uncomfortable in certain places. read more

So far I've had nothing but great results & experience from LaserAway. The ladies at Lake Forest have been so kind...great customer service, etc; Anna at the front desk is always so pleasant! As far as results go, I'm happy with them so far. I've only had 3 sessions on my underarms. After the first 2 sessions my hair was almost 100% gone and I was blown away! But the ladies at the front desk were honest with me, and said it'll grow back still...which it did, but about 50% finer, which has been awesome that I no longer have razor burn with the finer hair! I still have quite a few more sessions to go before I'm done shaving, but only after 3 sessions I can tell a difference, and I'm pleased. I'm thankful that this place seems legitimate. They were up front about what I should expect, results wise, and so far they've been on point. Looking forward to the end result! read more

Ok another story!! :) It was a month or so before my wedding. I've always had a very prominent furrow wrinkle, due to my incredible facial expressions. I had been planning to ask about getting just that single area treated to relax the wrinkle for my big day. On this particular day I was in for an appointment. I was on time, but it was way past my appt time (what's new?!) so to kill some time I asked the receptionist about what the ballpark price would be just to fix the area. She was VERY good about her job, I'll give her that, but holy crap... she immediately jumped up, grabbed notes for pricing, sat me down (in the waiting area, again, in front of the room of people also waiting for their past-due appts), and began her spiel. She practically sharpied discerning areas all over my face, kept telling me I needed my whole face done, and would not just answer about the ONE area I was asking about. It was so pushy, overwhelming, and impersonal. I felt old, ugly, frumpy, poor, and salty. This was how I felt leaving this place every time I had an appt. I hated appt days. They always put me in a bad mood because I didn't feel like a client with human feelings, I was always made to feel like a piece of shriveled meat. read more

Don't choose LaserAway for laser hair removal. Other Laser hair removal businesses nearby can offer you the same services with better quality and a cheaper price. Laser hair removal does not remove all your hair. It depends on your hair growth however I didn't expect the hair growth to remain the same. Waxing does a better job than laser at Laser Away. Many of my girlfriends told me not to go to Laser Away but I still chose to because they are a well known business. I thought it must be for good. This company is expensive because of its hype and Kim K advertised for them which means nothing. ‍ Also, their customer service team is not professional or consistent in their promises. I truly don't see the difference in my hair growth and communicated this to them. They offered 2 complimentary sessions which I appreciated at the time. However, when I went in to receive one of those sessions they said It wasn't on file and couldn't honor that. Instead of complaining I just left. ‍ choose another place. read more

I did the cool sculpting 2 months ago on 4 areas on my tummy and I've seen ZERO changes. I'm already a petite woman, 5 feet tall, 118 pounds and In pretty good shape. (Defines not overweight) I work out & eat well. These nurses and staff at this location kept raving about how I'm "the perfect candidate" for this procedure and how I'll see excellent results, boy wasn't that a LIE! First, don't let them fool you by saying it doesn't hurt because it does! The first 10-12 minutes hurt like crazy, then it hurt even worse after each section when they massage out the tummy. All that pain, money and 4 hours for nothing! I have seen no difference at all, what a RIPOFF This was. I'm warning you all, don't waste your money on this it's not worth it! I had a smaller tummy 2 years ago from simply eating right and hitting the gym! They swear it gets rid of the "stubborn fat" but that's a lie it's false advertising and I will be reporting them for doing bad business! read more

Run!!! This place is a big scam! I purchased three tattoo removal treatments for 120.00 during consultation I was told that all needed, fast forward 3 months later there been NO visible change in the tattoo! I then meet and consult with them again, and I'm told I need 10-14 more treatments! Wth? And get a load of this it would be 1500.00 for 10 more treatments! I'm outraged with the nerve of this business to up up the prices more than 100 percent! I also will be informing the Better Business Bureau! read more
