This location remains to be absolutely amazing. I had my appointment cancelled at the Los Gatos location due to crazy weather. I called Santana Row and they were only willing to help me reschedule my appointment if I was going to their location, they told me I could call all of the individual stores in the area in order to schedule my full array of treatments. My second location to call was Mountain View, and I am sure glad I did. Kim was an absolute superstar and helped me book all of the appointments I needed within a certain timeframe. Our pups' dog sitter cancelled last min because she got sick so I had to ask the phenomenal ladies at Laser Away if it were okay if I had my 6 month puppy with me. Not going to lie.... laser hair removal has been one of the BEST investments that I've made in myself... this place is really clean. I first came here with the Groupon years ago and of course they upsold me hard on buying multiple packages... did I feel like I got sold? Yes but was the end result worth it? Also yes. It's been a few years and hair is minimal in the areas I received might need a few touch up appointments here and there but I'm happy with the results. The only thing I didn't like is inconsistency between the hair removal nurse specialists. Some do better job than others. Also I noticed a few of the receptionist here were on the Laseraway commercials pretending to be a customer. I recognized the lady at the front desk and said "weren't you on the commercial pretending to be a customer?" Think I embarrassed her... I do think they should have real customers rather than employees on the commercials but hey I get it's probably cheaper to have their existing employees advertise for them. Overall, good experience. They do a hard sell so just watch out if you aren't prepared for it... the Groupon is really a "teaser" for you to come in for more sessions... that's how they get you... or at least how they hooked me in... read more

I've had about 9-10 sessions of full body laser hair removal done here. After my 8th session of laser hair removal, hair still grows back to the same density/thickness. More hair has actually started to grow on my jawline areas. I've also gotten 6 sessions of clear and brilliant here and it did absolutely NOTHING and was a waste of money. Of course they will lie to you and tell you that every treatment they offer works and show fake before and after photos (that are typically photoshopped). I would recommend the Fraxel laser at Palo Alto Laser instead. It also costs a fraction of the price and is more effective. The last nurse I saw was very rude and extremely unpleasant. I would advise going to Palo Alto Laser or SEV laser instead of any of the laser away locations. SEV actually sells individual sessions, unlike Laser Away. For full body 1 session, SEV charges $400, whereas LaserAway ONLY sells packages. LaserAway only cares about making a buck off of you and don't actually care about their customers at all. Also my previous review was removed by LaserAway, so that should really help illustrate how LaserAway tries to manipulate their image into looking "dependable" or trustworthy. They're not. read more

I came here last week for tattoo removal and had a great experience. From the front desk staff, to the RN, Cece or CC (not sure the spelling) who administered my procedure, everyone at LaserAway was so friendly and helpful. Cece made me feel very comfortable and was thorough with informing me of my after care steps. I have been to another clinic in the past to have tattoo removal done, and LaserAway's facility seems to be a much better place overall. I will be back to continue my tattoo removal. Taking off one star due to the fact that the corporate sales people on the phone prior to me committing and scheduling are a bit aggressive. I booked my appointment 3 months in advance and paid $1800, just for laseraway to cancel on the same day. They charge you a cancellation fee if you cancel less than 24 hours before, but apparently they can cancel your appointment last minute and reschedule you for a month later. I also asked the receptionist if nearby locations have earlier availability, and they said no; when I called other locations myself though, they did have availability - so they lie to you too. Really shows you how they treat their customers. Stay away. read more

I went in on 8/20/2024 for my first laser hair removal touch-up. I have never gone to this location & will never visit again. Normally, I get a text to rate my experience. Guess what? This time they didn't sent me anything. I thought it odd, but they must know how awful they were. I was early for my appt. So, one girl asked me if I wanted to schedule my next one. I let her know that it's just a touch-up, so I will schedule as needed, since I'm done with my regular treatments. Then, the other girl went over my services & kept telling me that feet & toes were not included. Before I could get into a treatment room, a fire alarm went off in the plaza. So, that was another thing. I ended up getting into a treatment room 20 minutes after my start time. This girl was still concerned that she could not see that I had been treated for feet & toes before. I asked her what I needed to do, like pay more money or something. She said no. I affirmed that in all 8 previous visits for laser hair removal (all in SF Union Square), they treated my full arms, full legs, underarms, Brazilian, hands, fingers, feet & toes. (I used to treat my upper lip as well, but I ended up buying ANOTHER package for full face & neck.) The fact that they nickel & dime you and don't include hands & fingers with full arms or feet & toes with full legs is one thing. On top of that, I paid to include these areas on my first visit to Union Square because they failed to mention this when I bought my package. Truly inconvenient. Maybe mention these things to the person who is treating almost their entire body! So, we remedied this & I proceeded to have 8 full treatments, including hands & fingers, feet & toes. Now, this girl in Mountain View is repeatedly telling me that she doesn't see that they ever treated my feet & toes. I keep asking her, "So, what should I do now? Do I need to pay more? Where do I go from here?" There is no real answer, just that she doesn't see it in their system. After my treatment, this girl is asking me about this again. I told her I didnt know what to tell her & that we are not communicating. She is still going on about this without offering any solution. Then, she asked me to re-book, although the other girl had already asked & I had politely declined. Again, I said no & that I would not be in the area to visit this location again. The check-in process is physically distant and fast. When you leave, Traci and Mandi both work with you to get you scheduled while also reviewing your aftercare procedures. I had lower body laser hair removal with CC this fall. She was so friendly and cheerful. She explained what we were going to do, what to expect during treatment, and she was attentive to my pain levels. She avoided wincing or apologizing, which make the treatment more difficult for me, and instead hit the perfect tone of crisp/kind when asking if I needed a break. She described the red dots on my skin after treatment as a sign that it is working and made the helpful suggestion of OTC antihistamines after treatment. CC was so thorough and kind. I am a transgender woman and she was so chill about topics like removing the adhesive from my transdermal hormone patches before laser as well as smoothly sidestepping the issue of how to talk about my anatomy while giving me an opportunity to explain exactly which areas needed hair removal. Her laser technique felt really steady and even, achieving uniform coverage. I felt like she was happy to go as quickly as my pain tolerance would allow. It was my best laser experience ever. The staff at this location are you so friendly. I was new to location, my previous location was booked. I opened the door and was instantly greeted by the two receptionists who checked me in, and offered me something to drink. (Water,tea, coffee). I was than called by my nurse who would be performing the treatment. Arriana who took the time to welcome me to the location, and explained the process by step. She made me feel comfortable and suggested techniques so my laser treatments would not hurt so much. She also went over the after post laser steps and suggested products that would be beneficial to my treatment and aftercare, such as moisturizes. Don't ever go to this location! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! This place called me at 12 when my appointment was at 12:30pm and they had asked me if I was coming in because I was late and that they had another appointment after me. I clearly told them that my appointment was at 12:30 and they tried to tell me it was at 12 and I was suppose to be there at 12. I was literally 10 minutes away from the location and they tried to cancel my appt. As soon as I got there I showed them my text message and email because they're the one who messed up on their part. I still ended up going and they seen me but only thing they did for me was numb me and had me wait for 1 hour and 30 mins all just to tell me I couldn't do the filler! This place is not organized. It makes no sense to numb someone first and then have them wait to see the nurse. You're supposed to look at past history and evaluate the patient first! This place is so terrible negative stars!!!
