My first visit was extremely busy, and I paid $97 for a set that I left very unhappy with -- the nails were unfinished, different shapes and sizes, uneven lengths, and I got no design even though I requested one. I came back the next day, and another tech kindly redid the set. I was very thankful and even brought her a coffee to show my appreciation, and she did make them look beautiful at first. Unfortunately, within a week, that set started lifting and popping off. I bartend, so I assumed maybe it was from water and chemicals. About a week and a half later, I returned for a third full set, which cost around $130, and once again every appointment took nearly 4-5 hours. Even at that price point, those nails began lifting within two days. The salon did fix the lifting for free, which I appreciated, but once they hit the one-week mark, the lifting came back -- this time 7 out of 10 nails were lifting, and they were starting to hurt my hands. I reached out to the salon, but it took almost two business days to get a response. By then, the nails were so loose and painful that I had to remove them myself because I still work with my hands. The staff is sweet, and the salon itself is beautiful, but between the poor prep work, weak retention, extremely long service times, and the amount of money I spent on sets that didn't last, I decided it just wasn't worth returning unless they improve their technique and quality.

Eventually, I stopped speaking up and let the service continue. The overall atmosphere was also off. Instead of relaxing spa music, the TV played a continuous loop of Korean food videos, which made the experience feel anything but spa-like. The appointment took nearly two hours, and unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the quality of the work. Despite my disappointment, I still paid the high price for the service. When it came time to pay, I voiced my concerns and was asked why I hadn't spoken up during the appointment. I explained that communication had been difficult throughout the service, which was the main reason I struggled to express my concerns in the moment. Looking back, the results did not match the cost or the time spent. Overall, while I appreciated being accommodated quickly and offered a beverage, poor communication, an uninviting atmosphere, lengthy service time, and disappointing results made this a frustrating experience.
