I got my lashes done by Deanna for 3+ months. Refills every 2 weeks. She is lovely!! We always talked about what I loved or wanted to change about the look of the lashes. I am here waiting to get theae lashes removed here in Hawaii as they have caused me alot of issues. They feel like hard plastic. They hurt when I sleep. If I get water on them my eyes water so much I cannot see for hours. Then my nose starts running. My eyes are hurting and I have a headache. The first few days I wanted to just cut my lashes off. My husband called a lash salon here in hawaii and I have to pay 30 dollars to have them removed. I asked what type of lashes they were and waa told they were mink type lash. The salon who removed the lashes said they were touching my skin which was a bad technique. They also did not use these type of lashes. They looked pretty but were miserable on. I purchased a Groupon and had a lash lift done with Iris this past week. This was the second lash lift I've had done. Iris was great during the process, friendly, and took her time. Unfortunately, I immediately noticed that the curl on my lashes is significantly less than the first time I got a lift. There's hardly any curl to my lashes which is disappointing compared to how astounding the curl was when I first got a lift done (at a different salon). I didn't shower, exercise or do anything the first 24 hours after getting the lift done that would affect it. I reached out to Iris via text a day later to share my feedback and disappointment and essentially received a response that said, "Oh well, too bad. Thanks for the feedback!" Definitely disappointed as I was looking forward to getting my lashes done again and I had hoped Iris would have at least offered something to help. Won't be going back. read more

I went a few months ago to get my lashes done before Vegas, the salon is a little hard to find because there's one like right next to it. Iris was super nice and we had a nice chat and everything but my lashes didn't even last a week. I recently was able to get a lash lift at LashNap from Kelli, who did an AMAZING job! She was very thorough and attentive during the entire appointment. My eyes had trouble staying shut but she was so patient with me and was not deterred by this at all! I've had lash lifts done before and usually they brush your lashes up onto the pad leaving some pointing in the wrong direction when it's done and permed.
