Melanie did a great job taking care of me with a combo of lash lift, lash tint, eyebrow lamination, and eyebrow tint. It took ~65 minutes and was $190. I normally don't spend money on stuff like this, but thought I'd give it a try since I'm working out so much lately (wearing less makeup and I feel washed out). Day after service verdict: my lashes are sparse and short, so there is not a ton of help there (I'd still want mascara whenever I can), but it helps a tiny bit and would be better on someone who has more or longer lashes than I do. I LOVE the eyebrow lamination/tint a LOT more than I thought I would!! While I was there, I bought some jewelry for a new piercing I have since they have cute titanium grade studs with flatbacks. Melanie even gifted me a small bottle of hydrochloric acid since my piercing was a tad infected - SO sweet of her. I LOVE MY BROWS! That's it. That's the review. Thanks for coming. No but really- what a fantastic experience. Melanie was incredible. She was informative and a great conversationalist. She didn't mind when I started to treat her like my therapist and her shop was so comfortable and well decorated. As for the service- I can't WAIT to add this as a monthly cost because that's what it is a now- a necessary expense. My brows have never looked better I originally made the appointment for lamination and tint but Melanie had advised me that tinting was unnecessary and I'm glad she did. She also took a portion of the price off since she did not include the tint. She shaped my brows beautifully and I can truly say that the look I have been desperate for for years- I finally have. They look fuller and more healthy and I can't recommend it more for other big browed beauties As for the lash lift- I think I had "extension" level expectations so I am not entirely sure the difference was worth the price for me but I am glad I tried it with the brow service because now I can scratch lash lifts off my list. If you're thinking of getting a lash lift, this is your sign! Melanie (the owner) is phenomenal!! I shopped around for a good aesthetician who can do lash lift well. For one, lash lift isn't a cheap service. Many places offer lash lift $120/session or above easily. Melanie offers $75/session (which is a discounted price for many places if you go on Groupon). I like a lash tech who is no frills and just get to work It took Melanie only about half an hour and I couldn't be happier about the result! It was incredibly fun getting to know how Melanie started her business and this 30 minutes session felt like 3 minutes! Outside of her studio, there is a small lot that you can park. Not my favorite experience. It was my first time getting my lashes lifted and it was surprisingly scary. She wasn't very welcoming, when I first walked in she didn't even ask for or say my name, just called me by my appointment (tinted brow and lash combo). Then once she put the things on my eyes they immediately started itching. She did adjust them when I commented, but they still poked me the whole time. Since my eyes were closed I had no idea what she was doing, but it felt like she was poking stuff at my eyeball (since the lash line is where my eye meets). This might have been okay, but she didn't really talk to me for the whole hour and there were weird noises in the building and of course I couldn't see so I had no idea what was going on. It was a really tense hour, and I now have a new fear of going blind from lash lifting. Overall, I didn't think this would be stressful at all (I've had lash extensions and the application never bothered me at all). So when she was done I was so out of it that I barely looked at my lashes, said good, and she sent me on my way very quickly. When I was in the car was when I realized some of my lashes were permed crooked. I haven't been able to fix that with the spoolie, and only a lot of mascara kind of fixes it. Super happy with my lash lift. I use a lash serum, so my lashes are quite long. I struggled with using curlers on my own. The classic lash curler left a terrible crimp, and the heated lash curler barely lifted my lashes. I'll be going with a lash lift from now on. Melanie worked quickly and efficiently.
