I genuinely thought every girl who helped me was sweet and professional. My issue is with the product and the results. I purchased a package of three spray tans. After my first session, I loved how it looked when I left, but once it developed, I looked extremely orange. Like Donald Trump Orange.... I couldn't even wait very long before booking my second session because I wanted to fix it. At my second appointment, I explained that I didn't like how orange I became. I've only had spray tans done in Miami before this, and I've never had this issue. I was told we'd try a different solution or method. During that visit, I also ended up purchasing a $45 tan remover and exfoliating mitt because it was recommended for my next appointment. Looking back, I don't really feel like I needed it, and I honestly felt a little pressured into buying it. It's still sitting unused. Unfortunately, my second spray tan was even worse. It was sticky, developed with noticeable streaks, and I looked orange again. It was so bad that I showered it off within an hour because I couldn't stand how it looked. When I came back for my third session, I had the same technician who did my first tan. I explained everything that happened during my second visit. She mentioned that my clothing may have contributed to the streaking, so I followed all of her recommendations and wore loose clothing afterward. She also told me we'd use an espresso solution so I wouldn't turn orange this time. The application itself was great. It wasn't sticky, and she did a beautiful job applying it. But once it developed, I was orange AGAIN. At that point, I realized this just isn't the right product for my skin tone. I'm Latina with olive skin, and I tan naturally very well. I was looking to become darker version of myself like healthy, bronzed glow. Instead, every time the tan developed, it leaned orange on me, and I was unhappy with the result. That's why I'm leaving a 2-star review. Honestly would've let a 1 star review for the tan and products but gave an extra star because how nice were the employees. They were all genuinely kind and tried to help. But after three different sessions, three opportunities to adjust the process, and multiple conversations about my concerns, I still ended up with the same result. Maybe these products work great for other skin tones, and that's reflected in the many positive reviews. But if you have an olive or naturally tan complexion like mine, I think it's important to know that your experience may be different. I considered reaching out privately instead of leaving a review, but after three appointments, I'm not really sure what the solution would be. Another spray tan would likely give me the same outcome. I spent money on a package, additional products, and multiple appointments, only to end up removing the tan because I didn't like how orange it looked. I truly appreciate how kind everyone at the salon was, and I wish I had a better experience. I just think there may be a gap in either the product selection or the approach for clients with olive skin tones, and I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future customers.

I've been to LuxeLash twice now, once for a lash lift and most recently for extensions, and both times have been a dream. Melanie is so kind and personable and does an amazing job to boot. She's located within Maven Salon, which is decorated nicely and has a lovely calm & inviting atmosphere. Her prices are fair and reasonable, especially for the great work she does. I recently decided to skip makeup for a month to see if my skin sees any benefits but hated looking like I just rolled out of bed. The lashes make me look awake and put together, all while appearing like I just wear an amazing mascara. After getting my extensions, one of my coworkers came up to chat with me, looked at my lashes and said "wow, your eyelashes look incredible today. What do you use?" I explained that they were extensions and that I'd just gotten them done the night before. She stated that they looked so natural and gorgeous. That's exactly what I was going for: COULD be mine, but way better. It's everything I was looking for. Melanie provides that as well as an overall incredible and relaxing experience. I am someone that if I have been burn once I am extremely cautious about going to someone unless I am for sure. Melanie was absolutely amazing and did exactly what I wanted and I got amazing results. Typically I'm laying getting my lashes done for at least an hour and Casey was extremely fast. When I move here, she will 100% be my go to lash gal. I 100% recommend UPDATE*** So I've been going to Casey for about a year now and I still stand by my review. It amazes me every time I get a fill, how fast she is and how amazing my lashes look every time. When i tell peers that my lash fill is usually only 30 minutes long, they are amazed because the places they go take 1.5 hours. My old lash place used to take that long and it sucked. Getting my lashes done with Casey doesn't feel like a chore. It's a quick in and out amazing service and I'm constantly recommending her.
