I went here for my first ever time getting lashes done (I'm very behind on the trend, I know) and had a great experience. I was a little nervous, seeing as how it was my first time and my lashes are stick straight, but the owner of the studio made me very comfortable each step of the way, and assured me my sparse and straight lashes wouldn't be a problem. She'd always tell me what she was doing so I was never surprised or jumpy. They also fell out incredibly fast. LOVE LashPilot. This is the second time that I have done brow lamination there and they just make my brows look fuller and more styled. If you have never tried it I highly recommend you do. I purchased a groupon for Full Set of Light Volume Natural Eyelash Extensions - the lashes look nice but the CUSTOMER SERVICE was completely unprofessional. I had an appt at 2:45 pm. I called at 2:55 pm to inform that I was running late. They said that my 15 minute grace period was up and that they had already charged me a cancelation fee. 2:45-2:55 = 10 minutes NOT 15 minutes.. it's simple math. They CHARGED me $35 before my time was up and I DID NOT cancel. I told them I was running late and I want to keep my appointment. That is greedy, cruel, and dishonest. It's criminal!!! I asked if they can refund my card and they said "No sorry we do not do refunds. You are a groupon customer so you already got a discount from purchasing groupon compared to our actual prices. We will give you $10 back if you want." So now I am getting dissed and belittled for being a groupon customer? WOW!! Then don't use groupon if you're going to try to make people feel bad for purchasing through groupon. Long story short. Lashes were nice and ok - they weren't completely full. I had hired Tram to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day last November. She is very professional in her work and listened to what type of look I wanted for the wedding. She came early on the day of the wedding to prepare me for my tea ceremony look and came again later in the day to touch up my makeup and change my hairstyle for the ceremony and reception. My reception hair reminded me as if it was Rapunzel's hair and I loved that! She brought another assistant who did my 4 bridesmaids' hair and makeup. I rarely write reviews but think you should know. Don't go. I usually go to Westlake Village but decided I needed to find a place in Santa Monica for convenience sometimes when I can't get to valley. Twice I've been before and have made my appointments in advance. Both times heard from owner just before appointments that she's running late be of traffic form OC where she lives. Well it's LA, there's traffic, plan accordingly. They're also not the gentlest with lashes. Both times pulling at my lashes to the point my eyes will not stop watering and I'm about to jump off the table. Oh also when she's working on your lashes she's constantly taking calls. Sorry but this place is just not for me. I'll stick to my girl in Westlake only from now on. I've been scared straight. Oh and the price tag is higher than other places. I get a fill every 10-12 days. Like them looking on point at all times. Hope this helps. read more
