I visited them for the first time recently…read more When I first came in, they gave me an iPad to sign a waiver, which clearly requires their staff to walk you through the procedure you're about to get, how it works, and what the risks are. However, they simply left me with the iPad and walked away. Another issue I had with the waiver is that they don't let you submit it, which would've locked everything in and prevented further editing. Further, I emphasized I didn't have experience with the service and wanted a consultation. However, the person servicing me did not offer to show me examples on one of the two services I scheduled for. She showed me the lash examples and said we'd wait to discuss the brows later. My assumption was that we'd take a break after the lashes are done and then presume to design the brows together. However, that was not the case exactly. While my eyes were forced shut for the lashes, she started to work on my brows. I wasn't given sufficient time to discuss what I wanted with my brows and was rushed into a design without any examples shown to me. She cut my brows for a clean look without consent, and I wish we'd had kept a more natural look. Lastly, a couple of minor things. They took my after photo without asking for consent explicitly. They also failed to offer me the welcome drink that they requested me to sign up for when scheduling the appointment. It's not a big deal, but when they offer it to the next walk-in customer after you, it didn't make me feel cared for. I spent almost $300 total. Not a satisfying first-time experience. Not sure if I'd come back.

Melissa is timely, honest, and hardworking. She has been a lash tech for years now, and, although her locations have changed, she still does as much as she can to cater to her clients. Very rarely does she cancel on me or change my appointments last minute (and if she does change it, it's always if I can come earlier in the day, not an entirely different day. She also knows me so well by now that she knows my ideal scheduling habits). Melissa is an expert in her craft and implements the most up-to-date practices with placing lashes. Booking was super easy online, with lots of availability and reasonable pricing. I booked the classic lash extension set. Note: entrance to the studio is three flights of stairs up and all the way at the end of the walkway. The studio is clean, comfortable, and very aesthetic. My lash tech was incredibly sweet, calming, and welcoming. She actually took the time to go over different styles with me - asking about my preferences for length and curl, and even showing visual examples so I could get exactly the look I wanted/be able to visualize. I've never had that level of care before and appreciated it. Since I don't get lash extensions regularly, she also explained the differences between styles and lengths to help me understand what would suit me best. During the service, I felt pretty relaxed - she was super gentle, especially when applying the tape under my eyes (something that's usually uncomfortable/irritating elsewhere). She double checked my lashes several times to make sure I go home with a secure set that won't fall out right away. I'm approaching my 3rd week in 3 days and my left eye is still at 90% full. Though my right eye is at 50-60%. I know my lashes were short and straight and hard to make anything stick. But she did try her best and I'm not complaining. She gave me the exact look I wanted. Full wispy and no I absolutely love it. I'm going back to her again for refills bc I trust this time around will be even better.
