So I had my appointment this past Saturday for eyelash extensions, have recently been interested and saw that Lashbar was opening down the street .. literally 5 minutes down my house. Went to the grand opening and booked my appointment. I have strained my back a couple of months ago and have never full recovered..and sure enough I had a bad back all weekend. But i was too excited for my lashes I still went. Keep in mind that you lie flat on you're back for about 2 hours...when I was done with the procedure I felt excruciating pain from my back But Yung was soooooo amazing and wonderful, she brought me water, a hot towel for my back and gave me some Tylenol. And kept checking in on me every so often to make sure I was ok. Guys, she was even rubbing my back!!!! I'm so thankful to her and that is what really stood out during my experience. I decided to try LashBar Escondido because it was recommended by a couple friends and nearby. I made an appt with a junior stylist for classic set. Overall I thought the staff was friendly but I did have some issues. When I called Friday to confirm my appt for Saturday morning the receptionist kept saying I was not scheduled. After I pushed that I have a confirmation email she eventually realized that I was scheduled but did not show good customer service skills. For my appointment I planned for 2 hours but hoped that it wouldn't take a full two hours as that's a really long time to be worked on, but I planned for 2 hours anyway. I am most upset that the appointment went almost 2.5 hours with the stylist rushing at the end and by the time I was done I was so anxious and was just ready to leave. The lashes looked good but I would not go thru having to lay there with someone breathing on my face for over 2 hours straight ever again. Since it took longer than scheduled I felt I had to rush to leave. Now that some time has passed I see there has been more fallout on the side that was done second since she was on a time crunch by that point. I really wanted to love lashbar since I live nearby but I would not recommend it with how my appointment went. I made an appointment at Lashbar for a set of hybrid lashes. First I had to pay more for a "senior"stylist. After 2.5 hours I woke to up horrible back pain and very few lashes. All for 179.00! I've never been so disappointed and never paid so much. Don't waste your money Update: Lashbar has posted a reply to my review that is completely untrue. They NEVER suggested that I get "volume" lashes! She actually suggested that I do shorter lashes and I said no. Also, they did not offer to fix my lashes that day, even when I was crying. She said "sorry, we have other appointments " Yes I absolutely did fight the charge on my card. I had to go elsewhere the same day to fix them and pay again. Good try Lashbar. read more

I went to go get a lash lift and eyebrow wax. I paid around $160ish for no lift at all and my eyebrows were not even clean. :( The lift was bad, every other lash was pointing up and some pointing down. I also had glue all over my lash line. So disappointed. read more

How cuuuuuuuute is this place?! I've always had my lashes done at someone else's home & while they did a great job, nothing beats going to a professional brick & motor studio. I've had a difficult time w my original lash girl and the way she scheduled so discovering Lash Bar made my life that much easier. Life happens and you get busy. If I couldn't keep my appointment with my original girl, I'd have to wait about 3+ weeks to get in! And by then, it'll require a new set! Lashbar has more than one lash tech to hook you up, I didn't have to wait weeks or months to get a fill or to pay a for a whole new set. No fuss and no bs and totally easy to reschedule. If you are looking for an amazing place to get lash extensions, you have found it! The customer service here is beyond incredible. They greet you when you arrive and have a sign that welcomes you. You are then offered a lychee mimosa (I haven't tried one yet, because I always have to go back to work) or water while you wait for your lash artist. Jessica is always very sweet and remembers us and chats with us during our short wait!! Yung does my lashes and Cindy does my daughter's and they are both fabulous! I went to Lashbar a few times and the very first time I had a Jr. stylist do my volume lashes which then a ton fell out a few days later. I came back for a fix and then they lasted a little bit longer. I then switched to classic (with a master stylist) and got them filled, with them falling out almost a week later. I am VERY careful with my lashes, I'm extremely paranoid about taking care of them well and had previously had my lashes done by someone else and they would last close to three weeks. This past time was the most disappointing. I had tons of lashes fall out two days after my fill and so I emailed them to get them fixed. Bailee was SUPER sweet (thank you)! and she told me I could come in for a complimentary fix. When I arrived the technician was extremely rude. She originally said that my eyelashes didn't look that bad (even though they went from full to hardly any lashes) and then said "well did you call"? When I told her how thin they had gotten. I told her "yes" and she said "well what did they say"? And I explained to her how the appointment would be comped and she turned to Bailee and said "is her appointment comped today"? She told her yes because she emailed us two days after her appointment and so many shouldn't have fallen out like that. She then took me back and filled my lashes for over an hour (so obviously a ton had fallen out) and then not even a WEEK later TONS more fell out. They are so thin and awful looking I have to now go to someone else and have a whole new set put on. I'm just really really disappointed in the fact that they came off so easily every single time I went to this studio and I know that's not normal because I've been to other salons where they last a LOT longer. read more

She was nice, but needs to do a better job of walking clients through the procedure. It was my first time and she wouldn't inform me of what she was doing, and just left me lying there for half an hour without telling me that I would have to lie there and wait while the solution worked. I'm also not sure if they use the keratin solution as they propose. The person doing my lashes also had super long nails, which is a potential source of infection, especially when dealing with someone's eyes, or can cause an abrasion if she accidentally pokes someone's eye. read more

Ive gotten my lashes done about 3 different times but was never really happy with them so I did lots of research while looking to get them done again. I liked the reviews on lashbar so I messaged them asking when I was able to get an appointment thinking it wouldn't be until the next week but they had a cancellation so I was able to get them done the same day! I think her name is letty but she was very nice, I told her what I liked and she told me what she recommended based on my lash length. It was two hours long which is pretty normal but she did soooo good, I can honestly say, I LOVE my lashes! Definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be coming again! read more
