A friend and I decided to try this place out a few months ago and since then I have debated writing this review. First off, the girls that work here are very sweet, which is the only reason I didn't initially want to write a bad review, but I felt like my experience here was a total waste of my time and money. I came here to get my lashes done for my birthday, and after the lady doing my lashes started them, she said my lashes were too long and thick for extensions and that she would have to cut them off if I wanted a natural look. The eyelashes they use are super thick and black and plasticy, and the glue burned my eyes severely. I got the lashes done a day before I was supposed to go on a trip, and for the next 4 days, my eyes were extremely irritated until I ripped my lashes off. To be completely honest they looked like I had a broom on my eyes, and there were so many lashes glued to my lashes that they were falling off in chunks. I spend over $120 for lashes to last 5 days, irritate my eyes, and fall off in chunks. This review was long overdue. read more

I've been absolutely satisfied with my lashes from here. I initially received a full set (by Nina) right before Thanksgiving and couldn't have been more satisfied. I did receive two fills by another tech and I wasn't too happy. I recently got a filled by Susie and was also amazed by the quality of her work.......so much that I scheduled my next appointment with her. My natural eyelashes are pretty thin and nonexistent but I leave from my appointment with them looking full and natural. Also the price is just right as many places in California are getting outrageous and many that I've tried the quality of their work completely sucked. I believe the key is finding a good tech. From my experience I know that there are two I can book with and come out satisfied so I'm sticking with those two! read more

If you are looking to get real lash extensions, this isn't the place for you. The lashes are plastic material. They also glue more than one of those horrible lashes onto your own lashes which causes your lashes to fall out along with the falsies. And when it starts to grow out a little it hurts your eyes because it's such a thick material. I asked to get thick full lashes and the girl didn't deliver at all. There was so many empty spots. The glue was absolutely horrible as well. Every time my eyes watered or when I showered, I couldn't open my eyes because it would burn. They only lasted me one week which sucks because you pay that money expecting to have them on for at least 3 weeks. Very disappointing read more

I'm extremely bummed. This was my first time ever getting lash extensions. I drove here from Newport Beach. They called me the same day as my appointment and asked if i can come in earlier and i accepted. I arrived on time, which was mentioned in the courtesy text. I had to wait an extra thirty more minutes. When done, I did not receive any verbal communication regarding after care. I did get a card with basic instructions and a wand. Again, they just handed it to me. So customer service isn't the best here. I loved my lashes! Unfortunately, i just reached a week and my extensions are practically gone. I was extremely careful with how i slept, i do not wear any make up, ensured no water even touched my eyes... It's just unfortunate how much i paid including tip and I'm extremely dissatisfied. read more

I've had nothing but issues going back-and-forth three times supposedly the owner was gonna talk to me because the girls can't seem to do what I want on a video that I asked that I show them on their page and they give me something else and make up excuses and unfortunately I've been coming back and forth they take off my lashes with their product it was so painful on my eyes. The owner wasn't there when they told me she would be present. Very uncomfortable going there now and the girls talking in different language. And over looking the person doing my eyes . And just horrible from the start. Three times no one can't seem so do the lashes I show on their page on mine I left crying. My eyes just hurt and I feel so ugly. I have to go to work on set like this. I went because I got recommended by model and just nothing but disappointment. I have to wait for couple of day to get them removed somewhere else. I have to be honest and sorry I will never recommend anyone to get their lashes done here. Don't waste your hard earned money here every week, this business is being promoted by influencers and regular ordinary people don't get the same treatment or results. My lashes were horrible, she didn't put any lashes on the corners of my eyes instead, she told me me my eyes are small that it will droop. After explaining to her what I want, cat eye look and specifically told the tech the ends I wanted it longer, she still didn't do it. No, my eyes are not small, you're lousy inexperienced and shouldn't be allowed to put lashes on anyone. What's the point of asking the client what style they want when technicians clearly don't know what the hell they're doing and they don't follow through. The amount of money they charge and having bad technicians working on clients is wrong. My lashes started falling off on the second day and worse my regular lashes are falling. They had offered to fix it but I don't need to come in to get it fixed, I will stay away instead. Don't waste your money here ladies and don't get fooled by all the Instagram photos. read more

Nina and Anna are two of the most self absorbed individuals who talk about their own customers behind their back in Armenian while working on them. I have Armenian friends, and all of you talk to one another in Armenian while we have our eyes closed handing you our money and tips not knowing a word you have said. This is disgusting and unprofessional business and on top of that Nina drops unused lashes all over my hair so messy! I have to brush all the loose lashes out of my hair. There are more dropped lashes than on my actual eye. The last straw was when Nina and Anna both used this glue that literally had be gasping for air. Toxic environment, toxic business practices, toxic fumes from the glue and add two very toxic women that run this place? No thanks. I'll take my dignity money and business elsewhere. I came into Lashes De Anna for a mani pedi and the worst experience. Honestly I don't think any of these women are licensed and they for sure don't know what they are doing. None of the equipment was sterilized or cleaned. They removed the gel polish and started to apply the first coat. I was so annoyed that I had to ask for my nails to be cleaned‍before they where painted. I won't get my nails done here EVER not worth the price. They do ok Lashes but they are never consistent! I support local business. It's what makes Burbank maintain that "small town" atmosphere. Companies here support each other and locals definitely value the nearby businesses. Lashes De Anna is located very near my son's school and is on the way to the Starbucks I frequent every morning. I walked into the lash studio one morning and met Anna - the owner. I explained to her that my first experience with semi permanent lashes was not very good. She re-assured me that she understood and guaranteed they will do a great job. My fault is I did not read reviews previous to scheduling an appointment with Lashes De Anna. I do not have a single good thing to say about this spot. Here are the issues I encountered: 1. When I arrived they rushed me into the bed, did not give me a heads up on how long the process will take which ended up being 2 hours; 2. They did not listen to what I was expecting to have. Anna (in Armenian) spoke to the lady who worked on me and gave the quickest instruction I could not understand because I am not Armenian; 3. The studio wreaked of cigarette smoke; 4. Mid way thru I had to take a bathroom break - I saw what my half done lashes looked and when I expressed that I did not like it the women rushed me back in bed and said it's ok - those lashes are what most women like and to be patient it will look fabulous; The hair strands were super thick, heavy and had a plastic texture to it; 5. My eyelids began to hurt - a burning feeling. I told the woman working on me and she just shrugged it off. She said that feeling will go away. I just have to get used to the lashes; The following day I returned to the salon so they can remedy the casualty they had done to my eyes. They helped but they were clearly disgruntled. Again in Armenian they were exchanging comments as I laid in bed. Truth is - I have only written two negative reviews ever - ever. This is the second one. I find it hard to make negative comments like this one. However I hope that other women would read this and not make the mistake of having their lashes done at Lashes De Anna. I highly recommend Nellie for eyelash extensions! I've had extensions done 5-6 different times and she is by far the best I've had. Not only is the price very competitive but they are really well done. My eyelashes look great and they also get less wonky/cooked than others do when I've been sleeping or haven't brushed them. IT'S MY EYES I ONLY GET ONE PAIR PAY ATTENTION!!! I specifically asked the lady to not do flared lashes cause I've worn them before and it doesn't match my eye shape and I told her to do natural yet full.. after opening my eyes I was SO SO SO BEYOND DISAPPOINTED but they tried to convince me that it looks amazing and that now I know what to ask for next time around..UHHHHH I told them what I wanted when I first walked in(I just didn't know how the numbers worked!) $120 for the set.. as I'm paying they convinced me to get the soap from them cause apparently I ABSOLUTELY needed it.. $25 for a simple eye soap..!!! I didn't apply anything or even showered for 24 hours just to make sure nothing happens to it! Next morning I open my eyes and 6 lashes came off.. SIX!!! Next morning 7 more fell.. they were SOOO dry they use veryyyy bad glue and the lashes are so fake looking and they put more than one fake lash on your own lash and that's very bad cause it makes your own eyelash fall off too.. this is my 5th day and I have absolutely no lashes attached to my lashes.. on the way out Anna asked me if I want to book my fill I said no thank you she texted me again asking and I told her how disappointed I was she did not even offer to fix it for free she only said come we'll take a look at it.. waste of money waste of time and waste of your own precious lashes.. save yourself the $150 and go to a different place I'm sure the extensions will last you more than 5 days!!! read more

Actually the worst experience I've ever had. For reference I went for a lash removal and new set. They didn't know I was Armenian so they proceeded to talk badly about me and the lashes I already had on saying things like "I don't understand why girls get them so long" and just bad mouthing my appearance. I can't imagine what they say to their other customers who don't understand the language and are just oblivious. I can't count the amount of compliments I get for my lashes. I absolutely adore the staff as well as Anna herself. I am glad the service takes a while because I know that my lashes are going to come out incredible. The studio is always full of clients, so I suggest calling ahead of time and not waiting last minute. I have been going to Anna for over two years! I went to two people before I found Anna and they were both horrible experiences, so when I found Anna and actually LOVED the lashes she did for me, I never turned back. I have followed her and her team wherever they may be. Her new studio, Lashes De Anna, is absolutely gorgeous. It is clean, well put-together and comfortable. Anna knows exactly how I like them (the style I get is "wispy eye" - whatever that means, I don't care, but I LOVE THEM!). I wear a lot of makeup, I work out a lot and my lashes do not fall off. I brush them daily and wash them daily with the Sinful Lashes Lash Wash and the best part is that I never have to wear mascara. I don't mind that the staff chats with one another while they do my lashes, because I usually just doze off and take a little nap (I am a kindergarten teacher, so any time to lay down, close my eyes, and not do anything is very valuable to me!). I have NEVER experienced someone doing my lashes with Anna who does not know what they are doing.
