I've been seeing Suzy here for the past 6 months or so. I love my lashes every single time, Suzy never disappoints! She is very knowledgeable, has no problem advising you on what lashes are best for you and gives great advice on how to make your fills last longer. She listens to any concerns I have and takes her time with each fill. I've had nothing but great experiences during each of my visits here. I've also recently tried Nina while Suzy was out of town, and she did a great job as well! Everyone from the receptionist to Anna are all very sweet and welcoming. And it's great to see Anna around the studio from to time, complementing your lashes and making sure everything is to your liking. I've recommended this studio to all of my friends. I came here with my close friend not too long ago, we were both very disappointed with the results. The lashes look very plasticy and uneven, as in they were applied not in a smooth direction. They looked very funky and unglamorous, in fact it looked a little ghetto. I don't think many people know about this place, their prices are high but most other lash places have high prices too, so it's understandable. Although they make it seem like they have a name out there when they don't, if you browse the Instagram page you'll see they have nearly 12 thousand followers yet they get only 100 likes on a photo. I don't think it's right to advertise yourself as someone you're not, but obviously it's the owners decision at the end of the day if she wants to buy her followers. When we got our lashes done, week removed them a week later They were so wonky and they fell out so easily even though we had listened to all their lash care directions. We had asked for a cat eye short to long look and we got nothing like we asked, we used pictures too to show what we wanted. Also even though I AM ARMENIAN I didn't appreciate how all the women would talk bad about ALL THEIR CLIENTS RIGHT INFRONT OF THEM so disgusting how a woman can make fun of a client, someone was asleep and they were making fun of how she's "breathing so heavily it sounded like a bear" These women would turn on a random Armenian music video and in the middle of doing the work on my lashes the lady stopped and started dancing and singing to it Like ok sometimes it's great to have a fun work environment !! SAVE YOUR $$ DO NOT TAKE THE LASH COURSE. This review is long over due. I took Anna's advanced master lash class, 2 months ago. Let me just start off by saying I went to her based off HER WORK ON INSTAGRAM. yeah there's a difference between someone being good at THEIR WORK & them being able to teach a course/have the patience/want to share their knowledge. I should've known better when I noticed she had NO student work from her classes to back her up as a teacher. 0 student reviews 0 student work. She was late to class, was always on the phone, anytime you asked a question she'd avoid it by answering with nothing correlating your question. Never shared where she buys her supplies/tools or anything to help us start off instead she said "you can buy off me", she said "tbh you won't be able to be somewhat good until ATLEAST 6 months from practicing" if someone comes in with "straight" lashes anna asks them to pay for a lash lift first then come back for lash extensions because it's "too hard to work on straight or short lashes" I had a model come in & she announced to the class how I was having the worst time in class because my model barely had any lashes & it's too hard to work on someone like that she called it a "waste of time" for bringing her! I have screenshots being told to bring easy people to work on. Whole time she's on her phone while we're practicing lashing each time any of us would struggle we'd have to keep calling her over and over and she'd just fix the problem HERSELF on the model instead of helping & would proceed to go back on her phone while her ASSISTANT would go on live showing us working on her Instagram. She never taught us how to do fills until one of us brought it up and she said "whoops I forgot ya I'll show you real quick" like girl she didn't even try to hide the lack of effort if you have any questions if you're still not sure to spend the $ message me I have MANY more reasons. Let's not forget when she called me out in class saying "I know she doesn't like me" 5x like yeah maybe because I can't get a REFUND from a course I learned NOTHING IN. I Spent money to take a lash course AGAIN elsewhere where she actually has lots of student reviews and student work pictures to BACK HER UP AS A TEACHER and she did an AMAZING JOB at teaching us I brought the same model I originally brought to Anna's course when she had told me that my model was too hard to work on & wouldn't learn well guess what? I got a hybrid and volume set down the first day I took the other lash techs course since she actually knew how to teach (i have pictures if not believable) :) & got actual support for my new lash career from my new course where she actually sent emails of where to buy her tools/supplies/bed/chairs, etc without pushing to buy FROM HER. The place is great, the technicians are very sweet and all have proper training. I'm sorry but some clients come in prepared to complain even before their service has been completed. Honestly herd great thing about it , so decided to give them a try. Although they had good service it was a bit disappointing when they didn't let me do what I wanted!! She kept telling me that my eye shape is not suitable to the look I wanted when I specifically purchase that type of lash and that's the look I wanted. Anna just kept telling me to trust her and that she's been doing this a long time but I know what I want!! The doll look they gave me , I still hated in the end!! Also I wasn't presented with options of lashes material and I was told there are different types of lashes. I never went back due to their pushy demeanor, and I couldn't wait for the lashes to come off!! I will say this ... they stayed on a longggg time at least 2 months !! four stars because they didn't really care what I wanted to do and I felt like they pushed product they wanted to get rid of. I was debating if I should write this review and then I decided to let my voice be heard. My first experience here was not the best. I was referred by one of my clients who gets her lashes done by Anna and Nina. Anna was not available so I decided to go with Nina. When I called to make my appointment they informed me that there will be an extra $20 charge for my fill because I had originally gotten my lashes done somewhere else. I was fully aware of the extra charge and didn't have an issue paying it. When I got there Nina didn't care for my lashes and told me that she thinks they're too heavy for me. I'm a lash tech and I am fully aware of how much weight is on my lashes. (They were not that heavy) Not to mention my lashes were 2.5 weeks old at this point and they weren't even that full. All I wanted was a fill. Not a full set and I certainly didn't ask her to make any changes to what I already had going on. I literally just wanted a fill. She did explain that my lashes were different than what they had at their shop so it might look different. I was also fine with this because I like my lashes to have different thicknesses and length. This creates more depth and dimension. Long story short she decided to remove my volume Lashes and give me a fresh new set of classic lashes without consulting with me first. She was messy and kept throwing the old Lashes that she was taking off all over my face and neck. I had to keep wiping off my face because I felt something itchy. She was also very unprofessional and literally answered her phone 4 times to pickup a personal call. Then kept cracking jokes with her colleagues that were working next to me in their language. I speak a different language too but i never do that in a professional setting. I mean seriously?!?! As a professional you have to keep a comfortable and relaxing environment for your clients. That definitely was not the case here. Either way I kept my cool and decided not to throw a fit. Once I finished she handed me a mirror and said "oh I like this better" WHAT?! It's not about what you like. It's about delivering what I asked for. Didn't happen! Once again I kept my mouth shut and walked up to the register to pay. At this point I was approached by a new lady who looked like she was about to give me a speech by the way she approached me. It was more like let me kiss her ass before I break the news to her. She told me that they have to charge me more because Nina had to give me a new set and that I had to pay an extra $40 instead of $20 on top of the $55 fill. Seriously?! Did I ask her to give me a full set? Did I ask her to repair my lashes? No I asked for a damn fill. How hard is it to remove a few old Lashes that are hanging off and adding new ones? I was very clear that I wanted a fill. It's really not that difficult if you know what you're doing. My own lashes looked so much better and fuller before I paid $110 for Lashes I didn't ask for. Of course I walked out keeping my cool and she still got a tip from me even though she didn't deserve it. Will I be back here? ABSOLUTELY NEVER AGAIN! read more

I've been doing lashes for +2 years and this place was highly recommended and by sawing the pretty cat eye lashes I made an appointment to give a shot. BIG MISTAKE. Beside of the lash extensions they have to take care of your actual lashes based on my previous experiences. I did full cat eye set and its been 3 months none of the lash techs have changed my set or take it off to do a new set. Im totally in shock because that's not the right way to do. I told her (Marina) that please take out all of my extensions i will pay full price but give me a new set and she stated:" no it looks great you don't need to do a new full set" she just didn't bothered herself and by this statement i will concern about my actual lashes. I was going to this place for about 6 months & I loved my lashes but their customer service doesn't give them credit for any of that. Anna is so unprofessional & does not have a certain price set. I came to find out 6 months later that the eyelash soap I bought was 45$ & my friends paid either 40, 25 or 30. Lol I don't know what she's trying to do but there's lash technicians out there that really deserve business. Ps.. I went here on a referral and liked the look of the lashes so I kept going back for fills but let me tell you I will NEVER go back here again and advise anyone considering going here to AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! They are extremely unprofessional. First time I made an apt I texted the number on annas Instagram asking for an appointment with her and after a bunch of back and forth I go in and they tell me my appointment is with someone else. So I told her receptionist I wanted an appointment with Anna. Soo, after making me wait longer to rectify their mistakes I finally got them done. Second fill- I had an emergency so I wanted to change my appointment and they weren't able to accommodate me which is laughable considering anytime I go there's a bunch of girls standing around. I asked the receptionist if anyone would be willing to take me at a later time and her reply was pretty much "no the girls want to go home." Really?? And by later I meant 5 pm. 3rd fill - I'm trying to make an appointment and I keep going back and forth with the receptionist and any appointment time I want is not available so finally I move around my whole schedule to accommodate THEM and text saying "ok please give me the 9am apt" to which I receive this response " there is no appointment available at that time" me: "what? You just told me there was" her: " no there isn't, that must have been the other girl" -___- So after all of these mix ups I still refer people to the salon because Anna herself does a good job. Then i get a call from my sister in law who I referred to her saying they booked me with someone else after I asked for Anna. At this point I was annoyed to say the least, so I called the salon and told the receptionist "stop doing this its bad for your business. People think they're coming in to have Anna do their lashes and you guys spring this one them last minute" so she says "oh sorry for the inconvenience" we hang up and I get 3 calls from an unknown number. I didn't answer at first because I thought it would be one of the scam calls, so when I finally do its Anna, the owner of the salon, asking me why I yelled at her receptionist and scorning me saying it's not nice what you did LMAO. Really?? I was doing your job. You should have yelled at her a long time ago!! If that was even considered yelling. SMH. Instead of taking my criticism and running with it and improving you call and give me lip about how I was not right?? I've been in retail for 10 years darling and let me tell you a mantra you should live by "the customer is always right" Other things I've seen there I didn't like: they talk smack after their clients when they leave, there is at least 8 people staring at you up and down when you walk in. And, sorry to say but I hate smelling people's breath when your that close to someone's face, pop a MINT or wear a MASK. You're running a beauty business in the USA it's not Armenia. You have sophisticated, stylish clients coming there your place, your employees, your demeanor, should reflect that. You're going to lose business if you keep running this salon like a joke. I saw one of my favorite makeup artist go to this location and I thought why not give it a try. Costumer service was excellent. Supper friendly and on point. Now the eyelash artist was the opposite. My appointment was supposed to be at 3:30 and she ended up taking me in at 4:45. As soon as I lay down she gives me a negative compliment about my Natural eyelashes that made me think , does she even know what she's doing. They have two locations so I went to the one in Sherman oaks . I was her last appointment on Friday which was definitely a red flag because she was exhausted and she made it noticeable. The eyelashes they use are super black , thick plastic material. My eyes kept burning so much because of the amount of glue . Her phones rang twice ! The first time it rang she had her voice tone really loud and aggressive. Poked me few times and Lasted about 6 minutes. It made me feel unease and right away fence. I have been meaning to write this review for a while, however I haven't been able to get around to it. Anyways, I got my lashes done here once in July and it was the worst lash experience I have ever encountered. I was in need of getting my lashes done asap due to an upcoming event and Lashes De Anna was the only boutique that took me in last minute. Checking in wasn't a problem but it all went downhill from there. Red flags began to rise in my mind once my lash technician (Nelly) began to ask the owner (in Armenian) for guidance and approval WHILE she was doing my lashes. I was oh so scared and didn't know how to politely escape.. I ended up sticking around but once I saw the final result and touched the texture of the lashes I was very very disappointed. Lashes De Anna uses very cheap sturdy looking lashes that look incredibly fake. Aside from the lashes, you can literally smell the glue as they are applying the lashes. Within days, I went to Blinq and got the lashes removed. Luckily, I got it removed before the lashes did any damage to my real eyelashes. I regularly get my lashes done, hence I know when cheap quality material is being used.
