I was greeted like normal and asked to sit in a chair. The lady who I assumed was to do, my eyebrows came up to me, and I began to tell her what it was that I wanted done. She waved her hand at me motioning for me to put my head back on the headrest and I continued saying I just want them cleaned up little. Keep the same shape. She said nothing to me and immediately put her thread on my face. I sat back, didn't say anything and let her work. I knew what my eyebrows looked like before and how much needed to be taken off. So when I recognized that she was going higher and higher making my eyebrows thinner I asked her to stop to which she tried to tell me that it was fine and to let her keep going. It was clear she couldn't really understand me, which is frustrating. I have no prejudice against immigrants, but Jesus Christ if you're gonna work on someone's face at least understand what they're asking you to do. However, it was also clear that I was upset and not happy with the service. The owner came over who I recognized and has done my eyebrows every other time I've been in. She was extremely apologetic. She cleaned up my other eyebrow and then used me as an example for her employee. I did not sign up to be practiced on. Let me tell you that. I came in to have a licensed aesthetician thread my eyebrows. When I called back asking if I could get the name and license number of the woman , I was told that a license isn't required to thread eyebrows. That may be true, however, it told me that there is an employee working in a spa where facials massages shampoo conditions blowouts threading waxing are all performed, who is unlicensed. If you are training people at your salon who have less than 750 hours of training you need to let the client know. End of story. I now have 2 obviously different shapes on my face and am beyond embarrassed and enraged. Don't come here. It's not worth the inconsistency, it smells funny inside, it's outdated, everyone but the owner lacks in customer service skills and she's letting unlicensed people provide services.

Daughter's experience: She showed a picture of a French manicure with chrome. Two hours later she walked out with a bubblegum pink base, uneven tips, and sore fingers because the tech filed like she was sanding down a piece of wood. The tech spoke no English, so another girl kept running over to translate and eventually just sat down and finished the set. We asked repeatedly if the color was right. She insisted it was and that it would look like the picture once the chrome was applied. It did not look like the picture at all. It felt like we were the test subjects for a first-time nail tech. My experience: The pedicure lady filed my missing toenail. I told her it was gone from running but she still went after it with the drill. The massage was rushed, awkward, and she looked annoyed the entire time. The manicure was even worse. The tech had no idea what she was doing, and the pedicure lady kept correcting her throughout. At one point she brought out wax and hot towels before the gel polish. She did terrible cuticle work, polished over a nail repair from a dog bite where it clearly needed additional work, and seemed bothered that I was even there. The final bill was 250 dollars. The dumbest money I have spent in a long time. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Upon reaching the place, I was told that my appointment was "cancelled automatically by their booking system". How does this even happen? The lady at the store that if I chose to continue with the appointment and if someone came in, they'd leave my service mid-way and attend to the new client. How is this place even working with such shoddy business practices??? Why provide reservation options when the place will cancel an hour before?? Or why not have enough staff to ensure bookings are fulfilled? Found a much better and honest salon in this area.

I definitely was charged for a full set only to loose half of them on the way home and the other half overnight! Let's not forget about the new "bonding" serum she used which felt like she stuck a torch directly in my eye! The next day we exchanged a few text messages and she said she would refund me my money. Well it's the day before Christmas Eve, she ended up blocking me on her cell phone and never returned any of my calls. Keep in mind I never lost my temper... I was actually in tears because she took away something I wanted for the holidays! Jennifer is very unprofessional, is cold hearted and untrustworthy! Save your money and skip right past this lash bar! I ended up having to dispute the charge with BofA and was able to get my money back. Luckily for me I saved all of her messages.

After wards, it was easier and I guess more convenient on her end to leave and go have a chat with her friend upfront and ignore her client. Then came the harder issue for me, the perming solution began burning. Kaitlyn was prompt with helping me at that point. Speeding through to the after and roughly 3 hours after; I'm finding grief that has been left on my eyes, there are areas of tint that were not removed, and my eyes are still sensitive. First impressions can be the most important aspect of any customer service area, but it blew most trust out of the water with Kaitlyn. With this being my first eyelash lift and tint, I thought I as a customer would have been more important that whatever conversation was with her friend. Additionally, I asked about aftercare; she never brought it up.

My skin is addicted to Amanda's facials. I try to visit her at least once every six weeks for a facial to 'refresh' my skin and she is great on recommending products that suit my face. I still get breakouts regularly to the point of still using Proactivy until Amanda recommended another option. She carries the Imagine Skin Care product line and recommended the Clear Cell Facial Cleaner. Since I have been using it, I rarely get breakouts at all anymore. Again, I don't tend to spend money on facial products, but I love the Total Repair Cream too. Going to Amanda regularly and using Imagine has my skin looking better than ever. The Salon is not big but that's what I like about it. It is very professional and classy and since it is small, very personalized. Unlike other salons I have been to where the registration and waiting area is decorated very high-end, but once you get into the room, it is very basic, the equipment looks worn, as does the esthetician, this salon is very clean, nicely decorated, and Amanda always delivers first class skin work. Oh...and she also does Airbrush tanning. I was going on vacation and didn't want to go to a tanning salon but I also didn't want to blind other vacationers with my white legs so I booked an appointment with Amanda to get a spray tan. It looked fantastic and by the time I left to go on vacation, I looked like I just got back. Be sure to follow Amanda's instructions for maintenance, especially if you are going to be in the Ocean. Salt water will fade it quickly - fortunately, by the time I was getting in the ocean, I had a base tan so all was good. Even living in Plano, going to see Amanda in Wylie is definitely worth the drive. I even bought my monther-in-law a gift certificate to see Amanda and she is now recommending Amanda to all her friends.
