The studio is the cutest place ever, very calm environment. All the girls are so sweet and cheerful! Shannon is the lash stylist I have gone to 3 times now I believe. Wow. Just wow. I haven't had lash extensions in a while, but i figured since I'm getting married I should get them done. Emily (the owner) fit me in to their schedule and responded so quickly. When I arrived at their location in Carlsbad Village, Maddie greeted me at the door and was super cheery. She asked me what I wanted and was able to translate that into amazing lashes. The last time I got lashes I had a very bad reaction to them, but they use organic glue and the lashes feel lighter than my own lashes! A few of my lashes had fallen out over the next two days due to sleeping on my side or maybe my lashes grow out too quickly. Emily was able to fit me in the same day so that my lashes would be perfect for my wedding day! I am feeling so grateful for these ladies! read more

I wanted length, not too much of a heavy eyeline, wanted my eyes to pop and she definitely killed it. I LOVE MY LASHES. Love the spacing, the length, specially love the lightness of them!! I just washed the lashes this morning and I Love the fact that my eyes didn't "sting" at all when I washed the lashes (before my eye would sting a little everytime when I'd open my eyes or cry, I'd have to dry it out for relief, not sure why) I also love the fact that she didn't take long doing a full set which was amazing bc I normally get anxiety and I've gotten dizzy before from them taking so longggg lol but nothing but a pleasant experience with her, totally recommend and make sure it's Savannah Scherer (since there are 2 Savannahs at Lash Pop). I chose LashPop because all the photos I saw here and on Instagram looked super natural and the prices were definitely competitive for the area. I typically go to Emily, and I love her work! I swear she had the most gentle touch, I've fallen asleep on her table on more than one occasion. Not to mention her application is super precise and I've found my lashes to last at least three weeks before needing a fill. Most importantly, I feel like Emily really listens to what you want- I needed lashes short enough to fit behind my glasses but long enough to still have that oomph and she found the perfect balance for me. read more

*Update* I went back for another set 3 weeks ago before leaving on a trip for my birthday & am just as thrilled now as I was after my initial post! I love that scheduling can be done via text (Emilys busy so if you don't hear back right away just give it time- she'll text u back). They've moved to a new office space thats super cute & parking is a breeze. I'm scheduling my fill for next week & am still so happy I found this place- I refer ALL my friends/beauty techs/etc...you can't go wrong here! ------------------------------------------------ *Original Novel* These girls are AMAZING!! I had Kelcee who was so sweet & the most gentle lash tech I've ever had! The hybrid milk set I got lasted longer than ANY lashes I've had...sparse lashes were clinging on 3+ months later!! (Crazy, I know!) *MY HISTORY:* I started lash extensions in '08 when they weren't very common & quickly became addicted. After 3 years of full-time extensions my tech moved away and I had some poor experiences; Placement that poked my eyelid & felt like needles...lashes falling off after a few days...or horrible irritation from the glue... So, I took a break and was horrified to find my natural lashes extremely damaged & sparse. It scared me off them until a friends wedding in Prague last October made me decided it was time to try extensions again! The most important thing to me was finding a GREAT lash tech, after reading hundreds of reviews I chose Lash Pop based on the ratings & the photos (which gave me confidence in their ability to achieve different looks). *LASH POP EXPERIENCE:* I text Emily and scheduled an apt with Kelcee. It was easy & painless (Bonus: they were also offering a discount for new clients on their Instagram! Yay!) The office is calm, the music wonderful, and although I was warned to bring a sweater because they keep the room cool I was 100% comfortable in my t-shirt. I explaining I wanted a natural look w/ cat eye flare on the outer corners to help lift my slightly downward slanted eyes. I was hoping for natural, but full...light, but thick...Essentially I asked her for the impossible & I it so I just trusted her ability & boy did she deliver! Usually I flinch involuntarily when the tech is combing or trying to grab a last with the tweezers but she WAS SO GENTLE I WAS HALF ASLEEP! She's obviously very skilled & was definitely the most delicate tech I've had! I was shocked at how LIGHT THEY ARE..it doesn't feel like you have extensions on at all! When I looked in the mirror I was a bit worried they were too full but quickly realized I was wrong & they were PERFECT!! As the lashes started to shed they continued to look lush without ever overpowering my face...I only wore makeup on the day of the wedding & spent the rest of the vacation bare faced without ever feeling naked & unkempt. Its magical what lashes do for your confidence! My set not only stayed on longer than ANY of the previous lashes I've had, but almost 3 months later I still had some clinging onto the outer corners! I cannot recommend these girls HIGHLY enough!! They know what they're doing, the work is impeccable & worth every penny, PLUS THE PRICES ARE PHENOMENAL for fills which makes it easier to maintain on a budget. I pondered on whether I should write a review or not, but after thinking about it I've decided to express my frustrations. Prior to making my appointment, the whole appointment making process was very impersonal. After leaving a voicemail inquiring about a lash lift and tint I was texted back the next day with availability slots. I clearly stated the service I was wanting. While laying there with my eyes shut with perm solution on them I asked my technician about the lift and tint process. She informed me that they do not tint. I wish I was made aware of this prior to making an appointment. The yelp pictures and info posted states that they do a lift and tint. Very disappointed, because the tips of my lashes are blonde and the results are very minimal after spending $113:( If I would have known that they do not do tinting I would have scheduled elsewhere. There goes a hundred bucks. read more
