I don't know exactly how long I was in the OR, but it genuinely felt like less than 5 minutes! Affordability and friendliness are what give these guys such a high rating... the day of the procedure was the quintessential assembly line....I got there 10 minutes prior to my appointment and then waited 2 + hours for the procedure with the responses from staff being vague... it's definitely a money maker... there is discomfort during the procedure but there doctor is responsive and sweet and everything happens quickly... there should be given numbing drops for post procedure pain... but you get what you pay for... The pain felt after there procedure is almost unbearable... it was humbling and exhausting... but, it goes away after 4-5 hours and then slowly goes away completely.... getting lasik has been a dream I never thought possible, literally... the staff are professional and competent... but do your research... read more

I've worn glasses since I was about 4 years old. I've always seen the world through very strong corrective lenses. When Lasik first came to be, I knew I wouldn't be a candidate, so I let it slip from my mind. Fast forward to two/three weeks prior to this review. I went in for a consultation expecting to be told Lasik would not be an option for me. But when I was told that I was a great candidate, and thoroughly explained as to why, I couldn't believe it! The staff was extremely friendly, the facility was very clean, and the technology was state of the art. On the day of the procedure, after being under the laser for about 10 minutes, I sat up and immediately saw the results! I was able to see clearly without glasses since before I was four! I shed tears of joy & gratitude. Dr. Feng was outstanding!! Not only does his credentials and Bio show it, but his work does as well. This goes for his staff also. I was nervous to get the procedure done but after having my initial exam with Dr. Morgan and having all of my questions answered I was pretty confident in making an appointment to go ahead with surgery. The day of my surgery Dr. Smith went over the procedure with a lot of detail which I greatly appreciated. He talked with me step by step with what the procedure would be, checked my vision after it was done and I was on my way. I could see almost perfectly within 4 hours. Wish I had done this years ago. I setup an 8am appointment on December 8th and was the first one to arrive. I patiently waited for 20 minutes as my paperwork sat on the counter not sent back for the doctor to pick up. After my documents went back i continued to wait 30 more minutes as 8 other patients were being seen. The receptionist informed me that they were seeing the other patients because they would be done faster. At about 9am, one hour after my appointment i got up and left. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift from my family and friends but I would rather choose a place that values me and my time. read more

I was terrified to get Lasik but wanted to have it done because I've been a contact lens and glasses wearer for 20+ years. I heard excellent things about Dr. Greenberg and the team at LasikPlus and made the decision to have the consultation done. I went in on a Tuesday and was cleared by Dr. Morgan to have Lasik. I was booked for surgery three days later and got an awesome discount for being a RN and for booking within 7 days of my consultation. The procedure itself took less than ten minutes and Dr. Greenberg explained everything as we went along. When it was over, I could see as if I had my contacts in. For starters, going from wearing glasses your entire life to suddenly being able to just open your eyes and see warrants 5 stars just in itself! The only reason I dropped it down to 4 was it was one of the pricier places in town. Let me break down why I chose Dr. Greenburg anyways. I was super nervous (understandably, I felt) about having eye surgery. So I really focused on finding someone who could personally recommend a doctor. And I got 2 for him. So I went there, and they got me in for my initial appt within a day, no annoying sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes. They were busy but efficient. Then I scheduled my surgery for 2 weeks later when my sister could come up and visit. I was given lots of explanations on what to expect, etc and they ran a promotion, so it ended up being about 1500/eye instead of 1750. (I would suggest getting one of those or asking around for a discount, they constantly have coupons for friends, etc.) The entire procedure was less than a minute per eye, and they helped keep me calm by wrapping me in a warm blanket (apparently that's effective for adults as well) and giving me a stress ball to squeeze. As soon as I got off the table and stepped out of the room I was already starting to see!! Side note on Lasik in general: Bring someone you aren't afraid to be a mess around for that 1-2 hour recovery. It is miserable but well worth it. Over a year later, I can still see better than 20/20 and no longer have any of the dry eye problems etc. Yay! read more

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I felt everyone in the office were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They took the time to educate me so that I knew what to expect before, during and after the surgery. I had both eyes done while I wouldn't say I felt any pain there was of course a lot of discomfort. The doctor made me feel most at ease, they were honest with me from the first appointment that I would need it again in 10 years due to my specific situation. They surgeon was great and talked me through every step. I had my follow up appointment 2 days later (today) and just as they said everything was expected. I can see most things perfectly with some things at a distance being blurry, they told me before it would be this way, however with every nap the blurriness decreases, and should be gone within a couple weeks. I feel so thankful to have this opportunity and that LasikPlus staff were all beyond amazing. Worth every penny! read more

I was treated for monovision without regard for my lifestyle. Without regard for the fact I opted out of vision insurance and alloted money for their recommendation of lasik on one eye. Adding insult to injury, a substitute doctor performed the procedure. Read their response to my complaint: Your request to have your right eye treated at no further cost to you has been denied. Dr. Morgan explained that you were nearsighted with some astigmatism in your eyes. When he explained that you were presbyopic, as well, he tried to accommodate your vision as well as your financial needs with recommending to treat 1 eye for distance vision, hoping that your brain would accommodate your right eye vision to assist you with a "natural monovision." Based on this recommendation, you chose to fund your FSA employee account accordingly. I understand your disappointment that you may now need a treatment for your right eye that you had not financially planned. LasikPlus has several financing options available should you decide to have your right eye treated. read more

If you are thinking of giving birth your risk of your corneas becoming miss shaped and you're a vision been uncorrectable with glasses or contacts increases to 60% you can even need a transplant. I have been terrified of having Lasik done for years. I almost made myself sick from nerves the night before my procedure. . . but the staff there was great. Dr. Morgan answered all of my questions beforehand, and Dr. Greensburg was great at talking you through the procedure. It didn't hurt at all and was over in 10 mins! My vision was 20/20 up close and 20/15 at a distance when I went in for my morning check up! I can see better now than I ever could with glasses or contacts. It's amazing! I'm so mad at myself for not doing it sooner! I have to say also, that I went in for my consultation on 1/18. Lasikplus office staff failed to practice and adhere to guidelines for best overall outcomes for Lasik procedures which are standards outlined by the american academy of ophthalmology . They failed to properly inform about not wearing contacts before consult and surgery. They did not do proper testing for dry eyes after seeing in the history form that there were indications for the condition. They didn't go over why the procedure is priced the way it is. They advertise starting out at $250, but was charged $4800, for mono vision at that. They didn't do the same thing to each eye, but it still cost the same. Initially the office says that post op care is included, but it isn't. They verbally say the total package amount. It is added on and charged separate from the cost of the eye surgery. They failed to inform it was an option to get the meds with them and instead be acquired over the counter or through my health insurance plan . When questioning that, they did say I would be issued a refund for the meds, though reluctant to do so. The day of treatment was overbooked. The 10:30 appointment turned into being seen after 12:00, with no interaction with the office staff until 11:30ish. They say it states in paper work it could be up to 2 hours that you are at the facility, but by no means do you think it's because you have to wait for the procedure.Pure negligence how they schedule on treatment day especially when you have anxiety.The surgeon was only introduced minutes before the procedure and that was the only time he was seen for the whole process.You won't see him aGain. The treatment room is surrounded by huge windows were everyone can see it getting done.The office failed to inform on privacy during procedure as an option-only to find out afterwards that they do have blinds . They video and post to social media platforms when it was chosen to opt out on the paperwork , anyone in the office can be seen, heard on these videos. They are very vague and do not tell people all the risks afterwards and do not take into account your lifestyle that will affect outcomes - don't use this place! read more

Avoid this "doctor" and Lasikplus like the plague. Had my lasik done Aug 2006, and it was the worst mistake of my life. I've had nothing but problems since. I have extreme halos, star bursts glare, and high levels of astigmatism as a result of the surgery. These problems occur not only at night, but in the day light as well. I've have not drove a car at night or very low light levels since. I've have debilitating headaches as a result of this god awful decision. Please rethink having lasik, and for Gods sake, avoid lasik plus and Greenberg. read more

Super nice staff. Great facility with quick and easy procedure

When you are trying to schedule for lasik, they are your best friends! After, if you have any problems, they are not so friendly. They can't seem to get you in promptly - was told the doctor was double booked and triple booked - but yet people who want to have lasik can still schedule on-line for the date I was trying to get back in. And, you may want to keep in mind that apparently they only have one doctor with no back-up. So if he is off, like he is now for spring break, no one to see you. So even though my surgery was over 3 weeks ago, and I have complained about this awful feeling of a piece of sand under my lid the entire time, with no relief from drops. Slight swelling of lid and under eye. No help from LasikPlus. Ended up at Bennett & Bloom. I have been given eye drops to reduce inflammation and a large contact was put on the eye to buffer the rubbing of the lid. Hey, thank you Bennett & Bloom! No more scratching, watering or headaches! If your Lasik goes as planned, good for you - if you have any problems - good luck getting LasikPlus to care. I recommend picking a different place! read more

Very pleased with the entire process so far. I had been struggling with the decision to have lasik for years as the thought of elective surgery on my eyes was very scary (i have been wearing glasses for over 30 years). The staff helped to alleviate my fears by explaining things step by step and helping put me at ease the day of the surgery (they gave me a teddy bear to hold during the procedure and i sure did hold on to it tight!). I had my lasik done 5 days ago so my eyes are still stabilizing, but i am very pleased at the results. I had my first follow up and the healing process is going well. The staff and both doctors are very helpful, prompt and friendly throughout. My husband was able to watch the surgery and one of the doctors saw him watching through the glass and stopped and talked him through what they were doing to me step by step - so cool that he took the time to do that. read more

I decided to get LASIK in Louisville and went to two places. I ended up choosing LasikPlus for a few reasons. Primarily, the staff is so incredibly friendly and helpful. They truly make you feel individualized and cared for. They all remembered my name after the first of the handful of appointments. Also, on the day of the consultation, they provided me with an entire packet full of information from pricing to post-op care to medicine information to step-by-step procedure details, with no money down or anything. The other place I tried wouldn't give me any information like that without a deposit. The day of surgery was a breeze, I was in and out in less than an hour. I had significant scratchiness in my left eye that was pretty uncomfortable for the first 4-5 days, but the eyedrops helped with that. It is now two weeks later and I still have significant bruising in my eyes, but the doctors assure me that is normal and should go away soon. I am so, so happy with the experience with LasikPlus and would recommend it to anyone who is considering LASIK. The results are worth it all. read more
