Despite the place being nearly empty, they charged me a $100 cancellation fee for canceling within 24 hours. I called afterward hoping they might reconsider given the circumstances, but the manager was shockingly rude and had no interest in resolving the issue or showing any level of customer care. It's not as if we took a table away from paying customers in a packed restaurant. Charging that kind of fee when the restaurant was empty is one thing, but the dismissive and hostile attitude made it far worse. Aspen is known for warm hospitality, and everyone else we encountered was wonderful. Unfortunately, this was the worst customer service experience I had there.
