What a fantastic pizza place near Keystone and Breckenridge mountains. The pizza kitchen is a small shop, however two doors down is an extension of the pizza place with plenty of seating and a full bar. The service is fantastic, and they go out of their way to say hello and thank you the minute that you walk into the store. We ordered simple with a cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, and a salad, but it hit the spot. Maybe it's the fact that we ordered from there after a full day of skiing, however it's great quality food. I am picky about pizza dough, and this is a great blend of chew, crisp, and flavor. If you are staying anywhere close to Dillon, check this place out. Delicious pizza. Be sure to call well ahead of when you're hoping to get it as they seem to be BUSY! Called for take out and they told us 45 minutes but took closer to 1hr+ for the 2 pizzas to be ready. They were encouraging customers to go get a drink next door while waiting ($1 off with receipt). Unfortunately our order got mixed up (10" and 14" pizzas got flipped, only realized when I got home)... but all is forgiven when you try the amazing pizza. I had a very good friend in the Amsterdam (12 feet below sea level) and we took him on a tour of our great state with the goal of making it up to the top of Continental Divide on the Loveland Pass. We made it to Fairplay and he was have some challenges with the altitude even though he'd had been in Denver for a day and drinking a lot of water. So we decided to look for a place to have Pizza and found the Last Chance Pizza in Dillion. The selection of pizza is excellent, the pizzas are ready very quick, ("your pizza will be ready in 7 minutes") and the crust is AMAZING!. Be aware though there is only setting for 5 maybe 6 people and there is no beer. Neither of those deterred from the experience and the food. Jared and "Captain Carrots" (they introduce him that a way) provide excellent service were very friendly and had great attitudes. W have the house special (16") "Last Chance" and it was a very nice combination of ingredients. Jared warned us the pizza oven were very hot so if you want to experience how hot they are (and burn your mouth) dig in. After which he suggested we let it cool a little which we did. After we had finished, we made it back to our friend hotel in downtown Denver without any more bouts of dizziness or queasiness so my wife and I believe Last Chance Pizza was the remedy. So we will be back because we love the pizza, the service and the price. We will also take ALL of our visitors with any altitude issues to Last Chance before we go on tours in the passes. We chose Last Chance based on Yelp reviews alone. Looked great, High praise from locals, People talking about it being a destination pizza spot...SOLD. So we made the trek in from Georgetown to see for ourselves. Imagine our disappointment when we found only a walk up counter and 2 tables...as we were about to head back out the door saying "sorry it looked bigger in here on Yelp" the guys says "well there's this pub (in the same strip -Cala) and we've got a little deal worked out, order here-go wait there and have a drink-and when your pizza is ready we'll deliver it there." SOLD! We got the deluxe with no Green Peppers (subbed roasted reds) and it was a top notch East Coast pie. So we called Last Chance to order pizza and a salad about 45 minutes before they closed and I expected to hear they couldn't take our order, but they did. Finding 101 pizza closed for the summer I found last Chance on yelp. Ordered the veggie pizza with pepperoni on half. The pizza had black olives. I didn't order olives. Olive is not a vegetable. They keep seasonal hours, so don't trust the hours on Yelp - call ahead if you want to be sure. Arrived just as they were closing, but the guy offered to take my order anyway, which was super nice. Customized a pizza to make it vegan (skipping the Daiya) but loading up on veggies. My 14" thin crust pizza with 4 toppings came out to just over $18. The sauce has a distinct peppery taste, the crust is authentically thin, and the veggies were all fresh and crisp from the oven. The pizza was overall pretty good, but pricey to be sure. read more
