Where to begin? A cancelled flight with no notice and hour before? 300+ ppl screaming with no chance of a reroute or rebook. No organization. Being herded like cattle into busses to a sub par hotel with no vouchers so WE had to put our credit cards down. No water for us or children at any point. No apologies and then a far from empathetic response on twitter. We are all hoping our NEXT DAY REBOOK. Today actually happens. Never in my life ( and I travel over 200 days a year) have I had. Situation this horrible, disorganized and disgraceful occur. I will do everything in my power to make this known and effect latam's patronage and revenue for this severe and inhuman treatment of their paying international passengers. Hours of mayhem and a missed flight and day of work or connections elsewhere and all we got was a cold ham sandwich at the hotel we had to lay the money out for. Look at the passengers last night waiting for check into our hotel with no vouchers no food no water... to add insult to injury their response on twitter was the most non empathetic robotic thing I could think of.. horrible experience. Never again and you shouldn't either..

I recently flew United Polaris on a long-haul international route and came away with mixed…read moreimpressions. First, the positives: the seat itself is very good. It's spacious, private, and comfortable, and the bedding is excellent. The Polaris lounge experience is also a strong point and feels thoughtfully designed. From a "hard product" perspective (seat, cabin layout, amenities), United is competitive. Where the experience falls short is in service consistency and food quality. Service was uneven. Some flight attendants were warm, proactive, and clearly invested in delivering a premium experience. Others felt disengaged and reactive rather than attentive. The inconsistency made it difficult to understand what the Polaris service standard is supposed to be. In a flagship international business class cabin, you expect a clearly defined and consistently executed level of hospitality. The food presentation was decent, but the flavors were underwhelming. Several dishes tasted bland and lacked seasoning or refinement. For a product positioned at this price point, the culinary execution should feel more elevated and memorable. Overall, Polaris has strong fundamentals and real potential. If United can standardize service delivery and upgrade the catering to match the premium branding, it would be a much more competitive business class product. 3.5-4 stars depending on the crew.

Meaning you don't have a neighbor! They greet you with a smile and a glass of champagne. They ask what you'd like to have for dinner and let you pursue the amenity kit and big screen tv. Of course, all the plugs and compartments and pillows and blankets are there to provide ultimate comfort and accessibility. The flight attendants in business class are all so happy and friendly. I've only had a couple poor experiences on United, and never while in business class. The only weird thing about flying to the US from Santiago is that they have extra security at the gate. It was explained that they basically don't have TSA, so they thoroughly look through each person's bag at the gate. This means that if you bought a bottle of water for the plane (or liquor at the airport shops), you'll have to dump it... or chug it lol.

SKY AIRLINE - A Nightmare from Hell April 26, 2015 - I was…read moregoing to wait until landing, but decided that perhaps venting my misery during this nightmare from hell flight would ease my pain. My mother and I boarded Sky Airline, Flight 801, from Lima, Peru to Santiago, Chile on April 26th at approximately 6:50PM (Seats 6D and 6E). Our suffering began even before boarding, when I tried to check-in online. Most airlines allow you to do this in one simple step, but even this is extremely difficult with Sky Airline, as the system continued to display "cannot find reservation." We arrived at the airport 3 hours ahead of time as indicated, and at the counter I was promised a seat with more leg room so that my mom who recently had hip replacement surgery could travel more comfortably. To our surprise, we get to our seats and we are literally packed like sardines. A city bus at full capacity is more comfortable than the situation we were in. My mother's seat was broken, and since the flight was full, they could not move us; I ended up with the broken seat so that my mother didn't have to. My mother was sitting on an aisle seat, and I was in the middle. Later a very nice (and super tall) Australian gentleman arrived to sit next two us by the window (Seat 6F). He was very upset as he had requested and was promised the exit row seat (due to his height). His seat was broken too. No kidding, his legs were literally on top of mine, that's how tight the space was. I had my mother move to his seat and kindly offered him the aisle so that he could at least extend his legs toward the aisle. I was still in the broken seat. The plane was like a sauna... and everyone was very upset. Once the flight took off, they air was turned on. But, oh my goodness, when passengers started reclining their seats, we were in agony. This almost felt like a human traffic scenario. I felt like a prisoner. Later, we were given something they called "dinner." Lousy as you can imagine, plus the tray was so close to your face that using a fork to eat it was painful. The attendants did nothing about it. There was no apology. Absolutely nothing. DO NOT FLY SKY AIRLINE.
