At first I was a little confused because I didn't see an actual bubble tea store, but it turns out the bubble tea shop has the same owner as the restaurant and grocery store. There are menus at the counter of the grocery store's check out counter where you can place your order. Sadly, one of my choices (The lemon black tea) was not available so I went with the mango tea instead and got a passion fruit tea with yogurt popping boba. The cashier said the passion fruit was her favorite flavor- alright! They make the bubble tea next door at the Chinese restaurant kitchen/drink area. It didn't take too long for my drinks to be made and they had those nicely heat sealed lids. The passion fruit drink was a little too sweet for me so I'll see if I can ask for it less sweet next time. Service was very friendly and nice. Since options are limited in Flagstaff for bubble tea and I want to support local boba business (And fuel my bubble tea addiction) I'll try more next time I'm here!

This is my regular choice because it's pretty close the the freeway on ramp. There's plenty of searing. It's clean and the staff is always kind and helpful. The bathrooms at this location are always clean and it's one of the reasons I choose to make the stop. They've also got WiFi and a drive thru!

As far as I know this is the best deal in Flagstaff you can find. The cafe is surprising roomy and lends itself to be a good work environment. I find it easy and productive to work there. I like to check out the books/games/movies around the main store when I feel I need a break. The staff really make the space. I've only had positive interactions with all the workers. They are very genuine people who I love to talk to. I feel very welcomed whenever I come in.

I recently visited Late for the Train coffee shop and I have to say, I was blown away by both the delicious drinks and the charming atmosphere. I tried the expresso drink called Dave's Rockrammer and it was incredible - the perfect balance of rich espresso and creamy foam. But what really made my experience special was the lovely courtyard located in the back of the shop. It was peaceful and cool, with an abundance of tables and chairs to sit and enjoy drinks with the fam bam. It felt like a hidden oasis in the bustling city, a perfect spot to relax and unwind. I think the internet was down but there was no issue taking the payment and the worker was friendly and welcoming. Overall, I highly recommend Late for the Train for anyone looking for a great coffee experience. The drinks are top-notch and the ambiance is unbeatable. I can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious offerings. read more

Late for the Train is a coffee shop located in the historic district of Flagstaff, Arizona. I was there two months ago because it was recommended to us.It may look similar to other coffee shops.You order your coffee in the front and pick it up there. The coffee menu is similar to Starbucks. They offer espresso, cappuccino, and mocha.They offer specialty teas and breads. What makes Late for the Train so special is that they roast their coffee beans every day. The fresh flavor of the just ground coffee beans is amazing with a unique flavor. The mocha coffee contains freshly ground chocolate. It gives the mocha a stronger yet extremely flavorful taste. Excellent coffee (the mark of a good coffee shop is whether they have a good straight-up Americano far as I'm concerned - you can hide bad coffee and bad prep in a lot of the other other stuff), and one of the best coffee shop environments in Flagstaff (especially in the warmer months when you can sit in their courtyard). Only bone to pick is the food. They used to have great breakfast burritos as well and now they switched vendors (or maybe make them in house) and they are mediocre at best - one of the worst in town IMHO. And their baked goods, while better than the burritos by a wide margin, are terribly overpriced. I feel like I just got price gouged every time I buy a cookie. Get a coffee, skip the food. read more

This the one local roastery in Flagstaff where the coffee is roasted well and roasted often enough to make the word fresh seem not fresh enough. Between Santa Fe (Ohoris) and Pasadena CA at the corner of California and Lake (Peets) there is no other even close to this one. I tried both doors and both were locked. There was a staff person at the counter who completely ignored me. I waited about 15 minutes and tried both doors again--locked. And the staff person was at the counter and again ignored me. In addition I really didn't see any breakfast type pastries (except scones) in the display case. Needless to say we gave up and left. Had delicious pastries at Home Tourist.
